Villa las Uvas is spacious, well-appointed, and conveniently located. The view is unbeatable and the service was fantastic. Jean Paul was communicative throughout the whole process and the groundskeeper was extremely helpful throughout our stay.

This was our second long term stay at this home. We love the neighborhood, the location and the outdoor living area. It’s like having your own private tropical garden of Eden. Beto look care of everything we needed during our stay. The bedroom was quiet and the mattress was very comfy. It’s only two blocks away from a great little park and the Cathedral. The grocery stores are in easy walking distance. The downtown and harbor areas are also easily accessible by foot. This would be the perfect place to get the family together for vacation. Restaurants, bars, shopping, water sports and of course…scuba diving. The local residents were always friendly and nice to us. I’m sure we’ll be back again!

Our stay at this villa in Mexico was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning architecture, and the peaceful ambiance. The villa was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could have asked for. The outdoor space was beautiful with lush gardens, grotto with turtles, pool, and plenty of cozy spots to relax. The location was perfect, offering both privacy and easy access to local attractions, beaches, and restaurants. Ina the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, providing top-notch hospitality. This villa is amazing if you are looking for a family getaway. We stayed for a month and had several families visit us over the weeks we were here and everyone had a blast.

Casa Eugenia was a great spot for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. We spent our days scuba diving, at beach clubs, and cruising the island by scooters and jeeps. We enjoyed the pool in the late afternoon and early evening when we returned. It was an easy walk to the grocery store just 2 blocks away to find all our grocery needs for cooking at the house. The kitchen was well appointed and the patio area had an awesome grill. We had trouble finding charcoal for sale but Beto, the property manager, went out of his way to find and deliver some. The location is in a quieter part of town just a few blocks off the main boardwalk. There is a line of taxis at the Chedraui grocery store just a block away so it was easy to get one at any time. If you wanted to rent a car, there was a place to park on the property, but we didn't really need one the whole time so we opted for a daily rental from HTJ. Beto was very responsive and helpful as needed and Cas Eugenia felt like a home away from home!

Excellent location. Good communication with host. Great value.. Authentic Mexican decor . If you are looking for something modern this is not the place for you.. But it’s a six minute walk to the fabulous beach and a 15 minute walk to downtown Playa . And the host provides two very nice beach chairs . Also, there’s an outdoor seating area. It’s very private or afternoon wine . We stayed for a month. We can’t wait to stay there again !

This place was wonderful, and exactly as described. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. It is worth getting a Geo coordinate / pin drop for Google maps. The address is something that Google seems to struggle with, or at least it did for us. Thankfully, the host was able to help us find the residence in this way immediately upon request.

This 2 bedroom unit was amazing. Had everything one could want and came with a million dollar view. Watch the sun dip in the sea right from the deck. Thoughtfully furnished. even places to hang wetsuits and towels to dry. A/C in every room, ceiling fans, or just open the windows (screened) and enjoy the breeze. The key to the success of this property is its owner and manager: Mr. Memo, who lives on site and is always available. Memo is the true heart and soul of this fantastic gem of a place. He has been so very helpful even before we arrived, answering the many questions we had. When the car ferry we booked cancelled the sailing on New Year’s Eve, Memo allowed us to use his car, a late model low mileage, beautiful sedan. We wanted to go snorkeling, Memo connected us with a top notch operator for a private tour. He helped us with so many recommendations that our stay would honestly had not been the same without Memo. No wonder many of his guests are regulars and fantastic folks.

Staying at Cherri's place was wonderful! We received detailed directions and recommendations in advance. We were welcomed by Prudy, Cherri's housekeeper, who prepared a delicious dinner for us on our first day of travel - per our request and at an extra charge. Prudy was one of the best surprises during our stay! She was there every day to clean and refresh items. Alberto was also wonderful and came by every morning. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. Cherri added lots of comforts that we appreciated: high speed internet, smart TV, blue tooth speakers, zoned AC, lots of ceiling fans, lots of bathrooms! We made good use of the kitchen. There is not a dishwasher. We spent most mornings having coffee by the pool. The grounds are beautiful and private. The pool isn't heated, so a bit chilly this time of year. The house is not directly on the beach, but you can get to it quickly. There are great restaurants that are walkable. We highly recommend Cherri's place and Akumal!

Sergio's house is beautiful, perfectly cared for and in excellent taste. It far exceeded our expectations, the super spacious rooms all with very comfortable dressing room and beds, the huge kitchen, living room and terrace, the beautiful pool, large and with a great palapa to be in groups of friends or family. The canal view is super nice and you can sunbathe from dawn to sunset. Francesca who was always in contact with me is a super friendly person, she recommended me - among many other things - a Catamaran where we had a spectacular time (in fact they passed by us at the dock of the house), she was always very attentive and decisive with the best attitude I have seen. In the house she was always attentive to us Rox, she always had the house impeccable and treated us like a real host. I highly recommend this house and everything it implies, in general I would give it 100/100 WE LOVED IT and of course we will be back.

if beach front and comfort is what you're looking for then it doesn't get better than this.

