It was a calm Japanese-style construction with easy-to-use equipment, and we had a very pleasant time.You can also walk to Lake Biwa.They responded kindly and promptly to inquiries. There was no supermarket nearby, and the restaurant was closed for the winter.I recommend shopping in advance. I want to stay again when it's warm.

Halfway to a beautiful walk in the history of Magome and a pleasant bath in Gero Onsen, our one-night stop in Hiyou was excellent. An experience in a Japanese house where our Japanese friend was able to practice his cooking skills by offering us a traditional kare (Japanese curry) with the ingredients buy at the local supermarket. The karaoke behind the house allowed us to have 2 hours of fun. Thank you to our hosts for their kindness and hospitality.

The home has a split upper level available. We stayed in the upper right half which has the outdoor pool. I enjoyed the views most from the hammock chair on the balcony. It is a five minute walk down a steep incline to a secluded beach with a walking path. Despite the weather, our dogs and I enjoyed our stay!

Our family of 4 had a great time over 3 nights. The house was so well equipped with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. The property was also really spacious for the kids to have a run around. Plenty of activities to do at the house that we didn’t need to go anywhere. Highly recommend to anyone and host is super helpful.

It was a renovated property, but it was very spacious and clean, and I felt the old and inconvenient, and I had a comfortable stay. It is on a wide road, and there is plenty of space for parking, so there is room for a mini van for families. The dog run was also spacious, so the dog didn't have to do bad indoors. I was worried about the bugs because it was winter. The surroundings are quiet both day and night, and there are not many streets and traffic. There was a convenience store and a set meal restaurant and a Western restaurant that everyone could go to, and it was convenient to walk to the beach and downtown. It was very appreciated that they took care of the check-in time because they had children. The host was also quick to respond to messages, so I was relieved to have a smooth resolution when there was an issue here. They can also dispose of garbage and change sheets, so it was very good to keep it clean. It was also thanks to the fact that we stayed here and had a stress-free and relaxing time. **Ski Chalet in Hakuba** Our group had an absolutely amazing three-night stay at Chika’s chalet in Hakuba! From start to finish, everything was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a better home base for our ski trip. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from the free Happo One ski resort shuttle, making it effortless to hit the slopes each day. The chalet itself is cozy, warm, and beautifully designed, offering the perfect retreat after long days in the snow. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and the bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained. Beyond the chalet, the proximity to downtown Hakuba was a huge bonus. Bars, restaurants, and grocery stores were all within easy reach, and ski rentals at SPICY ECHOLAND made gearing up for the mountains a breeze. Whether it was grabbing a bite after skiing or stocking up on essentials, everything was conveniently located.

We stayed in Aichi to spend a day at the Studio Gibli Park. It was a very nice home to stay at & we were able to walk to the local grocer and Sushi restaurant for food and entertainment. Very nice stay & would recommend for others traveling to the area.

Place was gorgeous, both inside and out. We loved the Koi pond in the mornings, great way to start the day. Location was lovely and quiet, just a short bus ride away from Nagano Station
