Tent vacation rentals in California

We would definitely come back! Everything was provided for except food (totally understandable). Shantel’s place is really quiet and peaceful. The kids enjoyed the amenities in this camp site. The place was clean, organized and well thought of. Even the water for washing dishes was provided for. Shantel was friendly , responsive, accommodating, easy to communicate with and was available the whole time we were there. I highly recommend this campsite.

This was our second time camping at this special place. We felt recharged, grounded, and energized by the end of our stay! Will definitely be back :)

The place was awesome, comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious and we were able to have a fire which was nice, the tent had a heater that keep the tent warm so we slept very comfortable, and playing around with their goat was super fun! Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I had an absolutely amazing stay here. We stayed for almost a week. Leanna was very welcoming and we felt right at home. She made a delicious breakfast and was very kind. I’m also gonna miss Zeus lol he’s an adorable little dog that was very enthusiastic to greet me every time we came through the door. I would 1000% stay here again & probably will in the very near future 😊 Thank you so much again!!

It was a nice stay without any issues. They’re still working on installing showers in the bath house but there were enough for us to use without any wait. There are other accommodation options available on site and can get populated if there’re many campers. Definitely enjoyed the stay and would go back.

Great spot to camp. Close to Yosemite West entrance. Host was great and the place was perfect for our camping road trip!

The Sustainable Ecovillage was quite the getaway destination! Very peaceful and mountainous. Would like very much to come back to stay in the treehouse or hobbit home! All of his rental spaces are very unique and charming. Dan was a very friendly host. Sadly Forest fires last fall scorched some of the area however noticed the regrowth beginning already in March!

We rented two sites side by side for three families and everyone had an absolute blast. The novice campers were happy for the luxurious beds and the seasoned campers had fun sleeping in the adventurous tensile air-tents. The site was super well stocked - salt, sugar, water, a bathroom caddy, pots, pans, grill, plates etc. (even board games). It was so easy to make coffee in the morning or grill a nice fish at nice. We had such a wonderful time that we're already planning a return trip. The woods are beautiful and there are great hiking trails nearby.

We stayed here while visiting sequoia and kings canyon national parks. The tent was spotless and the beds were very comfortable! We camped with our kids and 3 month old so we chose the glamping option to alleviate some of the set up and tear down. It was definitely the way to go with a baby. We had a great time and plan to return in the future with friends. We usually “rough it” camp so the lack of electricity and non flushable toilet didn’t bother us but is something to note.

Leah's place was the perfect location for a peaceful weekend retreat and provided the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The space was exactly as described and a great place to explore the broader area. Leah and her dad were extremely responsive to our questions and requests. It was fun touring their vineyard and learning about the history of the region. Highly recommend!

An amazing stay! Not too far from the cities, so it’s an easy getaway. So many small details really brought this place to life: The views are amazing. The outdoor shower sat right under the morning sun. The grill was a huge help. There was a place to sit and eat outside, a place to sit and chat by the fire, and bean bag chairs inside. The lighting outside was so cute, even the trees were lit up! A much needed weekend.

Great stay! Showers and bathroom were conveniently very close by. The tent we stayed in was great! The heated blankets really saved the night, we had convenient parking right in front of our tent! Driveway to the ranch is one way. Aside from the activities the ranch offers you will also be very close to other city sights!

2nd time staying here, beautiful spot with everything you need. Mimi and Rick are always very caring hosts, checking in making sure your stay is comfortable and worry free.

Really enjoyed my stay despite being in town for a funeral. Beautiful place, beautiful home, wonderful people. Definitely would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you again!

Host was very quick to respond to my questions and able to accommodate my late check in. He arranged me to get instructions after hours and when I had a problem finding an exact area, he came to meet me at night to show me the place. Area was quiet and peaceful and close to the bathroom. Host also manages the small general store which sells drinks and snacks at the entrance. Convenient. Highly recommend to anyone passing through that area!

Amazing hidden spot for those that love to be inside nature, beauty and piece, with the perfect amount of structure. Not too much, so it looks like home, not too little, so it is trouble. AMAZING!

Diane offers a unique type of lodging. She provides a complete camping setup that she sets up and takes down. Our situation required to have it located on our property near Guerneville ( we couldn’t fly out the gear from Colorado) and she accommodated us gladly. Her gear was clean, cozy and in great condition. The cost was a fraction of what an in-home stay would cost. I was especially thankful for the little extras she provided once she knew what we needed. Communication was great. She did everything she said she would and was very nice about it. We will certainly call on her again when we return to do more work on the property. And I recommend her services without hesitation!

The entrance was a bit tricky to find at first, and check-in was a little confusing, but once I figured it out, everything was amazing. The place is so cute and clean, and I had such a wonderful time. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I almost didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend!

Glamping cabin was cool to experience. We came for new years and the cabin was very close to the beach and downtown Carmel with all the shops and restaurants. The A/C and heater worked great during the night to keep the cabin nice and warm. Check in was smooth and check out was smooth as well. Bed was comfy and space was very clean.

I had such a wonderful weekend here. My dog and I traveled up from San Francisco to relax in nature and we had the best time. Sandy was so kind and the location is beautiful. The heated mattress was perfect on a chilly night. Will definitely be staying here again, thanks Sandy!
