We felt home right after we arrived and satisfied about the serene surroundings and well-equipped facilities. Even with severe rainstorms, we enjoyed our stay, in particular, thanks to Toru’s helpful and tailored-made suggestions on the nearby Marutake Armour Workshop and the hot springs. In addition, we had a great chat to exchange our experiences; Toru had also prepared local sweets and offered his specially roasted coffee for our stay. This was a superb hospitality indeed. One important thing we’d like to mention is that Toru had kindly arranged delivery service to our accommodation when we had left our belongings - which we felt grateful. We highly recommend to this great place to travellers who love private and intimate stay for vacation.

Our stay at Yoshiko's house was great from start to finish. Prior to my arrival she provided information and helped me set up things to do while in Iwakuni. She greeted me when I arrived and gave me a tour of the home and all its amenities. House is clean and has modern fixtures. Grocery store to pick up food was in easy walking distance. Home has a peaceful inner garden space. House is within walking distance of Iwakuni Castle and Kintai Bridge. Yoshiko helped us get a taxi home from a rural restaurant when we were unable to obtain one ourselves. Her husband took our luggage to the train station when we left. Yoshiko and her husband provided an exceptional experience that we won't forget. I hope to come back some day.

Fully-detached guesthouse with long-stay discount

I love every bit of David’s place. It is located in the peaceful neighbourhood of Joēi, which you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day. The house is spacious and has everything I need to stay comfortably for a month. There are big supermarket and drug store within walking distance, and with the bike David provided, you can go to a large shopping mall and pretty much all living necessities within 15 min. David and his wife Naomi are extremely friendly and helpful. Recommended me good restaurants and also useful tips to get around. I enjoyed my stay here very much. I highly recommend this place to other travellers when you want to escape the crowd and experience Japanese rural lifestyle.

Modern Style, Walk to Senso-ji, Private Bedroom501

JoyceRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The very pleasant lodging, the beautiful area and there are many things to see, meters and nearby transports that connect to other sides of the city. As a recommendation for those who decide to stay in this accommodation it is that they travel light since the room is on a fifth floor and there is no elevator, as I struggled a little with the luggage since the stairs are narrow and they are quite a few. But overall it's worth staying here.

#102,Asakusa <<DAIN HOSTEL>> 1Fguest room

GhilmanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
For Tokyo, with this price, it's really a bang for your buck! Ventilation and window wasn't that great, but the place is spacious and comfortable. It got everything you need. What I like is the shared room where you can cook, wash or even talk with other guests. The access is 24/7 using lock pin. Min also provides a personal coffee set for his guests to brew coffee, mmm.. nice!! Just beware that the toilet doesn't have bidet. Overall it was a nice experience! The location also walkable to metro and bus. Min is also very supportive host! He replied blazingly fast in case of problem! During check-in, Min waited in front of the place to guide us. He also offers free drink in his coffee shop, sadly we missed it because of our busy schedule :( I would definitely come again if I visit Asakusa in the future.

I give this B&B a full five-star recommendation!I chose this B&B because the photos were beautiful and the price was right, and the location was not a consideration.I didn't expect to find out later that the B&B was located on an island and that cars couldn't reach it directly. I was a little worried at first.Fortunately, the owner provided very clear instructions, including the location and timetable of the ferry, and the whole trip went smoothly. This was also the first time in my life that I experienced a car ferry, and it felt both novel and happy! The view around the B&B is very beautiful, and the wooden decoration in the house makes the environment quiet and relaxing. The barbecue grill adds a rich atmosphere to the accommodation. Although the B&B is located in nature, there are many insects outside the house, but when you enter the house, the insects disappear without a trace, which is very surprising. The house has a hammock, and the view from the window is an endless green grassland. But the most unfortunate thing was that it rained that day, and we couldn't enjoy the starry sky in the homestay introduction, which was a small regret. If I get the chance, I'll definitely come again, especially for the stars at night! Also very grateful for the friendly attitude of the owner, overall, this is a great value stay, highly recommended for travelers who love nature and adventure!
