El Pedregal is the name of the home it means “Stone place” I build like the Mayan Ruins from local line stone, with lots of Mexican art and stained glass windows a true Mexican experience , the master bedroom have a jacuzzi tub and outdoor shower, with two bedrooms upstairs and two bathroom And two bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs, all with King size bed three of them can be set as dobles.

The VIP experience and access to club member pricing was an AMAZING deal!!! The jungle literally meets the Ocean at Sandos Caracol. It is the only all inclusive resort in the area that has both Mayan ruins and a natural Xenote (spring fed pool) on the property. We saw Monkeys, Coati, Agouti, Turtles, Yucatan Jay Birds, Curassow, Yucatan Parrot, and many different Iguana and Lizards roaming about the property. At one point during our visit a spider monkey walked up to us and sat next to us for a few seconds. I have pictures and videos of it, it was one of the highlights of our trip for our 9 year old. The rooms are spotless, the amenities are incredible (water park slides were a hit). The drinks of all kinds are a 10/10. 7/10 at the buffets and 8.5/10 at the restaurants. If all you want to do is lay by the beach and drink umbrella drinks there are other resorts. If you love nature, suspension bridges, natural springs, and learning of cultural history this is the resort to go to.

Memo's Village was perfect for us. The location is quite, right across the road from the beach. You can walk or drive to more lively spots if you wish. Memo's customer service is awesome, he is a kind and caring man, that wants you to feel at home at his home. The pool on the property is perfect for cooling off or just hanging out. This was my first time with an extended time period, sharing a home with the host family. As an experienced traveler, one of the best experiences is making new and lasting people connections along the way. This was certainly the case with Diana, Paty, and their family. They are "Super-Host" that created an experience that I will not soon forget. From their genuine kindness, caring, and sharing, to providing a lovely, comfortable, accommodating, secure home, and neighborhood environment. Virtually everything you need is within a 10-minute walk. With 10 - 15 minutes to the beach by cycle or jogging. This by far is the best experience that I've had with ABNB over the past several years . Take advantage of this opportunity to stay with this beautiful family, lovely home, and secure family-oriented neighborhood. Paty has become a dear friend, and I will stay at their home, every visit to Playa Del Carmen. A beautiful experience awaits you. The dogs are great! Pura Vida, Max

Carlos is a phenomenal host. By far the best host I have ever come across. When we arrived, he greeted us at the condo to ensure we were aware of everything for the duration of our stay. The building and the apartment are beautiful and very well maintained. The garden in the ground floor is stunning. We ordered food in the cafe downstairs and it was surprisingly good - we had green juices and avocado toast. Carlos kept in touch with us during our stay and we even bumped into him in the building a few times. He gave us fabulous tips on where to go and what to do particularly in Bacalar and Merida. Carlos knows the area very well and his suggestions were excellent. He saved us a lot of time from having to look up restaurants and places to stay. The only item that was difficult to get used to at first was the noise at night coming from the courtyard. We wanted to leave the door open to let the fresh air in but after 2 weeks of trying, we decided to close the door and use the fan instead because we got woken up often. Once we closed the doors at night, we slept much better. Security was great at following up with loud music and people. All we had to do was call reception and they followed up 100% of the time. I would absolutely chose Carlos again.

My girlfriend and I booked this Airbnb for a full month and we really need to emphasize how much of a wonderful hidden gem this place is. The property is a stunning modern loft with access to a beautiful shared rooftop pool and terrace. The unit itself was very clean with high ceilings (great for tall people) and equipped with a kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, large shower, washer/dryer and an extremely comfortable king-sized bed. The unit stays unbelievably cool with two air conditioning units located both upstairs and downstairs. There are also two large smart TVs mounted in both the living room and the bedroom (very convenient for Netflix viewing after a long day at the beach). The Wi-Fi was consistently fast and reliable and we had no issues with the power or hot water - amazing considering we were there for a month! The place also came equipped with several towels, multiple pillows and bedsheets, and even two portable beach chairs and an umbrella, which made our beach experience that much more enjoyable. I should highlight that I've stayed at several Airbnb's in the past that simply provided the bare minimum, so it's quite refreshing to have hosts that go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable. Major bonus points for this! The location and walking score are perfect, located within a 10-minute walk of 5th avenue/the beach and situated in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of local shops, markets and amazing places to eat. It was important for my girlfriend and I to be close enough to the beach, without having to hear the loud nightclub music of 5th avenue. Beyond this, there is a giant supermarket (MEGA) located within a 3-minute walk of the Airbnb, which is extremely convenient if you need to do a quick grocery shop. Further down the street you'll find additional grocery markets as well as a Wal-Mart - literally everything you need within a 5-minute stretch. For us, this spot checked all of our boxes for the perfect location in Playa del Carmen. Beyond the beautiful property and location, the hosts, Luis and Marco, are by far the most accommodating, friendly and customer service-oriented people that I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with through Airbnb. They were very responsive, beyond friendly and truly made our experience special. We were even offered free daily breakfast at a fantastic local restaurant named Pik Nik for the duration of our stay, which was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend you take advantage if you stay. Overall, this has been one of the most positive and memorable Airbnb experiences that my girlfriend and I have had to date. We highly recommend this rental and cannot wait to book again when we return from Canada.
