Family-friendly vacation rentals in Florida

Central location for the activities we wanted to do: visit the Keys, Miami, and Everglades. some good restaurants nearby our favorite was the Brazilian Steak House. The back yard with pool. tub and BBQ was out favorite part of the house for our three teenagers

EXCELLENT location! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool (and unexpectedly used the hot tub more than we thought we would!). Very spacious. The open concept kitchen, dining and den with pool views gave it a resort like feel. We definitely plan to visit again!

Overall our stay was great! Jeff was very responsive, and left us a lot of recommendations for local restaurants. The house was very clean and the pictures accurately reflected how to house looked. The only downsides were the large bugs that somehow got in the home. There were 3 occasions this happend but they seemed harmless. The net around the pool had a tear in it allowing spiders and lizards inside of the pool area but they stayed around the outside of the pool so we could avoid them.

Frank and Ralph went above and beyond as hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted in person and taken on a tour, getting all the details on amenities. Their responsiveness throughout our trip was fast and efficient, and we felt comfortable and safe staying in their home. The house was stocked with everything we could need, including the kitchen and bathrooms. They even included an abundance of beach gear. We could not have been more taken care of. As for the house itself, we were in paradise. The palms fan over the backyard, providing lovely shade and paradise. The pool and hot tub were gorgeous, and the poolside chairs were great for tanning! Inside was super clean and tidy, and all of the furniture and decorations were elegant and fun. The location is amazing, minutes from everything on Wilton Drive I highly recommend anyone to stay here. The house was gorgeous, and our hosts were very welcoming and enthusiastic.

My husband and I stayed at Matt's Place and it didn't disappoint. It is exactly what he described in the details. We had our morning coffee on the pier to watch the beautiful sunrise and listen to nature waking up. Enjoyed some jacuzzi time and some BBQ. The Hammocks are a nice touch. Somehow I was under the impression it had a king or queens size bed, but the house is establish with 2 bunkbeds, which was perfectly fine and different. The location is sure "Nature pure" your are close to grocery stores and restaurants but when on the property it feels you are far away from everything. Kitchen was organized and equipped enough. We forgot charcoal but went to the local Publix to grab a bag...it was a very nice experience. Unique with the amenities Matt Offers...It was a warm welcome and easy access. Sandra was very nice to us and she make sure that we have an a/c on the window and soon they came to fix the central air conditioner and friendly pet place overall it’s a nice place for a couple

We had the best time staying here! The condo was big enough for our family of 5 with plenty of amenities. Tons of extra stuff to start us off, and plenty of towels and blankets was a definite plus. The view was amazing, and we absolutely loved the Tiki Bar and Cafe! Sumer was very helpful and communicative from the start, we will definitely be back!

This is was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet little fishing town with a beach that provides quality family time. We took plenty of gulf cart rides around town, spent days/nights on the beach and at the park and explored Cedar Key Cemetary boardwarlk/beach. The beach is clean with nice sand but only swimmable during high tide. Several charters and kayaks available for rent. This quaint little town turns in early and is actively re-building from Hurricane Helene, so the dining and shopping options are very limited. Most places serve only breakfast and lunch. With that said, we enjoyed the family dinners, dining out only one time at The Tipsy Cow (rating: 6/10). We visited Rainbow Springs State Park (1' away) and Blue Springs Park (30" away) - both beautiful, natural springs. Rainbow Springs offered more activities, food and a gift shop while Blue Springs was more kid-friendly with a park and picnic benches. Would highly recommend if looking for a peaceful vacation.

These are some of the best hosts we have ever had! From the moment we arrived with a tire issue, Steve was immediately friendly and helpful with multiple local repair shops to try and suit our needs. In the following days he had lots of local restaurants, dive locations and dog park recs. Their place has all the necessities you'd need on your vacation. The kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast, and prepare leftovers any day we needed. All other rooms were stocked, clean and well kept. The dogs loved to fetch n cool off in the Sound on their frequent swims. Lush foliage was a surprise as it contributed to wildlife, birds and shady temps! It is definitely the place to privately slow down, sit back an watch the sun rise on the dock as boats travel by slow and unbusily. Topping it all off was the spacious porch/yard with water hose. It spoiled us as we are usually unable to fully rinse and dry out all of our dive gear before returning home. Come and visit their oasis, you won't regret it!!

Will definitely stay again if I ever come back this way. I wanted a place that had a private pool and was pet friendly. I got both. The neighborhood is peaceful. The house is very spacious and clean. One downside, there is no tv in the master bedroom but that was fine too. Don’t need to be in bed with a pool like this one. Thank you for allowing me to stay.

Our stay was fabulous! The house was just as described. Plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the pool, used it everyday! We did not end up heating it, which worked out perfect. The temps were so warm during the day and the sun is on the back of the house all day which is great for being out there. The game/movie room was great and kids loved playing and watching movies. Kitchen had what we needed and we cooked all of our dinners there. Fresh crab legs and ahi tuna near by that was great. It is definitely a place we would return to. The house was so perfect and Andrew was awesome. The pool and outdoor area was so peaceful. Great location to restaurants, beach, etc.

My stay at Stephanie's property was very pleasant. I never had to call her. Everything at her property is excellent. The house is spectacular, the pool was GREAT!!!, and the fire pit was the best. I have no hesitation in recommending her property. Thank you, Stephanie!

Our family enjoyed staying at Susan’s cottage. It is surrounded by lots of nature ( trees, birds, deer, and armadillo). The cottage itself was clean and cozy. Susan allowed us to bring our dog and rabbit which helped us out tremendously. She shared information on the history of Old Bellamy road ( the oldest road still in existence in America) and its surrounding properties which was really informative. Overall, we really had a fabulous stay and look forward to returning to this special place in the near future. Lots of thanks, Colleen and family

We had a family vacation to experience the ocean and grandson to try and surf. The house was very nice and clean. The pool was excellent to come back to after a long day of doing things around town. Washer and dryer were great as well were traveling and needed to do clothes. The owner was awesome to work with on a couple things we called her about. Other than that we will definitely stay there again if ever coming back to the neighborhood.

Perfect for two families traveling for F1. I liked the separate space of the mother-in-law suite. The pool was amazing.

We loved feeding the turtles 🐢. You have to check out downtown Sanford, walk the Riverwalk & go to the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens. Don't forget to try the Jailhouse Restaurant - in a real old jailhouse, great food! She was an amazing host.

I cannot say enough good things about Raymond & our stay. I travel a lot for my son’s lacrosse team & this was our favorite Airbnb so far! Raymond is very responsive & kind! I hope it’s available to book next year when we return.

This was one of the BEST stays I've had. Paola was very accommodating, communicative, friendly, and informative. We had a smooth check in and check out. The guest home itself was absolutely beautiful, it had everything we needed, and it is stunning in person. I highly recommend staying here and I may be back!

The outside furniture and pool area are 10 out of 10. It felt like our own private resort.

Ed is a wonderful host. The house is lovely, on a lagoon with a private dock/lift for your boat. Short drive to restaurants and beaches or a healthy walk. Pool was very nice and bicycles, fishing poles, and other amenities were available for our convenience, and enjoyment. Would rent again and recommend Ed as a host.

We had a great time. The location is walkable to so many great restaurants and shops. We had a great time exploring during our time. The place was clean and easy to check into. The pool would’ve been nicer if it was not so busy but other than that we had an excellent time.
