Awesome place to stay!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here in Playa del Carmen! The condo is easily accessible as it’s on the first floor right by the entrance to the building. The building is centrally located in the city, continently located within walking distance to the beach, 5th avenue, the Cozumel ferry, both the ADO Turística and Alterna bus stations, the Walmart, and pretty much anything else you might need. Unlike noted in some other reviews, the auditory noise of residents entering the building is not problematic. But, a nearby neighbor does have a rooster that will crow in the morning. The clubs in Playa are located far enough away that you cannot hear them when you’re inside, although i was able to hear them from the rooftop pool and hot tub, but it was not annoying. Alan, who lives nearby, is very kind. He helped us into the apartment when we arrived, and on short notice. He shared contact information with us so that we could contact him should the need arise. There were bathroom essentials. There were also plenty of towels and beach towels, which we took to the beach. And the stacked washer/dryer combo was great, but you might have to purchase your own laundry detergent from the nearby store. The condo is larger than I expected with plenty of room. And there are two porches on both sides of the unit if you need even more space. It is also very private in spite of the central location. Nobody can see you while in the apartment. Everything works as it should. And there was a five gallon container of drinking water installed for us when we arrived. Overall, we had a great time, and the condo made our trip as enjoyable as possible. I would stay here again. Oh, and make sure to visit Mr. Waffle across the street for breakfast. It’s dirt cheap, high quality, and I said I’d send more people their way. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, comfortable, centrally located, private place with a friendly host to stay in Playa, feel comfortable knowing that this place is a great place to stay.

What a wonderful stay we had. The apartment is beautiful and we loved the rooftop private patio it was great for our morning coffee. The place had everything you could need, kitchen was well stocked and we had big jugs of bottled water too use during our stay. The rooftop pool was amazing, lots of seating in the sun and couches too sit in the shade and the water was fantastic too cool off in. There also a hottub we used at night too. The area was amazing. Just a couple minutes too 5th and there was restaurants all over and 7-11 on the corner and a grocery store just down the street. Very safe very lively neighborhood. Our host always messages us back right away when we needed too ask a question so that was great. Overall we had an amazing time here we felt right at home instantly and would book here again for sure on our next trip.

The apartment is beautifully laid out, and feels like a home away from home. Lovely open planned kitchen well equipped, plenty of seating space in the living room, two well-sized balconies, two full bathrooms and double bedrooms. The location is about 10-15 minute walk from 5th and 10th avenue / ADO turistica and is across the street from the Chedraui supermarket, super convenient! It’s also around the corner from the collectivo point for buses Tulum. Gisela and Sergio communicated excellently! Super warm, friendly and welcoming! Provided recommendations for restaurants, bars and things to do in Playa and well as recommendations for visits across Quintana Roo and Yucatan! Would 1000% stay again!

This 2-bedroom apartment in Playa del Carmen was absolutely perfect! It looked even better in person than in the photos–super stylish, sparkling clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The private plunge pool was a great bonus, and the rooftop pool and jacuzzi with amazing views & the covered grill area on the rorooftop were the perfect places to relax. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, top restaurants, and shops. I honestly can't recommend this place enough—1000% would stay here again. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Gloria and Gabriel were wonderful, easy to communicate with, they checked in on me, recommended a car rental, and were just really sweet. The apt is priced fairly for what you get and location. The pictures are accurate. A bit on the smaller side but cozy and clean! AC worked great, pool was clean and refreshing, easy access in and out of the complex with a security guard at the gate. Beach towels and cooler available for use, which was such a nice bonus. Absolutely recommend, would 100% come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Las Cascadas! It was exactly as pictured and a perfect little slice of paradise for our group of seven. The beach access was stunningly beautiful and we enjoyed hunting for beach treasures daily. It was very easy to walk to several restaurants, bars, and shopping and we rarely needed a car. We did make a stop at a grocery store on our way into town, which was very convenient. The hosts that took care of breakfast and cleaning every day were absolutely incredible. They were so kind and made our stay so comfortable. We had them cook a couple dinners for us and the food was delicious! I cannot recommend this villa highly enough! We hope to return soon.

the house was very clean and in a safe area. it’s best if you have a car; so you can get anywhere quickly. manuel was always immediately available and check-in and key return were easy and uncomplicated.

Fully equipped really 200% in terms of kitchen essentials, daily beach chairs, parasol and even 2 hammocks...) and even partying (musical baffle) QQ accessories to renew but overall everything was perfect 👌 Feel free to snorkel in Tulum it's worth a visit (+/- 400 pesos + 60 pesos nature reserve bracelet) Gaby is very responsive so feel free to ask him questions to improve your arrival and turn on the hot water when we arrived (which we forgot the first 2 days)

Jorge Arturo is an excellent host, he always cared because we were comfortable, the place is a very quiet and private place. I felt right at home. Very comfortable beds

It is a beautiful, quiet place, close to the ferry, it has a waterfront exit and you can snorkel, you enjoy it a lot

Nice stay and cool place. Well equipped to work remotely. Even had an extra monitor and two desks which was a nice touch. Rooftop pool is nice as well. During my stay the power did go out a handful of times however. But from what I heard this is common in the area. A bit far from the main areas of playa, but a bicycle was provided which was also a bonus!

Great place to stay! Very convenient to beach and to restaurants and shops downtown. We rented a car, but hardly used it the entire 12 days we were there.

The best accommodations that can exist in Playa del Carmen. A few steps from two OXXOs and public transportation, taxis, trucks, combis and motorcycle taxis pass, making it easy to get anywhere. Close to Plaza Las Americas and Aurrera winery what makes shopping super easy. Marcelo is always attentive at all times, the best host and there is always someone pending on what you get to need. I would definitely stay again, and the pool super clean, you really feel very safe in your stay. Ideal for short and long stays. All the stars that exist, the accommodation never disappoints you.

I can't praise Kathleen and her place enough! Her hospitality was exceptional, making me feel like a valued friend. The accommodation was just great, stylish, and equipped with everything I needed.
