Spent the weekend here with my fiancé for her 30th and a friend's wedding, simply amazing. Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay in the country. Also very private, didn't see a soul other than deer, pheasants and rabbits the whole time at the place. Tom was also very responsive and helpful. Instructions very clear and in depth. Would recommend and we'll hopefully be back.

Friendly hosts and lovely views, really pleasant stay if you plan to stay a night. Would recommend longer as the drive in isn’t really suitable for small cars, but for one night was a very peaceful, pleasant experience.

My partner and I stayed here 14th-17th April 2025. We wanted to get away for a few days, somewhere quiet and secluded where we could relax and recharge. And the place did just that. Beautiful surroundings. Frankie and Jonathan were very lovely, welcoming and friendly, always on hand should we have needed them. Even had to ask if they had paracetamol one evening, and they brought it over for us, thank you. The cabin itself was gorgeous, and the hot tub was divine, and they had it ready for us every evening. Everything was catered for, tea, coffee, cereals etc. We will definitely be coming back for if you’ll have us. 10/10.

We had a wonderfully relaxing staycation at The Cabin at Highfield Park for a few days. There was a surprise birthday/welcome bag for my wife Nenette which was a very thoughtful touch- it made her birthday week feel extra special, especially with the added goodies for our wee furrbaby, Rosie! The hot tub was perfect for unwinding, and the whole experience was simply fabulous. The place made us feel like we're just right at home. We truly had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

Stayed at this cozy cabin set in a peaceful place and great for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight, especially in the evenings, and the BBQ made for easy outdoor meals. Perfect spot to unwind and disconnect.

The place was amazing! Nothing else could have made it better at all, it had everything we needed. The interior was perfect along with the natural light from the skylight windows. The views from the hot-tub were a nice touch and it is a place worth the visit. The host greeted us as soon as we came and was extremely helpful and welcoming! Definitely recommend this place!

A spotlessly clean cabin in a beautiful location. Photos are accurate of what to expect, a home from home with a hot tub and morning visits from squirrels! A short drive from otterburn and other local villages. Set in beautiful surroundings and not overlooked by other holiday makers. 10/10, we will be coming again!!

This was my partner and I second time staying at Troy's lodge. The whole lodge it self was exactly like the photos posted on Airbnb. The lodge was super clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding was peaceful and beautiful. Troy was a great host. He gave us very clear instructions and made the whole experience easy. We love this place. Will definitely be coming back again as this has became our go to place!

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

We loved our stay. The bed was so comfortable and we had a lovely time walking around the castle and enjoying the hot tub. Sharon’s instructions for driving in were spot on. The fields around the area are gorgeous with so many little lambs. Lovely hosts and Sharon’s marmalade was amazing!

Claire and the cabin were very welcoming, with lots of small details to make sure the dog was welcome too. it was lovely to have some recommendations from Claire and we had a lovely break!

We had an incredible couple of nights at Ash Cabin. The cabin had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Amazing scenery and peaceful surroundings. A highlight of our stay was sitting out on the deck with a book and a cup of tea, listening to the sheep and the birds. Would highly recommend!

Lovely, cosy, spotlessly clean and comfortable wee cabin with everything you might need to have a good break. The location is perfect for visiting all the local attractions and Chris made some excellent suggestions and gave good advice about local amenities, including parking, etc which enhanced our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This is our second time back at Amanda’s cabin, just as the first time it was incredibly clean, super cozy and just a lovely place to stay! The cabin was spotless from head to toe and had all we needed to cook and keep the cabin clean. Instructions to access the cabin were super clear and it was easy to find, it’s so private and calm and would be a lovely place for anyone with dogs! The little welcome basket was so sweet and the coffee pods were lovely! We cannot fault Amanda’s cabin, thank you for having us!🥰 xxx

We had a lovely few days at Sue Hut and really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotless, nicely prepared for our arrival, and felt so welcoming. We were greeted with complimentary milk and water, and there were even treats waiting for our pup—which was such a thoughtful touch. The hut had everything we needed, including dog bowls and soft, clean sleeping blankets for our furry friend. The cozy decorations throughout the space made it feel warm and homely, and everything smelled fresh and inviting. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into hosting here. We felt really well looked after and would happily come back!

Enjoyed our stay at vale of york and found the accommodation very pleasant. Location is a short drive from the centre of York and not too expensive for taxis.

This property exceeded my expectations. Located in such a peaceful setting amongst the trees the cabin was so warm and cosy had everything we needed. In walking distance to the village had a lovely meal at the clockhouse gorgeous food! Will definitely come stay here again!

Me and my boyfriend had a beautiful Easter break at the Orchard Retreat! Such a well kept cabin that is perfectly isolated but only a short walk from Saunsdersfoot and short drive from Tenby. The outdoor bath was such a treat and we really enjoyed the personal touches. Richard was a very friendly host and super approachable! We did not want to leave and will 100% be back in the future 🥰.

The place was peaceful and much bigger than we expected. The jacuzzi was the cherry on the cake, and we loved every minute. Even though there was a slight issue with an unexpected security deposit once we checked with AirB&B the hosts didn’t try to ask for it in the end anyway and everyone was friendly and left us to our privacy. A magical fairytale. The cabin , the grounds, the wildlife, all spectacular . So peaceful , the woods blooming with bluebells, deer grazing outside the cabin, heron and birds of prey flying above, bats at night. Lighting the log fire made it so nice and cosy. It’s amazing that being off grid with no distractions like a tv or Mobil gets you back into just being and properly interacting with each other . Reading a book, playing board games, sitting on the decking and just watching and listening to the wildlife, going for a long walk in the grounds and noticing the beauty of all the trees, flowers, the streams and the lake. Utterly amazing and left feeling revived and ready for the world again.

We had a fabulous stay at the cabin. It’s so homely,clean and has everything you need and more. Laurence and Annette are perfect hosts and communicated everything really well whether it be info about the cabin or giving advice about the activities on the site. A perfect peaceful setting with beautiful forest walks literally from the garden gate! We would love to return!

Rachel was a great host. Brilliant communication and clear instructions for check in. the cabin was just as described and perfect for our family of four plus pooch. Quiet, warm and cosy...comfy sofa and nice non-stick pots and pans :) Doggy welcome pack was a lovely touch! The holiday village as a wider environment is a clean and peaceful place, play park for the kids and lovely local walks. Site shop is great for emergency essentials. Shame the pub at the top of the hill burned down..I remember it as a kid when I came to the Lodges...hopefully it will be rebuilt one day! Cafe looked great, we didn't manage to go in to eat but a brilliant view from the decking :) Thank you Rachel, we really enjoyed our stay! ;)

From start to finish Rebecca was a great host for a great stay. Rebecca provides plenty of extras if needed, such as birthday decorations, food hampers, etc. The photos of this cute little pod do not do it justice. Everything you could need for a lovely little getaway. Instructions were given on how to work everything and if something needed clarification Rebecca was always a message away to rectify. Comfy beds and comfy sofas with spectacular views of the North York Moors in front of you. I will definitely be visiting this place again. Thank you Rebecca !!!