Our family loved our stay at this Gina and Andy's villa. Gina was very responsive from the time of booking until we left. She gave us great recommendations regarding transfer services and places to eat. Their housekeeper, Cerafina, was wonderful! We arranged for her to cook meals for us - breakfast and dinner - for multiple days. Her meals were amazing and very cost effective. This was one of our favorite parts of the trip! Our family of seven would all highly recommend having her cook for you! The house was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms but works wonderfully. Great location and we saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We would definitely return!

Our stay was fabulous! The house is beautiful and the pool and dock were great. We had a big group and six kids with us and the house accommodated all of our needs. The casita was perfect for the family with the younger children for nap etc. All of the staff were so kind and gracious and helpful. The house was cleaned every day which is always a big treat and helpful at the beach. The pool and grounds were also attended to everyday and looked beautiful. We loved the ease of getting into the ocean from the dock — great for snorkeling. And the pool was perfect for the kids. We also loved the big outdoor dining table so we could have family meals. Marilu, Bryan, and Cristofer were all extremely responsive and helpful. We hope we can stay again sometime in the future!

I am SO happy that we found Villa de Paz. Scott and crew at Akumal Direct were wonderful hosts in every way. We came with a group of 12 and the home perfectly accommodated all of us. The feeling of the home is relaxed and retreat-like. The neighborhood very quiet, and the construction on the adjacent property was not too interruptive of our time at the home (mornings till about 10, and afternoons after 5) The house staff was such a blessing for me in particular. It was so wonderful to come home to a clean and tidy place EVERY DAY! Dishes DONE! Please come prepared to tip these wonderful people! The lagoon access was incredible, so take advantage of it in the early morning or late afternoon. You will have it almost all to yourself. A short, pleasant walk. Glorious! Take advantage of the grocery delivery service, too, through Riviera Maya Grocery Delivery. It was so wonderful to have a stocked kitchen on the night of our arrival.

The House was beautiful & clean. Better than the pictures! Beach area was clean & pool was amazing. The cleaning crew did a great job everyday & were friendly !

I looked at a lot of listings and the reviews for this place convinced me- and I'm so glad they did! The extensive history of satisfied travelers is well deserved! Kerstin was great, as was everyone we interacted with associated with the house. We took advantage of having some meals made for us and that was really nice. In the neighborhood there aren't any grocery stores or even convenience stores, so having some meals to go along with the groceries we bought on the way in was great. Maybe two houses/buildings down from this one is a restaurant and bar that was super convenient and the people who worked there were nice. Two things that were really nice of Kerstin to do: we needed more than one pack 'n play and she managed to have two for us, which was great. And we asked about sand toys for our kids and a bunch appeared the next day! This is on top of the great amenities already there. It really was a nice stay and one of the better Airbnb experiences I've had.

Just go ahead and book it. Safety is a must for me and I felt very safe while I was here - it’s a gated community. I was here for my birthday. I mostly communication with Ilona and she is super kind & very responsive, proactive with requests, she also recommend so many places & things to do as well as a lovely agent that helped me book my activities. She sent me pastry & a beautiful cake on my birthday which was very thoughtful. Home is gorgeous, clean. Pictures don’t do justice. 10/10 experience.

Great place to stay. 5 stars!!

I really fell in love with this place and hope to return soon. It’s so tranquil and private and my family enjoyed the peace and quiet. The wildlife is amazing as well—iguanas, coati, and various other little creatures to see. The accommodations are spacious and very comfortable and everything you can possibly need is provided for your convenience. The outdoor kitchen is so nice to have and the pool is such a pleasure as well. We truly loved and appreciated our experience here and am grateful for Heather’s and Cristina’s kindness and generosity. Much gratitude and hope to stay again soon!

This is the second time we stayed in Costa del Sol. My family and I loved this area! There is a dock for any boat to us pick up on. There is a parking spot for a rental car if needed. Security on property 24/7 so always felt safe to let my young child run freely. Enrique, the concierge was extremely helpful full and attentive to all our needs and wants. This house was fully equipped with everything needed, not only kitchen items but children’s beach toys. The only downside was the beds being harder than we are used to but that is our personal opinion. Thanks Rodrigo and Amber for the lovely stay.

Had a group of adult family over the Christmas holiday. Henny, her husband, and Maria were all extremely helpful and friendly. Maria helped with finding excursions, and Henny was always checking on us to make sure we had everything we didn’t. The place was absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time, the house was very comfortable, and we felt safe! Nice big rooms, and a big balcony for privacy. We hope to return next year and rent this house again. We absolutely loved it!

We loved it! The house was super fun, and was a great setup for our family vacation. The staff was so helpful and patient with our questions.

Shannon went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed especially since we were traveling with young children. We were able to connect with Alex and preplan our trip. He was key in securing in home cooked dinners by Cocina de mi Tia. Food was delicious and included traditional Yucatan meals. It removed all of the stress of providing meals for our large family allowing us to spend more time enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the pool, beach, and local restaurants. Shannon and Jeff's recommendations for excursions were excellent -- creating long lasting memories for us all. Snorkeling and swimming with the manta rays will always be a favorite memory for our family. We've all agreed that this could be our new family vacation tradition. Thank you!
