Bungalow vacation rentals in Japan

The beach is right there, you can see the sea even if you are sitting in the dining room, the stars are beautiful, the location was great!It was a family trip for three generations, but I would like to come back again. There is no microwave, so I thought that if you have small children, you need to be creative with your belongings.

The husband is Japanese and the wife is Taiwanese. It is nice for Chinese speaker. Communication is key obstacle when traveling to less developed area in Japan, need to use translating app. The house is traditional Japanese style. It is big and clean with a well structured kitchen and a front garden. They provided bicycle which is good transportation to travel Ibusuki in slow pace. They had nice suggestions to travel around Ibusuki. As we were traveling to Yakushima. They also proactively checked and provided us the latest information about the ship 🚢.

If you prefer calm and quiet, this is the best place to stay.

The host was very friendly and I had no problems.You can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax.

We stayed at Mermaid for the second time, also for our children's graduation trip. As with last time, the location was great, and although it was cold, the kids had a great time swimming, looking for creatures, and BBQing on the private beach in front of the house. There were no restaurants nearby, so we took a taxi to get food, but we were looking forward to that, so we had a great time for 3 nights and 4 days. It's a place where you can feel at peace no matter how many times you visit.

They handled it very quickly and nicely. In addition, it was very good that they picked us up from the port to the inn, and that they prepared a BBQ with only ingredients.

Excellent location. Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful. Incredibly helpful. There are local restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Surfing, whale watching and gorgeous beaches. Local buses make island accessible. Beautiful place on a beautiful island with great hosts

It was a great place to stay! I'd love to come back again if I get the chance

Only stayed for one night The environment was comfortable and the heater was turned on when it was warm, because it would be closer to the suburbs there would be insects in the room already provided good extermination

A lovely little space away from the hustle of tourists. It is on the opposite side of town away from a lot of major tourist spots but in 20 minutes you can be at several locations by bus which was perfect for us. We didn’t want to be in a loud and crowded area when we rested for the night. Having the tatami mats were an extra bonus and a great experience. Very comfortable after a day of walking everywhere! Overall, I would happily return.

This was a wonderful and quiet place to stay. Very close to the lake. The nearby soba restaurant was a real treat. The host was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

It took some time to find the place, it was nice to have photos attached to the host to find quickly; the house is large for multiple families to stay; the location is on the hillside, there are no businesses nearby, you have to drive out to buy something; the house is cleaned, but there will be some small insects.

Was a good and calm stay in good place where you can surf and swim and do some sport activities with enjoying a fabulous view, the place is more of nature and old style so make sure to bring some bugs pr mosquitoes spray with you.
