My wife and I spent the weekend at Priscilla's place and we really enjoyed it! Smooth check-in and the instructions' folder was very helpful. We were very close to Joshua Tree for a hike, and the hot tub was a bliss after the hike! While the pool was not heated, we visited during March and it was a bit chilly, but the view of the stars from the hot tub was priceless! We'd love to come back here soon!

Our first time to Joshua Tree, and it did not disappoint! The Hideaway guesthouse was such a unique find. Super clean and comfortable. Loved the automatic roll-up door extending the living space out to the patio to enjoy the surrounding landscape and the magnificent cactus garden. The clerestory windows provided nice privacy, but let in so much wonderful light. We are not musicians but had a go at the drums and guitars...Good times for us but not sure if our Golden Retriever enjoyed our new found pastime... but she sure had a blast exploring the property. So nice to relax in the hammocks looking at a blanket of stars above us. Wish we had booked a longer stay to take full advantage of the property including that clean BBQ and Fire Pit area. Devon and Ryan were super responsive and lightning quick to accept our booking and answer our questions. This is a property that we will be sharing with our family and friends.

This wonderful magestic home is such a treat. Tucked in the forest of nevada county in a wonderful little town with an awesome local organic market Erin built this home with her friends and community and you can feel the magic in the walls with all the amazing artistic touches. This home offers a perfect retreat for hectic city life. It's off the grid but close enough to conveniences to not feel secluded. The wonderful Yuba river is near by. Erin was so wonderful and so accomadating and really went above and beyond to make you feel at home. This is definatally a must see for adventurous spirit with an appreciation for unique spaces. We would most definatally be staying again .

I was planning for a nice peaceful, unplugged weekend, which I absolutely got at Ben's place. The place was peaceful, clean, quiet, and the outdoor tub is amazing. The only thing is that my car broke down while I was there and I had no cell service. Ben was super helpful drove me into town a little way so I could get cell service, and helped me to figure out what to do. He was kind enough to coordinate with my friends so they could pick me up. I would have not been in the same situation had I stayed anywhere else. So I'm thankful that I stayed at Ben's place this weekend. Thank you so much, Ben. You are a lifesaver.

There are no words that can do this review justice. This stay at Lael's property was absolutely exceptional in every way and by far the best airbnb experience we've enjoyed to date. My husband and I chose to have a couple nights as a mini honeymoon here in the Samwise themed hobbit hole and it was PERFECT! Down to the little LotR references throughout the space, all were set with love. The breakfasts were brought on time every morning and still warm/hot, even in the rain. As someone with sensitive allergies, the unit was positively spotless. Not a speck of dust was found; so shout out to the young lady in charge of cleaning. She does a phenomenal job! Thank you Lael and family for making our time on the property special. May God bless you and your family with all your future endeavors! ❤️ 🙏 P.S. The shire themed charcuterie board is worth every penny! Definitely a delicious must-have.

The host provided snacks and some drink and the airbnb had everything we could ask for. One thing that could be improved is the water heating, but if you take quick shower, it should be fine. We loved how the wood burning stove was warming up the room. Very cute building.

Staying in the Hobbit House was probably one of the best experiences of my life. Gordon was very helpful with instructions, and was not just a great host but someone I truly enjoyed conversing with! The house was a perfect size for my pup and I, and is very secluded. That being said - DO wear hiking shoes, as the path down the canyon could definitely be challenging for some. The pictures do not do the actual place justice. I found the silence and solitude so peaceful - the surrounding land brought me so much serenity. I’ve just found out that I’m going to probably be going through some treatments for a blood disease, so this was such a nice place to just not have to think about that, and just be in the moment. I definitely plan on coming back in the future (multiple times) as this is my new go- to to escape from “reality” and just exist. Thank you Gordon, for being so helpful and kind! Give your pup a pet for me, it was such a pleasure staying in that little piece of heaven!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. I was smiling the whole time with just how much I was enjoying myself. The design of the home with all the little details, the comfortable bed, the peaceful surroundings, and the delicious breakfast that catered to my allergens were just some of the things that made our stay perfect. The host came to start a fire for us as well which made a cozy atmosphere. I wish I stayed longer, and plan to come back in the future!
