Retro styled central town flat near park & beaches

Exposed brick feature walls, stainless kitchen units and oak floors make this flat stand out for style with deckchairs situated in a south facing sun trap. Great access to all transport hubs, town, pubs and less than a mile through a park are beaches & coastline walks. **The sofa bed is in keeping with the retro theme of the flat. With that in mind, it is not a modern full size sofa bed. It's probably more suited to young kids and a single adult and ideally not someone that is 6ft** No TV.

Little Barn's in the busy bustling village of Marldon. Set on the border of the South Hams and Torbay, there are two Local pubs, a convenience store a post office and a garage. My cottage is set in a quiet road within a pretty village surrounded by countryside yet only 5 minutes drive to the main Devon Expressway with links to Torquay (4 miles) Newton Abbot (2 miles) Totnes (9 miles) and Exeter (16 miles). I am offering a sunny double room with views to the open countryside. and a large light shared bathroom with shower bath which is cleaned daily. We highly recommend Mij & Aidan's BnB. They were incredibly generous hosts. On the day of check-in, I arrived early and they kindly offered me a quiet and sunny spot in their delightful breakfast room, along with a cup of coffee to work. Our group of 11 was staying for a wedding, and they made sure we had an excellent breakfast each morning and provided us with recommendations for local taxis. The rooms were all clean and comfortable. Moreover, the BnB is situated in a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk from a beautiful beach and a great local restaurant called Cantina.

Pristine place. Very roomy. Soft comfy bed which was immaculate. Flexible check in. Responsive. Friendly hosts :-) Was able to use the ev charging at a fair price arranged directly. Great shower. Very worry quiet location. Excellent amenities a very short walk. Definitely worth a stay :-)

I am unsure there is enough space for us to gush about our stay as much as we would like to - although, it was such an exceptional stay, that perhaps words alone would not be fit to articulate it. Our time at the B&B was brilliant - we arrived with very little planned, but in our first meeting with Gary we were able to quickly fill our weekend with lovely things to do from their recommendations. With every recommendation we followed, we knew we would come back one day to experience the B&B for longer, to explore the area more. We were pretty awestruck with the building and the garden (and the most wonderful dogs!), and the brilliantly decorated rooms, but the little things added so much more to the stay - the complementary breakfast, the conversations and catch ups with Phil and Gary , and the relaxed environment. All these things solidified that we needed to come back and stay again. The value is exceptional, the hosts are superb. Perfect.

As guests in Shelagh’s house, you will be warmly welcomed and feel at home. The double bedroom with comfy mattress, offers kettle with coffee, and also a little TV, which was unexpected. Your dedicated bathroom immediately opposite is ideal, with towels and soap there to use with the hot shower and/or bath. Adjacent, the kitchen/diner is perfectly placed for cereals, fruit, toast, and even fresh breakfast eggs from the resident hens. Buddy the dog, as others have noted, asserts himself on your arrival, but is soon very friendly and quite used to guests. Outside, there’s a garden that you can sit in if desired, but one of the main plusses here is the private off road parking space available. There is nothing bad to report here… Thanks, Shelagh, it was a pleasure to stay with you, and must HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What a fabulous place to stay lovely clean room own bathroom and a terrace with the most amazing views, the host Joy lives up to her name very friendly and helpful and has lots of local knowledge of places to visit and places to eat and drink. We were made to feel very welcome and felt at ease immediately soon felt like we had know her for years. Nellie the little dog is lovely and loves to play tug of war with her toys! The location is perfect for exploring the local area safe parking and access in and of the property is very straightforward. You will not be disappointed staying here we couldn't fault it and would gladly stay again. Neil and Linda xx

Just returned from Robins Hill hotel in Torquay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom family suite (3 adults + a dog) and it was fantastic for a 1 night stay as we travelled North from Cornwall. Rooms were very clean, with fresh towels and comfy beds. Erica and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to please, even giving us all a small gift on departure to remind us of our stay. Cooked breakfast was spot on and it was nice to find a dog friendly hotel in the Torbay area. We would not hesitate staying at Erica's place, next time we are in the area. Thank you Erica.
