We stayed between Christmas and New Year with family and the house was well equipped and we felt instantly at home, there were lovely touches including Christmas decorations up. Brixham town is less than 5 minutes walk away and there are lovely coastal walks less than 15 mins away, would love to stay again!

Stayed at the house for New Year with our family of 4 children aged between 4 and 15.. Perfect location, within walking distance to sea front and all local amenities. The house had everything we needed and catered for all ages! Stuart was very helpful from the moment we booked and was able to recommend things to do for New Year’s Eve! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Another great stay at Gull’s Cry. A beautiful area, even out of season. Property has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a well equipped kitchen.

The Sidings is a peaceful small estate, well positioned for easy access to Brixham, nearby beaches and plenty of good places to eat. Jason's house was spotless, warm and very comfortable with everything needed for a smooth and stress free stay. Jason himself was an excellent host, respecting our privacy but responding to any queries promptly and in a friendly manner. Highly recommended, excellent value and would definitely stay again on future visits to the area. Also very dog friendly if that is a consideration for you !

Gorgeously quirky cottage built into the hill. Perfect for a couple. Short walk to harbour, costal paths and Berry Head. Enclosed spaces in front and back of home but neighbours can access through the small gates to get to their own properties so dogs would need supervision. Back garden terrace gets sunshine. Seating options available. Upstairs utility room good on wet weather days for raincoats and boots. Parking nearby on road behind property accessible through back gate.

Fantastic place managed by a fantastic host. Kelly was always on hand to respond to any questions prior to arrival. There was no need to reach out to Kelly during our stay as everything was as promised. The house also included special touches such as towels for wet dogs. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I highly recommend Angela’s place in Brixton! I stayed with my sisters and our families (12 in total) in October half term and we had an amazing time. The house is fantastic—spacious (plenty of room for us all) and beautifully equipped with a great games room that kept everyone entertained. We didn’t even feel the need to leave, but when we did, we discovered that Brixton’s restaurants and nearby coves were wonderful. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and exploration! Thank you Angela we will be back!

We stayed for 1 night but wished we had longer. A lovely modern and clean place. The childrens play park was directly opposite meaning we could see our 5 year old at all times from the living room window and gave him his own independence. Beautiful location with fantastic coastal views just a 2 minute walk away. Very close to the steam train track which we all loved watching the train go by. We would love to return and definitely recommend

What a lovely homely caravan !. Maxine has provided everything you would need for a great stay. loads of crockery and cutlery and essentials . Games, books and dvds to keep us entertained . And a lovely welcome pack to help start our holiday off after a long drive from the North. We had a fab time visiting relatives and Maxine is a lovely host . 👍

Berry cottage; our Christmas miracle. It is very comfortable and cosy with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, we even booked an extra 2 nights.

We had a lovely stay at Lesley's lodge - the holiday park was really well laid out with great facilities. We were there with our grandson and family dogs and it was good that there was a huge exercise space for the dogs to let of steam, and the provision for the little one was great too. The caravan itself was spacious, very clean and well equipped and we instantly felt at home. Lesley was great to liaise with, always helpful and replying really quickly to any queries we had leading up to our stay. Thank you :)

Very spacious lounge/kitchen area with an homely and comfortable feel. It was exactly as expected, the main bedroom was also spacious with lots of storage space, however the second bedroom was good for children but a bit small for adults as my brothers legs were hanging out at the end of the bed. The only other minor things were that the sun did not shine on the balcony due to other caravans/trees etc, but it could have been due to time of year (last 2 weeks of September) as we did have sunny weather for time of year but it didn't reach the balcony. Additionally the road was behind where the bedrooms were so you did get road noise quite late at night.

Home from home, excellent location, shall visit again

What a wonderful way to spend Christmas! Beautiful house and outstanding location, perfect for long walks to recharge. We walked to Dartmouth on Christmas Eve, catching the ferry back to Dittisham and a chance to see the many seals close up, resting on the pontoon by the pier. The Ferry Inn was packed with friendly locals after our Christmas dip at Blackpool Sands. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and serve a full Christmas dinner for the family. A perfect holiday - thank you.

The Garden retreat is a fantastic place to stay in Brixham approx 5 minutes down the steep steps and streets and you are on the quayside.Excellent facilities and Moira is a great host.Ideal for our family of 3 and small dog.Would be lovely to sit outside in the private garden in the summer.Parking space also a bonus.

I’ve been a regular visitor to Brixham for 6 years, since my ex wife and 2 daughters moved there from London. Lesley and her property this week became the very best place we’ve stayed in all that time. The property itself is absolutely lovely, a great garden too, perfect parking etc. What has put this particular Airbnb to number one in my mind is of course all the above but not that alone. Lesley the host really takes the most amazing care with the most wonderful touches. I’m not going to list all the things Lesley done for us as I don’t want to set the bar too high for her in the future. That said Lesley went so far out of her way for us, she left things for my whole family, including our dog! Amazing. I was there with my son, my 2 daughters, my mum and our dog, we had the best stay ever. The property itself is also totally first class, extremely well equipped, beautifully presented and totally deserving of 5 stars. Thank you so much Lesley for a really great stay.

Great hosts and lovely home in a great location, easy enough to walk into the town. (the hill isn't as steep as it looks) So spacious and very comfortable rooms! Lovely welcome pack and essentials, my son made full use of the hot chocolates! as did I, with the prosecco! It was a lovely place to spend New Year.

We stayed at Stephen’s place for 2 nights and it was perfect for us. Very clean and tidy, felt very easy to get comfortable. Would 100% stay again. Great host.

I booked this accommodation for a 2 night stay with my little dog. We arrived slightly early and the host was more than happy for me to check in when I arrived. The instructions on how to get into the accommodation are very clear and the hosts came and introduced themselves as I was unloading my car which is a nice little touch to meet them in person. The accommodation is lovely, the annex has everything you would need for a short stay. The garden is very private and was perfect for the dog to have some space to roam around along with some seating for when the weathers nice. I would definitely book this accommodation again :)

It was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and I was warm. I liked tge little shop in the bathroom a good idea. Charging cable for phone good. It was akso very quiet.

Sue's place was a beautiful place for a couple of nights, it was quirky in its style, and really showed Sue's unique style and her creative expertise, it also gave us a lovely insight into her passion for travel and the outdoors. The studio was beautifully equipped, with everything we needed, and the special little touches of handmade fudge, organic apple juice in the fridge were much appreciated. The sky lights in the bedroom allowing beautiful views of the stars were magical too. Sue was friendly, helpful and informative without being intrusive. we absolutely loved our short stay at Sue's place and would highly recommend it.
