Beautifully tranquil, secluded spot with lovely amenities for a Shepherds hut. Peter was extremely helpful when our maps were playing up, locating us and escorting us to the parking area. Fantastic views and a really cosy hideaway, with a fantastic host ready to assist if needed. Thanks a lot, Peter!

We immediately felt at home in this peaceful, cosy lodge. Larger and warmer than expected with feather pillows, duvets and good quality bed linen. Great location to explore this beautiful part of Devon with stunning Bantham beach and a good pub within walking distance. The hot tub is a nice incentive for the walk back uphill. Totally relaxing break and we hope to return again soon, thank you Tim!

This place and location is stunning. Impossible to have a bad time here! As long as you’re ok with the walk down the steps, it’s highly recommended. Hope to come back many times!

Me and my partner had the loveliest most relaxing stay at your cabin! It had everything we needed and the hot tub is a great touch. The area is absolutely beautiful with many country walks around, we will definitely be back in summer! Thank you for the great stay :) x

We had a lovely stay here at Greenacres- such a peaceful place and loved waking up with a cup of tea overlooking two Shetland ponies and the sheep each morning. The view from the railway carriage was beautiful, overlooking rolling hills of green fields. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and let us say hello to their goats! The accommodation was clean, comfortable and provided a secure area for our dog. The hot tub was pre-heated and ready to use on arrival. The accommodation is close to Lyme Regis and had a great Sunday roast at Shaves Cross just a 10 min drive away. We also enjoyed a long dog walk doing a loop called The Holloway, followed by a drink at the Ilchester Arms with an open fire. The perfect little country weekend getaway- highly recommend.

Go ahead and book it! The most beautiful setting and a fabulous lodge. Hosts are very responsive and even left us a bottle of bubbles and a personal card on arrival. My wife and I had a great stay and would fully recommend if you are looking to unplug. We very much enjoyed the pre-mapped walk, taking in the surrounding woodlands and small village for food and drinks. Having the woodfire hottub was a nice touch, especially as Helen kindly started it up before we arrived back from the walk. A really good experience and something very differnet to a hotel room or b&b.

Just returned from a few days at the Bunkhouse. We had a great time start to finish. Jill kept in touch, making checkin and out very straightforward. The accomodation was clean and tidy and everything was as expected. The location was great for exploring the north Devon area, and it was so peaceful. We also enjoyed some star gazing, being away from town lights, the views were spectacular. We also enjoyed meeting the donkeys, who were very friendly. for shopping there is a Sainsburys at Bude, not too far away. We also tried the local Inn at Bradworthy, great food and reasonably priced. All in all this is a great place to visit, we would recommend to others and will visit again in the future 🙂

Great hosts. The accomodation was better than expected. Very clean and bedding smelt clean and fresh. The location was perfect. A walk across the road onto the beach with a great cafe. A quick drive from beaches and perfect for kids and fossil hunting. The bungalow was very private and the dog loved the garden. We made the most of the board games in the evening and would definitely come back. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There were fresh scones on arrival which was such a lovely surprise. The dog also had his own treat, along with bowl and blanket The instructions were clear and we felt that all the small touches made us feel very comfortable. We would definitely consider coming back again! 😊

What a great find! The Log Cabin was a perfect base for the pair of us exploring Devon. After busy days on the coast or in Dartmoor, it was great to BBQ in the big garden, watching evening fall and the swallows dart about. It’s compact but doesn’t feel like that owing to Belinda’s clever use of space and décor. The pictures are accurate. Whatever space you’re in feels spacious and even sumptuous. I could be in the kitchen happily doing my thing while my partner lounged in the pleasant living room. Belinda is a great host, very helpful, coming to our rescue several times. We look forward to returning.

We had a fantastic time at Dean and Michelle's cabin. Exactly as described, very clean and private. Totally secure for our dog. Bude is lovely and so many great places to see and to eat also. Super friendly hosts and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Id highly recommend staying here! A very unique place to stay, the cabin itself and the garden it’s in is really beautiful. It feels very private. All the details inside have been really thought about, and has everything we needed. It’s felt so relaxing and luxurious. There are so many nice touches everywhere such as the stoneware, and bed linen. The outdoor shower made us feel a lot more connected with nature each morning, and the outdoor hot bathtub after we’d built a good fire was lovely after such a long drive. Kitchen has all the things you’d need, and as a bit of a coffee person having a v60 and filters in the cupboard was a really nice touch. The local farm eggs were a real treat! We utilised the communal barn as well (again a very well thought out space), which has a big oven etc. We really loved it here. Many thanks again to Henry and Ania, we can’t wait to come back!

Tom was really helpful and friendly. The cabin was so cosy in beautiful surroundings. Easily accessible from the motorway (10mins away) yet so peaceful and felt like we were far out in the country. Would highly recommend. Flexible check in and check out was really appreciated too!

We really enjoyed this beautiful wooden cabin. It was warm, cosy and quiet and just what we needed for a retreat weekend away from our busy lives. The location was stunning, set within a forest with gorgeous views over the devonshire countryside. Thank you to our host for a wonderful experience. We hope to come back again one day.

We had a great time staying at the cabin. It's in a very peaceful location, it's very clean and has everything you need for a lovely break away. The cream tea was a lovely touch as well.
