Boutique hotel vacation rentals in California

This was an interesting place. It was clearly designed for a surfer… not a shorter woman per se. Well use of space. Creative design. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom area. Large space. Very clean. But very loud. They did provide ear plugs and a noise machine to help. Amazing location and nice that they offered two free drinks to the restaurant upstairs with delicious food. It didn’t always feel the safest as the outside door was always open but I think it’s a safe town. The people were welcoming and kind. Oh, they have Netflix but no live TV.

The stay at hotel pepper tree was very pleasant. The check in was quick and they even let us check in 20 minutes early and the customer service was very good. The room was very clean and definitely a different experience from a traditional hotel .

Very well located hotel 1 hour from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. The village is typical of the American West. The hotel's architecture proves it. The welcome was perfect because even though we didn't meet the owner, everything was done to feel good. Check-in instructions were clear There is quality tea and coffee which is worth noting. I would recommend this place.

This was my second time staying here and it won’t be my last! Very clean, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, and Chelsea is a prompt communicator.

Such a cute place, very close to the beach, and very comfortable. This place was so peaceful with lovely walking paths very close by. Highly recommend.

One of the best Airbnb's I've ever stayed in! The pictures look amazing and it gets even better in person! The tub rooms are very intimate and every detail of the entire compound was designed with intention. I can see myself coming back here for a meditation retreat. The host is very responsive and my room included way more than expected. Not only was it immaculately clean, it was decorated and outfitted in a way that made me truly feel like I was at home. They even included 4 local eggs in the refrigerator which I enjoyed cooking on the gas stove in the full size kitchen. The water is hot, bed is comfortable, and ambiance is quiet and beautifully landscaped with native plants. I can't say enough great things about this place.

If I could leave a million stars I would. Tara’s cabin is a hidden gem wonderland along the stream. A perfectly hot jacuzzi overlooking the trees. Sounds of nature and birds. The staircase is magnificent. The bed super comfy. The kitchen fully stocked. The atmosphere is a dream. I am so so so so grateful I stumbled across this incredible place to restore my body, spirit and mind. And Tara is the friendliest kindest person! Was on top of whatever I needed. Truly cares to provide her guests a serene peaceful stay.

This is my second time staying at Drift Palm Springs and I look forward to many more visits here! It is truly the best place to stay in the desert - it's a perfect mix of hotel and vacation rental. You get the space, independence, and coziness of a short term rental, but the perks and ambiance of a boutique hotel. The property itself is so gorgous and the restaurant on-site is *chefs kiss*. Pool, bike rentals, yoga mats, fire pits - tons of things to do not to mention you're steps away from downtown PS. I tell everyone I know to stay here, you truly can't go wrong!

super cute, clean,. on the Palm Springs strip but slightly away enough from the hustle bustle. staff made me feel right at home.

I enjoyed staying at Hotel Narcissus! The facilities were such an interesting concept and there was clearly an attention to detail. It felt like such a unique place staying somewhere with so much character! The area was quiet and safe. There was plenty of street parking around. There were real roses in my room, and Benjamin offered to switch them out as I was nearing the end of my stay with fresh roses! Benjamin was a great host and very responsive to issues as they came up.
