Welcome to my earth bag home located 25 minutes outside of the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The house sits on 100 acres with 360 degree views of mountains, mesas, pinnacles, spires, and buttes. There are walking trails throughout the property. Good luck finding another home with a as much love put into it! If the Earthbag home is booked I have a home called “Rammed Earth” over the hill that is a work of art. For some reason with online algorithms this home is not showing up as often.

This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!

We spent two relaxing weeks here in late March-early April. Spectacular location just north of Taos. Peaceful, spacious and clean with everything we needed. The house is very well cared for. Views of the Sangre de Christo mountains and lots of natural light. Decor is comfortable and beautiful. Responsive host. We would definitely recommend this house to friends and would be delighted to stay here again on our next visit to Taos.

This is a quiet, comfortable home in a lovely setting on the llano NW of Taos. The earthship architecture is cool and functional. I spent evenings on the patio, went for long walks out through the sagebrush, took photos of the moon rising above Wheeler Peak, listened to music on the excellent stereo system, read a couple hundred pages in a couple of books, prepared meals in the well-equipped kitchen and slept soundly in the comfy bed. Nice place. Highly recommended.

Our stay at the Wonderhaus was amazing! What a beautiful and unique home! The property surrounding the home was beautiful and we enjoyed our time sitting outside, walking the property and soaking in the views from the tower. The location was peaceful and quiet with only a quick drive into town to visit the hot springs and local restaurants. Black Bart’s Brunch was our favorite! Check it out during your stay for the best chicken and waffles! Thank you Wonderhaus for a great stay!

Great kitchen, good combination of common areas for the whole group to be together plus separate areas for alone time. Sandra was very responsive and a great host. This place is an absolute gem. The serenity of the surroundings, the view, and the hospitality of Two Casitas to leave a personalized note and are package upon entry was such a nice touch. It is 10 minutes into Santa Fe, but at night there is literally zero sound and great stargazing from the jacuzzi. Would 10/10 recommend and will forsure be coming back!

Beautiful location in a very uniquely designed and decorated Airbnb. Cell service goes in and out, so helpful to have printed directions, especially if arriving after dark (don’t rely solely on your GPS). Otherwise, a relaxing and peaceful getaway. Really enjoyed the sauna and the fire pit. Thanks to whomever cut and stacked all that firewood for guest use!

Such a cute and wonderful place to stay! Our visit was brief but really wish we had more time to take it all in and explore. The hobbit home is so cozy and feels like it jumped out of a book. Not to mention inspiring they built it all by hand. Loved the colors of the bottle wall in the morning and saying hello to all the chickens!
