Rose was excellent. I made a mistake with the numbers of people staying and sorted it out promptly. House was soo lovely and it was a great stay.

Margaret was a great host and helped with any issues we had during our stay. A great house to stay in and would thoroughly recommend to anyone else.

The cottage was easy to find and had good access. It was warm when we arrived which made it feel welcoming. The rooms were spacious, well laid out and had plenty of storage. The living room had plenty of comfy seating. It was very clean and had attractive decor throughout. The bedding was fabulous! It was fully equipped with everything you need. There was easy access to Dumfries and had lovely views all round. Milk was found in the fridge on arrival along with tea, coffee and sugar and the obligatory Scottish shortbread, which was yummy! Had a great stay - highly recommend!

Kirk Andrews house was a fantastic place to stay for a large group, we were four adults and five children. It was equipped with everything we needed, rooms were large & clean, bathrooms equipped with plenty towels & also toiletries. The pool table was an added bonus which the kids loved. For such a big house it was lovely & warm, the only criticism is the chairs & sofas which are well past their best and in need of replacing but this did not spoil our stay at all. The house is very private and surrounded by beautiful views on all sides, lovey walks all around too.

we stayed here for my partners birthday. i’ve stayed in a lot of different Airbnb’s but Julie was by far the loveliest host i’ve had so far; flexible check in/out, loads of local recommendations, always responsive on messages. her home is on a peaceful main street and still feels rustic whilst still having all the modern amenities which is something i love. the house is filled with great books, comfy beds, games, cookware etc. a perfect stay, we cannot recommend enough. a perfect base if you want to explore Wigtown / Port William / Isle of Whithorn.

Stayed 2nd-5th of January as a lovely new year break before being back at work. Caroline’s home has some great features including a lovely hot tub, luxury jacuzzi bath, well equipped kitchen and comfy sofas plus a downstairs shower room ideal for use before the hot hub. Definitely a place I’d recommend as Caroline greeted us and showed us around so we were comfortable with everything her home had to offer, also very informative of good local restaurants and places to visit. Drivable to some beautiful scenic areas to the west coast. Thank you Caroline

My family of eight stayed at Haylie's place for three nights. It was both cosy and spacious, and had everything that we needed for a lovely getaway.

Spent a delightful 10 days at Rayvon. It is exactly like the photos - clean, well equipped, cosy, classic with some lovely modern touches. The kitchen is particularly pleasing - light and bright and well equipped. It is in the perfect location for walks on the beach with beautiful views across to Scotland. Oh and the excellent pub/restaurant The Ship is approximately 30 seconds walk away! The village has a quirky but very well stocked local shop too, in case you don’t fancy the schlep to Lidl. I visited in the Autumn so the beautiful flagstone floor was a bit chilly underfoot (note to self, don’t forget slippers next time), but I should imagine in the warmer summer months it would be very welcome. And the heating system and fabulous log burner (and my socks) more than made up for the cold feet! Would definitely recommend Rayvon.

Very spacious. The host was really helpful on arrival. Everything we needed was there. As we were working in The Studio Moffat (we're part of a young theatre company) we really appreciated how warm and comfortable this place is, helped us work hard over 4 days.

Lovely apartment - hugely spacious and decorated with some really interesting pieces. Check in was very easy and made for a super relaxing stopover on our way north. We also had a great dinner at Claudio's (a recommendation of Piers' we happily endorse).

Fantastic little place slap bang in central Dumfries with everything you could need right on the doorstep. Sarah was an engaging, friendly and funny host too. Well recommend.

Beautiful place in gorgeous surroundings. Elizabeth was very quick at responding to any queries I had and very helpful. Great facilities and bonus to have swimming and free activities on site. Very comfy bed and spacious living area. The only downside was that usually when we've stayed in AirB&Bs there are condiments such as salt/vinegar and sauces, so deffo don't forget to pack them. But other than that, it's an amazing place and we really enjoyed our peaceful stay. Thankyou

I had a great time staying in Moffat. The area is beautiful and this home is very close to the Main Street. The home had a sauna and steam room which added a touch of luxury. Luke & AnnaMarie were also very kind and friendly, leaving me some thoughtful gifts in the fridge. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a very enjoyable short-term stay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely small with very limited surface area but had sufficient for snacks and light meals. Anetta was an excellent host and the town of Dumfries had a lot to offer. A very easy walk into town although the way back was uphill.

The flat was really good and would use it again was a similar price to an hotel room but so much more space and had a full kitchen. It was cosy and clean. Tom was a great and kind host.

Lovely flat with all the amenities that we needed. Clean, safe and warm. The hot tub was the cherry on top. Thank you!

Talk about going an extra mile, Alison does that and many more. It is a real ‘Home from Home’ experience- Alison puts so much effort into making your stay stress free. I stayed there 28th February 2025 for three nights. Myself, my daughter and her two very young boys. Alison provided everything we needed to keep them happy, toys, games etc. The apartment is spotless, we had a little issue with the internet connection, texted Alison and she got back to us straight away with the solution. Only a five minute walk to a lovely play park right by the beach, Pirate Pete which has lots for young ones next to the park too. Town Centre with lots of shops, restaurants etc. within walking distance. Alison puts a lot of effort into making your stay perfect, on arrival there was Tea, coffee, bread, butter and much more, so no need to have to pop to the shop straight away. Alison was the perfect host going above and beyond what you’d normally expect. Would definitely stay there again.

Great stay, very nice and clean inside and had all amenities we needed, Stuarts an excellent host answered the phone whenever we needed and went above and beyond to arrange a earlier emergency check in! The locals are also extremely friendly

Good place to stay, close to local transport links

Great apartment in a great location. A 10 min drive to some amazing places. We visited Aira Force Waterfall, Blencathra and the farm shop nearby (Basecamp). Everything had been thought of and as a family of 4 we were comfortable and had enough room. Raluca made herself available if we needed anything at all. It was a bonus to have the facilities of the resort available; swimming, restaurant, gym, although we didn’t use them due to a short stay. Great apartment and we would love to visit again in the future.

This was the ideal place to stay for our short trip to Dumfries. Easy to deal with host and a short walk from great restaurants and bars.

We had a great time in Carlisle and Les was a great host. The flat was lovely and comfortable for our family and Les was very quick to respond to any questiond we had - he even brought new batteries for the TV remote within about 15 minutes of us letting him know there was a warning message on the TV. The flat is walking distance from the castle/cathedral/town centre and right by a supermarket so is really convenient. We would definitely recommend it!

Lovely clean, spacious flat; great location and helpful host. Parking space is small and slightly awkward- we drive a large car and choose to park elsewhere.
