Vacation rentals with beach access in Dumfries and Galloway

Second stay at Liz’s place. We were happy with it on the first stay but the second proved we were right to go back. Everything you need for a home from home. Ideal location. Close to town and beach. Everything in the house is quality. Very comfortable all round. Facilities are easy to use. Good restaurants and bars very close, also not far from the train station. We were in Glasgow within the hour. We had a lovely break this time as well. Look forward to the next time.

A delightful property that met all our needs. Wonderful view of harbour, and rooms thoughtfully designed and furnished to make the most of this. Helpful owner — nothing too much trouble. Comfortable, well equipped and utterly peaceful. Not to mention high quality cafe downstairs.

Brilliant apartment. Immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We were able to walk 4 mins to silloth golf club from here. Very good restaurant next door. The 2nd bed wasn’t made unfortunately but the host responded quickly to give instructions of where to find the bedding. Would definitely stay here again

Had another very comfortable stay, home from home, with fantastic views of the Ayrshire coastline. David and Una being superb hosts throughout my stays here. Can highly recommend

Excellent location for our golf trip to Turnberry . Only a 2 minute drive away. Had everything we needed and plenty of space

Joanna made my booking and stay stress free and surprised us with a lovely thoughtful welcome gift. The caravan was immaculate and spacious for us to have a relaxing few days celebrating family.

The Old School House is stunning Air BnB , super clean, very well appointed and Elizabeth is an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Newton Stewart.

Beautiful house in gorgeous countryside. The photos don’t do it justice! We were very fortunate with the weather but spending more time in the house wouldn’t have been a problem! Very light and spacious with nice attention to detail.

Highly recommend for Nature lovers!! this place offers comfort and stunning views. Alot to do around this area. James is really friendly, helpful host and always responsive. Lovely stay Cheryl was very responsive had a great weekend stay lovely private small area in the back to sit outside and to top it off we had lovely weather while staying so the sun was out very nice, and lovely at night looking at the stars can’t fault Cheryl’s place definitely be back one day 😊

So glad we found this gem ! Perfect for our short stay while visiting family in Ayr. Beautiful and generously spaced property stylishly furnished. It was the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed at so far. Little touches (coffee, tea etc) were very much appreciated. Marcus was very responsive and communicated brilliantly. We felt very at home here and will hopefully be back.

My wife and I (plus dog) have just returned home after 3 nights at Erin & Bs home in Port Patrick. The house is immaculate, the decor and the art work are lovely . Erin & B appear to have thought of everything when it comes to stocking the house for guests. There are nice places to eat by the harbour, there are great walks nearby and the views all around Port Patrick are stunning. If you're thinking of renting their house, we would recommend it 100%. We absolutely loved this place! It’s super spacious, with a huge kitchen and living room that made it feel like a real home away from home. The garden was lovely and perfect for relaxing—and our dog had the best time with so much space to run around. We also loved the character and charm of her dad’s house—it made the stay feel even more special. Everything was clean and well set up, and it’s great that pets are welcome too. We’d definitely stay again!

The Attic is very comfortable and warm right in the centre of Portpatrick. The flat is very clean and has everything you need even if cooking a dinner. Cliff top walks and pubs are close at hand. Would definitely recommend

2nd time in Port Logan and will definitely be back for a 3rd. The cottage is just beautiful and the views are second to none,. Great hosts and welcome basket was a lovely touch. Had a great time!

Great spot, perfect location

We hugely enjoyed our stay here. The flat was even more beautiful in person and came fully fitted with everything you could need. The entrance was safe and secure and it was a perfect stay. I would highly recommend it!

A perfectly situated accommodation in the centre of Stranraer. The four large bedrooms and two lounges were comfortable. The kitchen was a good size for a bigger group. A recommended accommodation.

David and Tia are great hosts and their place is fantastic. Beautiful place with a lovely view. Close to Ayr town and beach and if you need to go further afield it's close to main roads. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again

Lovely, spacious, private apartment. Close to town centre & seafront with everything within a short walk. Olena was a great host and made us feel relaxed and at home. We wouldn't hesitate to come back!
