We stayed at the Lodge for my partners 50th birthday, chrissy and paul had displayed the balloons I sent and left us a bottle of prosecco on ice which was a lovely touch, lovely and peaceful place, great walks for the dogs, garden area was lovely, however didn't use really with it being January but we loved the hot tub, the log burner in the living room was put to good use and very cosy, will definitely be back or may try stiltz next time which is their other property, chrissy and paul were great hosts and answered any questions we had promptly, highly recommended

Our stay at Orchard Chalet was spectacular! Nestled in nature, it was the perfect retreat with exceptional hospitality. Thelma, our host, provided a detailed guide about local spots and even stocked the kitchen with essentials before our arrival. The chalet was private and peaceful, feeling secluded despite being in her family garden. The outdoor space was well-kept, and the cozy, rustic interior added to the charm. Thelma’s thoughtful recommendation of the Hartford Remembrance Service added a personal touch. I highly recommend Orchard Chalet for its beauty, comfort, and Thelma’s care. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a lovely peaceful stay here over new years with lots of beautiful coastal walks. Very cosy base for exploring a beautiful part of the country.

A great place to stay- it's a beautifully renovated yet wonderfully original wagon, that's comfortable and well appointed for any retreat. We really enjoyed the garden space to be amongst the fruits and vegetables and Bertie the horse! Wish we could've stayed longer! Overall just the tranquility we wanted. Thanks to Julia for being great and accommodating host.

Lovely three nights spent at the barn. Very cozy and warm. brilliant to be able to have our dogs there with a lovely walk on the doorstep and fabulous beaches the short drive away. Highly recommend – thank you Johanna

Beautiful place, extremely spacious and had everything needed for my family and myself. The Fresh bread and eggs provided were delicious. Claire was extremely helpful from the moment of booking. Wonderful stay and a bargain for what you get. Would 100% recommend!

This was a last minute booking, which was a good find. Exactly what you expect from staying in a 16th century cottage , very original but cosy. The cottage was extremely clean and warm, the host was very proactive any time I contacted her which helps during any stay. Enjoyed our stay would highly recommend if you are looking to relax and also visit picturesque villages. Would love to stay in the summer, so we will be back. Thank you for hosting us.

We had fantastic stay at Philip’s chalet. It has everything you need. The site is very peaceful and just a short walk to the sea front and village centre centre amenities. The beach hut was a real bonus on a sunny week. We spent most days there as a base. Philip was very responsive and helpful throughout Highly recommended and especially suited for little ones

Had a great stay. Wished we were feeling better though. Loved the tub but ran out of wood. Not a problem im sure it wood have been topped up if we asked

The Old Music Room is a perfect place to stay if you want some quiet and peaceful time. The place is exactly as you see in the photos, exactly as described, super easy to access, it's away from the very quiet main road, surrounded by nature, lots of natural light. There's quite a few books to choose from if you want to read, there's also a radio with a CD player and an auxiliar cable if you want to plug in your own device and listen to your music through the speakers. And Duca and Joe are top level hosts. Couldn't have asked for more. Will definitely come back soon.

Michelle is a fantastic host. She pulled out all the stops at extremely short notice for me and my little dog after the holiday accommodation I was staying in was no longer fit for purpose. The cottage was lovely and clean, well equipped and had everything you needed, including great quality toiletries. The Nepresso machine is a real bonus too. The mattress was a little too hard for my personal taste so maybe a topper would be beneficial for people who like a softer bed. However the bed linen and towels were top quality. The location was very quiet and great for walking and visiting local beaches. I would definitely recommend this property and will definitely book again when taking a break in this area.

We stayed one night while visiting the Aviation Museum in East Kirkby. Accommodation was to the highest standard, such a comfortable bed meant we had a great nights sleep. Camilla provided a breakfast buffet which was most welcome, we particularly enjoyed the fresh farm eggs. We would not hesitate to return to this place should the need to stay in this part of Lincolnshire arise again.

Such a lovely stay at Sally and Gary's little shack, which had everything we needed for a two night stay to enjoy the local walks with our dog. They were such great hosts. The local pub is brilliant (a proper, unpretentious old school boozer!) but bring a head torch and some reflective clothing if you're planning walking to it after dark. We'll definitely be back in the Sumner to enjoy the fire pit and sit under the stars. Thank you both x

We loved our stay at otters holt, we found so much to do locally , we had meals in oundle , Woodnewton , Elton, as well as at Rutland water , we visited Fotheringhay church and castle, fineshade woods , Elton , Rutland water, Stamford , oundle , on returning to the pods it was very calm, quiet and relaxing , the heating in the pod was amazing we were never cold, the pod was so well equipped and very comfortable, my 9yr son and dog loved staying here and didn’t want to come home, Amy was an excellent host and always replied super fast to any messages , this was my first experience of taking a break only an hr from home, we found so many places we will visit again , we loved our short break and highly recommend otters holt , thank you so much for having us xx

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was lovely ! We went to the local restaurant which was suggested to us by the hosts and also had a lovely meal there.

Beautiful high standard shepherds hut, even nicer than appears in the pictures. Great location to relax by the fire and take a walk to the local pub, we also visited the Norfolk broads and sandy beaches, perfect location for all!

Firstly I have to give credit to my partner for picking Martin's Bohemian Blue Hut for our short stay! There were a few properties that fitted the criteria but this one blew all the rest away! The hut itself was perfect for our short stay , in what it offered practically and also for it's immediate surroundings and location for trips out to the coast. We will be booking more stays at Martin's place in different seasons!

We wanted a quiet, relaxing and romantic countryside escape and that’s exactly what we got! The cabin was cosy and warm with the heaters. Outside the fairy lights are really cute and there was plenty of firewood. You can just about see other buildings but we felt lovely and secluded in our little area. Shower was good and hot, compost loo was well kept! Hannah was very friendly and responsive. Thanks so much for having us!

We wanted a quiet and peaceful way to see in the new year and this place was the perfect way to do just that. Easy to find, good instructions for everything, beautiful surroundings and the perfect amount of space for my husband, dog and I to fully relax and recover after a busy Christmas. Will definitely be recommending and hopefully returning ourselves this year! Thank you!

Helen's hut was exactly what I needed while in Cambridge. It was quiet, calm, peaceful. A great comfortale bed, bathroom and kitchen. Really nice decorations. Helen was lovely to speak to - both when booking and when checking in. It's a shame I didn't get to talk with her more. She provided local knowledge and just left me to myself - which was exactly what you need after long days in the office. I would definitely stay again if Helen would have me.

Perfect for what we needed, very nice little studio chalet. Very small, but all we needed for a couple of nights. Nice outside area which we would have used had it been in the summer. Wed come back for sure

Had a lovely couple of nights at the hideaway… peaceful and relaxing. Right on the north coast path. It was my birthday getaway and Carolyn had left me a thoughtful homemade card/picture. I would definitely stay here again 🥰 ooo and lovely treat in the fridge!
