Vacation rentals in San Miguel de Cozumel

Our stay at Carmen's was incredible. It is right in the heart of all the action in Playa del Carmen. Literally seconds to the beach. You are in the middle of the shopping. You can walk to Starbucks, 7-11 and even McDonalds (if you want that). The house is a great size with 2 large bedrooms, each having their own beautiful bathrooms with huge walk in showers. Everything we needed was in the large kitchen. it felt like an authentic Mexican house. We felt at home there. You are secure behind an entry gate. Sit on the front porch area and enjoy a coffee/drink or take in your private pool in the back in full seclusion from everyone. The local people are amazing (go to Donalds place across the way! he's great!!). We felt so safe and accepted. There have been comments about not being able to flush toilet paper. This is not specific to Carmen's home. This is just something done in the area. I'm Canadian and used to this in our northern cottages. Not a big deal. She even provides a safe!

Wow, BOOK it now! We loved our Spring Break retreat here. The sprawling house is amazing. It was perfect for our 2 families (9 ppl - 4 adults, 5 teen or preteens). We had enough room to spread out but all connect in the amazing spots throughout the property. The house setup gives lots of flexibility to accommodate variety of guests. The porch is awesome. The pool and waterfall are relaxing. The cenote is truly uniques. The support team (Ruth - housekeeper and Rafael - handyman, grounds) are a superb extra perk. We coordinated for a bfast and dinner by Ruth and perfecto. They treat the property and guests with real caring. The location is convenient for all types of activities. We couldn't have asked for more and highly recommend.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed with Alfredo and I recommend him. He's very flexible with the check-in time. He allowed me to arrive at 9:00, which is very much appreciated. A quiet, comfortable, clean place for the family to have a great time

Great day short taxi ride to so many things beaches, etc. poncho helped us every step of the way, answered all our questions. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend the place.

The house is as shown, it is quite spacious, perfect for a large group, it is just far from the center but one street away there is a park and you can take a taxi there.

Easy access, within walking distance of the town center, and fully equiped kitchen making it easy to cook in the flat when necessary. Would recommend staying here.

If, like us, you are looking for a place to unwind, be able to walk to everything you need and immerse yourself in the local culture then this place is perfect. Nos encantan mucho la ciudad, el barrio, la casa, los habitantes y practicar nuestra español. Victoria was a superb host that went above and beyond to help us and for answering all our questions. She was really great.

Beautiful stay! Very comfortable for our family of 4!! So nice to have beach gear (chairs, beach blanket, snorkels/fins/masks/small umbrella) and household basics provided (tp, dish soap, drinking water, shower soaps, napkins, cooking oils and spices, and ground coffee). We enjoyed the back yard space a bunch. Loved the coffee shop treats in the Am. It's a lovely comfortable spot.

Patricio was a wonderful host and very responsive. The area was perfect, as you are a minute's walk from the beach. The construction was not very disturbing; in the downstairs rooms, there is more noise. The surrounding area has tons of restaurants and shopping, and you are a ten-minute walk from town. The neighborhood felt safe, and the house had everything we needed for an enjoyable week-long stay!

Property was comfortable and clean. A/C worked well. I would stay there again!

We really enjoyed Josue’s home. It was centrally located, quiet ,safe and easy to walk to the beach and restaurants . It easily fits 8 people comfortably . The pool is also a short two minute walk. I would definitely bring my family back here .

Great location and room

Antonio‘s house was absolutely wonderful and everything we hoped for. The outdoor living space is phenomenal and where we spent all of our time when at the house. The kitchen was well equipped, and if there was anything that we needed, we were provided it after asking. Each bedroom was comfortable and had its own bathroom, a bonus when traveling with other people. If Antonio offers for you to visit his glamping facility and take the jungle tour, take him up on it! It was one of our favorite parts of the trip. A couple things we were unaware of the pleasantly surprised by: - The house comes along with a housekeeper that stays a minimum of two hours per day. She is incredibly sweet and will assist with anything you may need, whether it be dishes, laundry, cooking etc. - The house itself is in a gated community. Shame on us for not researching the area so we were quite surprised, but also ended up having a really fabulous time with so much going on around us. There were tons of restaurants, a beautiful beach, great areas to walk around, and lots of close towns to visit. We did not rent a car so so we ended up renting a golf cart to get around Puerto Aventuras. This worked out fabulous and just provided an extra element of fun for the trip. All of the locals seem to be taking Covid extremely serious. That was a bonus for us and much appreciated when visiting different areas. Thank you Antonio and Ayda!

This home provided us with an excellent vacation! The location was gorgeous and convenient to restaurants and shops, yet away from the hustle and bustle of town. The lagoon out our back door was the most beautiful cenote we visited. My family felt safe and enjoyed the friendly staff around the neighborhood. The house had all the basic necessities and anything we asked for during our stay was provided. Any concerns or questions were immediately addressed. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely return in the future! Our favorites: very family friendly, very clean, washer/dryer were convenient, excellent restaurants within walking distance, pool/beach towels provided, the wildlife and serene setting, friendly workers, drinking water provided

Great house to relax in and great location to explore the Riveria Maya!

What an amazing place to get away with our two children. Safety was a big factor for us and this beautiful property provided just that. The staff was all around and they were so very kind and accommodating and made us feel safe. Access to the lagoon was magical. We will be back!

We wanted a quiet, safe, beautiful, comfortable place right on the Yal Ku Lagoon in Akumal with easy access into the lagoon and a private pool. The lagoon is a beautiful place to snorkel & its right out of the back door. This place delivered all of that!!! You get free snorkel gear from the Lagoon Park a 3 minute walk away. We found 2 restaurants we loved in easy walking distance & others a 5 minute drive away.The guards for the gate were so friendly & nice. Bikes are available too. If we needed anything- like more filtered water it was promptly delivered. Having the pool & hot tub all to ourselves was great!!! We were a family of grandparents, 7 year old grandson & his parents & our other adult son.

This was our second stay here and it was as good as we remembered!

Stunning location! The view from the rooftop pool of the lagoon and the ocean was breathtaking. Access to the lagoon before and after hours was incredible. Having the snorkeling equipment and life jackets included was great for traveling with our kids and they loved seeing the fish. The property is all the way at the end of a long road, so it feels remote. There are a few restaurants along the road, but the closest was a 15-20 minute walk (with kids). Everything felt very safe and secure. The beds are on the firm side and we loved the paintings in the bedrooms and the artistry of the place in general. I thought we would be able to walk around the point and get beach access, but it was all private property and very rocky. We tried it anyway, but it was rough going. It was so peaceful and relaxing - I wish we could have stayed longer. Muchas gracias!
