We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Happy Valley in Norfolk, and I can’t recommend it enough! This charming little hut nestled in the forest was the perfect getaway. The location is simply stunning, surrounded by nature and tranquility, making it an ideal spot to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hut itself was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from cozy furnishings to kitchen essentials. I loved waking up to the sounds of the forest and enjoying my morning coffee on the porch. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventure in nature, Happy Valley is just perfect. I can’t wait to return!

Had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was perfect and very well designed. Lovely surroundings, was really nice having breakfast looking out to the meadow and seeing Iggy the horse, the goats and the chickens. Claire bought us a homemade loaf on arrival which was really nice. The log burner also gets really hot which was a good thing as my partner really feels the cold. Would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again next time I venture this way.

Firstly I have to give credit to my partner for picking Martin's Bohemian Blue Hut for our short stay! There were a few properties that fitted the criteria but this one blew all the rest away! The hut itself was perfect for our short stay , in what it offered practically and also for it's immediate surroundings and location for trips out to the coast. We will be booking more stays at Martin's place in different seasons!

We wanted a quiet and peaceful way to see in the new year and this place was the perfect way to do just that. Easy to find, good instructions for everything, beautiful surroundings and the perfect amount of space for my husband, dog and I to fully relax and recover after a busy Christmas. Will definitely be recommending and hopefully returning ourselves this year! Thank you!

This was a lovely getaway for my girlfriend’s 20th birthday, we both loved it. Will be back again at some point in the year :)

Beautiful location, unbelievably quiet, beautiful scenery. Followed the instructions to the hut which are spot on, definitely a wow from us when we went inside. Log burner available if it’s chilly at night. Decor is Pristine, lovey little touches here and there. Couldn’t fault anything lovey and clean, nice comfy bed and bedding, with little extras on arrival to enjoy on the fire pit outside. 😊 Would highly recommend if you need to get away from noise and the hustle and bustle of city life, it is so so quiet. Lovely little pub round the corner if you enjoy walking, nice food pleasant staff. Only thing I would say is bit difficult to get the fire pit or log burner started with no paper. Kindling and logs available though.

Occasionally an Airbnb "off grid" can be a bit fragmented - toilets & kitchens separate from the 'hut but here everything is self contained with immaculate shower/toilet facilities. the kitchen was perfectly functional, clean & efficient. Beautiful environment (a few other 'huts on site but everybody is spaced apart and private), heavily wooded area with substantial lake & abundant wildlife. If we needed to come back to Norfolk again we wouldn't hesitate in returning to this venue.

Had a great stay. Wished we were feeling better though. Loved the tub but ran out of wood. Not a problem im sure it wood have been topped up if we asked

The view outside is amazing especially in the winter mornings. Really friendly owners from the start and very helpful throughout. Extremely grateful for a lovely stay this weekend and will definitely return! Highly recommend.

David has a great place here! It’s exactly as described in the listing. The place is incredibly private, and very cozy, perfect for a cozy couple getaway, there are local shops and pubs and a quick bus into Cambridge or a taxi for around £15 which is reasonable. The wood burner fireplace is a great touch and the bed was extremely comfortable. David is very responsive to messages and was happy to help. We will be recommending this place to our friends and we will certainly come back if we have the chance. Great value for money and great location, excellent if you wanted a peaceful trip to Cambridge and the surrounding areas!

We really enjoyed our stay in the shepherd's hut, and it actually exceeded our expectations! We stayed for New Year's Eve and despite the chilly weather, we were cosy and warm inside thanks to the powerful electric heater and the many blankets. Also, if anyone looking would find it helpful to know, towels and a hairdryer are provided! I didn't see them on the listing (perhaps I missed it) and it's so useful not to have to pack those things. We also found Stephen, Andy and all of the pub staff to be really friendly and helpful. Thank you again.

Just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at the hut and wow, we didnt want to leave. The hut was spotlessly clean and so beautifully furnished and in a perfect location for exploring Norfolk. Natasha was such a responsive, friendly host who provided fantastic local recommendations and really made it a home away from home. We would happily book again

Foxtail Lodge is a true gem. I needed escapism, quiet and nature and it's exactly what I got. Beautiful setting, stunning walks for all abilities. It may be next to the hosts house but it's 100% private and you can't be seen. The lodge is extremely well appointed with everything you need. the use of space is perfect. oh and the bed is one of the comfiest I've slept in. Jennifer is the perfect host, personally greeting me, showing me how things worked, lots of recommendations. I enjoyed a solo stay here, but it would be perfect for a couple. Lay in the hot tub, stare up at the stars and listen to the nature that surrounds you. Perfection

Hosts were very friendly and helpful, gave us a full tour of the hut and how to use things. Tidy and all the little bits you need including coffee tea milk sugar dog biscuit shortbreads dog bowls towels and so on. Private parking and gated. Great pub few doors down with really good food. Booked and recommended by the host for us in advance. All round great 1 night stay for me, wife and the dog. (Early 30s couple)

We both enjoyed a peaceful get away in Sam's cosy Shepherds hut. The hut had everything we needed and was nice and warm on an icy cold January evening. The tranquility and comfortable bed allowed us to have a really good sleep and the bathroom and kitchen were ideal for a short stay. It was an added bonus to see the horses in the paddock nearby.
