Cottage in Bawsey
4.8 out of 5 average rating, 295 reviewsForestry Cottage. Hot tub, open fire, dog friendly
What a perfect get away for outdoor types, children and furry family...all made welcome. Fabulous setting with the forest and lake literally on the doorstep, and a lovely hot tub to enjoy. The cottage was perfect with a huge lounge and so warm even in the winter with their beast of an aga on full time, and what a treat to cook on ! We absolutely loved our stay, lights on and music as we arrived and plenty of welcoming treats to greet us on a dark winter afternoon, but the message to arrive early if we wanted because everything was ready was lovely. Thank you Stephen and Amber ...its a gem !

Garden cottage is easy to find, and absolutely beautiful, situated in a peaceful rural setting. There is plenty of accessible parking & I was greeted by Jill immediately upon arrival. The cottage itself had everything I needed, was super clean & comfy, and I had a lovely few days there. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend.

David was an outstanding host—responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Everything about our stay was flawless. The property itself is enchanting, with a serene and peaceful atmosphere that made for a perfect getaway. The walking trails around the pumphouse were delightful, adding to the charm of the location. The kitchen was a dream for anyone serious about cooking; we prepared some complex meals with ease, thanks to the well-equipped facilities. Our group of 10 found the space more than comfortable—it was thoughtfully designed for gatherings of this size. The Barn is an amazing property, that is deceptively big. We had a great time and lots of space for the dogs to run around, despite the awful weather. We made use of the hot tub and games room, and Helen was a wonderful host. We will definitely be back for another trip.

Chalet in Somersham
4.81 out of 5 average rating, 205 reviewsMilestone House
Perfect hosts who made us and our dog feel welcome from the outset. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Wonderful open views at the back of the property where we spotted owls, deer and pheasants. The house was very well equipped with everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. Comfy cosy beds and lovely big lounge area to kick back and watch telly or read. Very pet friendly with field at the back for dog to have a walk and a sniff. Everything you could need for either a quiet weekend break or a longer stay. We spent a month at the house and it just flew by. Would definitely want to stay again , village just a mile or so up the road where there is a great selection of small independent shops, a garage and a Nature reserve. It was a perfect break for us , lovely spot, wonderful house and perfect hosts!

What a lovely, cosy cottage. It was beautifully presented with fresh flowers, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome cake, Prosecco and milk were really thoughtful touches and gratefully received. Communication from our hosts was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dog Cottage and can’t wait to visit again.

Bungalow in Ditchingham
4.94 out of 5 average rating, 314 reviewsStylish dog-friendly rural haven–Hollow Hill Annex
This property is situated in a quiet rural position over looking fields, in a quiet narrow lane. The interior is nicely furnished with furniture from a bygone age but is tastefully done and perfectly functional, it is warm and cosy and has possibly the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever rented from Airbnb. Its clean and has comfortable beds, there is decent toilet paper, sharp knives in the kitchen and ice in the freezer which are high on our check list. Logs for the burner are also provided throughout your stay, something that others host could learn from, although we hardly used it as we were warm enough despite it being a chilly January week. Chris and Melissa are quick to respond, live on site and are very responsive to any issues and queries.

Cottage in Happisburgh, Norwich
4.92 out of 5 average rating, 207 reviewsAlbion Cottage, a Seaside Victorian Gem
Albion cottage was perfect for a winter break for myself, husband and labradoodle Hugo. Walks straight from the door - Happisburgh circular walk, beach and lighthouse. Short drive to Horsey Gap to see the seals in molt, walks through the Broads and to national trust properties. Less than 5 minutes walk to the local pub for great food and beer. The cottage is lovely from the fabulous William Morris décor to the cosy open fire. Well equipped with everything we needed. Liz gave clear instructions for arrival and good tips for where to go in January. Also loved the eco conscious sustainable products within the cottage.

Home in Suffolk

This was the second time we have stayed as a family at Graham's house when visiting Suffolk, and it was just as comfortable and welcoming as the first time. Graham was a great host who was able to accommodate our requested dates and offered a flexible check-in. The house is really well equipped and clean and in a lovely location with a lot of character. The beds are very comfy too, and we really valued the treats on arrival to toast the New Year - thank you so much - would highly recommend staying here!

What an amazing place Shepley House is! We had a great family time and enjoyed the place very much. The attention to details is lovely (hamper on arrival with card, dog towels, wood for the burner, everything you can think about and need in the kitchen!). The garden and woods are beautiful and the whole place has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We had few questions during our stay and the communication was quick and helpful. Thank you so much to the Shepley team, we made some great memories to cherish! We recommend this place with no hesitation!

Barn in Norfolk
4.72 out of 5 average rating, 253 reviewsSpacious Medieval Barn in North Norfolk
The house was fabulous. Plenty of space for our families to spend time together but not be in each others faces. The entire place was perfect for us! Only downside (if you can even call it that!) was that the tv in the main lounge was not a smart TV and we only had access to free view! However there was a range of DVDs available, some of which didn’t work very well though! The hot tub was FANTASTIC!!! Well worth the price we paid for the visit.

We absolutely loved our stay in Augusta Dreams, absolutely beautiful lodge, set in an idylic spot overlooking the lake and golf course! We arrived on the friday to a welcome bottle of bubbly in the fridge, we cooked in the lodge that evening and our friends arrived on the Saturday, we had breakfast in the lodge and ate out at The Barn and The Dabbling Duck for the other 2 evenings very lovely, we visited Worzals Garden Centre, Bar and Grill on the Monday and the boys played golf as the course was shut over the weekend due to the weather!! Our friends were just as impressed with the lodge and vista!! Everything we needed was catered for!! The lodge is incredibly spacious, private and very tranquil, even during "Storm Bert", we barely noticed the wind for most of the stay, only the strong gusts were noticeble really!! Marc was very quick in responding to any queries and sharing information!! Thanks again Marc, we look forward to another stay soon!! Nikki, Bri, Kay and Paul from Essex.

Cottage in Stanningfield
4.95 out of 5 average rating, 164 reviewsCoach House - minimalist, functional accomodation
We had a lovely weekend at The Coach House. Really wonderful. It is a perfect quiet rural retreat, with great facilities and a good circular walk. The accommodation was lovely. Cosy, rustic and lots of character but with modern touches. The bedrooms were great, the bath is a lovely addition. Katy was a helpful and responsive host. We were four adults and it was the perfect size for us. We could cook and socialise easily. We used the tennis courts and pool. The pool was excellent. The host showed us how it was all set up and we made good use of the space and the speaker, which is a nice touch. The only thing that would add to the accommodation would be a small kick stall for the kitchen as some of the cupboards are very high, which is hard for someone like me who is only 5ft! We will be looking to rebook for sure.
