Vacation rentals with lake access in Torbay

The Old Bakehouse is beautiful home in a stunning location. Early family Christmas gathering for 3 generations! Plenty of space, and home from home feel. Natalie was super helpful and the communication was excellent.

Fantastic place! 30 min walk to Slapton Sands or a short 15 min drive to the beautiful Blackpool sands. There are 2 pubs a 5 min walk from the bunkhouse. Although neither could fit in our group of 23! The instruction booklet was easy to understand in terms of how to use the kitchen etc... The bunks were actually really comfortable (I'm a 46yr old female). A few of the rooms are ensuite but there's plenty of showers and toilets. Towels aren't included but bedding, washing up stuff, tea towels and toilet rolls were. Definitely a step up from camping and perfect for groups of families!

Beautiful, beautiful house. Really well equipped. Lovely level of finish and decor in the house - very, very tastefully done. We all couldn't stop saying throughout our stay just how nicely done everything was! Bedding was a highlight! The surrounding area is fantastic with great beaches. Very short drive into Dartmouth with good-sized sainsburys. We all had a lovely stay and would love to come again! Thanks ever so much

Great location, spacious home with lots of natural light. Kitchen is highly usable with lots of room for group cooking. Town is incredibly accessible and so is parking lot close to property. Overall great experience.

Really well appointed house with lots of little details that made it feel homely. Easy walking distance to the town and seafront. Dog friendly in the truest sense with beds, bowls and blankets. As well as feeling able to let dog wander without worrying. Very small courtyard garden with no grass if your dog is fussy like mine! Parking permit is great but complicated. Full disclaimer that this was verbally given, but spoke with the parking officer one morning who was so helpful. Long stay you can leave your car with the permit for over the designated 24hrs. Sundays you can park all day in a short stay with the permit. However do read the instructions closely as to which car parks are included! You can load and unload outside the property as it is a very quiet road. Can def recommend Mickeys on the seafront owned by celebrity chef Micheal Caines. The creamery ice cream parlour on the front is a must too!

Really impressed with Briony and her beautiful Air B n B. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Place was spotless, comfortable beds and beautiful surroundings. Briony was super helpful and very responsive. We will be booking again for the future and I would like to make a booking for my parents to visit. Thank you!!!

Lovely apartment real happy when we arrived. So huge. Location beautiful. Just the perfect holiday. Enough pubs around that served great food. Can’t fault apartment. Will definitely use again when in area. Thankyou.

Great little find and a perfect short stay for mature students on block weeks. Comfy bed, very quiet with beautiful view from window onto an old apple tree in the garden. It was very handy to be able to cook meals to save money too. Very good communication and easy check in/out. I will be booking to stay again. Thanks Jeff.

Great property, easy to find and perfect for a 1-2 guests. Jane was friendly and easy to contact. Parking right outside which was a huge plus for us. There was an extra internal door which we assume would link directly to Jane’s property or another airbnb which was locked - this wasn’t listed however, the property still felt secure. Just something for guests to be aware of. Thanks for a great stay - would recommend for anyone wanting to be in close proximity to Newton Abbot.

Staying here was a real delight. Very close to marina, didn't need to get back in the car the whole time we were here. very nicely decorated apartment, very friendly and understanding hosts. can't wait to come again.

Beautiful flat ideally situated on Torquay cliffs - which means a fun 5-minute hike up and down the paths for the beach. The flat is decorated with nautical theme and is super comfortable, quiet, peaceful. We had everything we needed from soaps and dishwasher tabs to towels and gowns. Would stay here again.

Lovely loft conversion. Spotless, well equipped and very helpful and accommodating hosts. Looking forward to another visit.

We were met at check in and given a tour of the grounds and the main house. We were able to use the games facilities in the main house at any time. House had everything (except a cork screw for wine :-) ) you would need, was clean and well presented. It had plenty of room and the grounds were stunning! Great to get out and enjoy the surroundings. Thank you so much for allowing us to come to your property it was a perfect place for us as a family to come and visit. We may well be back again in the future!

We had a very special week in beautiful location . Sea at a stones throw from cottage . Friendly pub nearby . The house was impeccably clean and very cosy . We had everything we needed . Great fishing spot too.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hayloft which is situated in a very peaceful rural setting. The accommodation had everything you could need and was immaculately presented. Also it was very homely. Loved the ducks and chickens.

Perfect location for us with what we had on. Really cosy yet spacious. Immaculately decorated and clean. Everything we needed. Really friendly and responsive host. Flexible and helpful. Lovely animals too. No complaints at all!

We stayed at Nicholas' place last week, and words truly can’t capture how wonderful our experience was. Although we arrived late on the first day, from the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by Nick and his two lovely children. They immediately made us feel right at home. The pictures of the property don’t do it justice. It has been lovingly restored, with every detail thoughtfully considered to create a peaceful and homely retreat at the end of each day. The grounds are a slice of tranquility, providing the perfect place to reset and relax. You’re also spoilt for choice with several local beaches just a stone’s throw away. The highlight of our stay was the hospitality and friendly environment that Nick and his family provided. From late nights on the trampoline to roasting s’mores by the fire, our daughter loved every minute of getting to know the children and we can’t wait to come back next year.

We had a great week staying at Gate House West. Our 2 year old grandson loved it. The indoor pool was the stand out success....simple booking system and everyone stuck to their time slot. Loads of wild life around the estate .... absolutely beautiful.

We stayed for one week in September and we loved the cottage and the area. The cottage was spotless and very well equipped, very comfy beds and good size smart TV (you can sign in to). Wood burner in the lounge and a supply of logs. Easy parking. Lovely little sun trap at the back in the pretty garden. We and our dogs loved the fact that we could easily walk to and along the river and although we didn't manage to spot the beavers we enjoyed looking for them. Beautiful walk down the river to Budleigh Salterton. It was a bonus having the Otterton Mill on our door step and we enjoyed a very good Sunday lunch at the Sir Walter Raleigh pub in East Budleigh. Would recommend and would love to return.
