The Garth

MarkRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We’ve all returned from a lovely week at the cottage - it was very clean and had everything that we needed; a real home from home. The beds a really comfortable and the bathrooms are amazing! The views are beautiful, great private garden and plenty of parking. The WIFI isn’t great but it’s probably to be expected as it’s a wee bit remote. On the positive, it was nice to have the children off their phones a bit more!

Cumbrian Hideaway, The Cottage Barn

ThomasRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a lovely stay at Sophie’s Cottage Barn. We used it as a base to hike in the Lake District as well as go up to Hadrian’s Wall. The place was lovely and it was great to have our own private house. Sophie was great and gave good recommendations about the local area. Would highly recommend

Little Meadow

DavidRating, 5 stars2 months ago
So grateful to Susan for hosting us at very short notice. Spent 3 nights here and would have loved to have stayed longer. The house was warm and cosy, the kitchen was well appointed with plenty of utensils etc to cook family meals. The lounge was very comfortable and the bedrooms also comfortable. Hot tub a definite bonus and spent every evening watching the stars. Lovely pub approx a mile away. Could have walked it but weather not ideal, served delicious food. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
A cozy seating area features a dark leather sectional sofa with decorative pillows. Natural light enters through a window adorned with a simple shade, illuminating a wooden TV stand and a rustic wooden door. The space offers a blend of comfort and functionality.

Enchanting cottage-and much more!

JackRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Raphaela and Steve were very helpful and pleasant. They encouraged us to let them know when we needed something. The cottage has a great bathroom and well-appointed kitchen and is very comfortable. We enjoyed the farm-like atmosphere—it’s so peaceful yet so close to amenities. And the grazing cows standing in the road to town were easily nudged with minimal mooing. We loved it!

The Hidden Mill: Historic with Dark Skies Spa.

KerryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The Mill is absolutely stunning - the photos don’t do it justice at all. It is beautifully put together with a well equipped kitchen, smart decor and so many interesting bits and pieces to give interest. There was such care and consideration given to making sure all needs were catered for from the toys and books to the extensive CD and DVD collection. The grounds are breathtaking and it would be easy to go nowhere else. We were very well looked after and enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and a campfire. This is the perfect place for a family to find peace and reset. Walking up to the birds and the sounds of the waterfall was like a detox. We petted donkeys, saw bee hives, looked for fish and paddled in the water. Our children are already planning a further stay. Exceptional value for money and just beautiful. Thank you Lorraine and the wonderful Arjun for looking after us so well.

Countryside barn conversion w/optional hot tub

LauraRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Jade was really helpful and responsive both before and during our stay. We stayed in the barn at Dalston and it was huge and really nicely decorated with all the amenities you could need. Really comfortable beds and pillows with plenty of towels. The hot tub was great and a nice big enclosed garden with hot tub which was clean and worked well. We’d definitely stay again. Heating was also easy to use when needed. Bit of a drive to places of interest like Penrith, Carlisle and ullswater but close to Dalston. Highly recommend the bridge end inn for a roast. Would definitely stay again, thanks for having us.
A log cabin is featured in the garden, surrounded by lush greenery and shaded by trees. An outdoor seating area with comfortable chairs is visible, alongside a hot tub covered by a tasteful canopy. Soft lighting is provided by a nearby lamp post.

Hayloft Cottage- Romantic getaway for two

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The accommodation was beautiful and quiet, exactly as described and well equipped. Jo who helped us with our stay was so incredibly friendly and kind, and the hot tub booking was straightforward and so relaxing. My partner and I loved the place and would love to return in the future. The directions to get to the accommodation were perfect, and despite the rural location we arrived there with no hassle at all. Cannot recommend enough!!

Cosy Cumbrian Barn Conversion - The Old Farm House

JamesRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This Cumbrian Farmhouse is fantastic! Connie has obviously spent a lot of time renovating the property and she has done a wonderful job. Wandering around the warm and exquisitely decorated rooms feels like gliding through the pages of an interior design magazine’s ‘Countryside-chic Edition’. Everywhere you look there are tasteful design flourishes that nod to the property’s agricultural heritage, such as cosy (thankfully faux) fur throws and portraits of floppy-fringed cows. The master bathroom, with its luxurious freestanding bath feels like it has been lifted straight out of Soho House! Everything we could possibly need during out stay was on hand – and Connie had gone the extra-mile to make our family stay feel special – There was a bottle of Prosecco chilling in the fridge, A fire was set in the beautiful wood burner, and a fire guard in place to stop little fingers getting burned, there was also special child-friendly shower gel in the bathroom. We’d definitely stay again.

Tom Croft, Wythmoor Farm Cottages

YvonneRating, 5 stars3 days ago
As I work in luxury 5* hotels, I can say that Lynn’s properties, specifically Tom Croft, as we stayed in it, can definitely be classed as 5*. There is honestly nothing negative to say about the property and I’m one to point out something (my hospitality eye doesn’t take a break😂). Truly everything was beyond standard, gorgeous space, felt 100% like home. This made the long journey worth it!! Location is perfect and super easy to get to, the satnav takes you straight there!!! Definitely we will be back🤗🤗 PS: Lynn’s cookies as an arrival amenities are to die for😍🤗 and if we could give 10 stars on the app, we would!!

Mount Farm - The Stable, self-catering with HotTub

LiamRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Beautiful place. Great scenery and animals all around as it’s on a working farm so that was lovely. Marj was lovely and very helpful and friendly as were everyone else we met there. I took my kids with me and they loved every minute. Plenty for them to do if they weren’t in the hot tub. When it’s clear on an evening the star gazing is amazing. The views in general are beautiful from the property. Would definitely stay again.

Stable Cottage rural farm barn holiday cottage

PatrykRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Even though it’s a working farm it felt very secluded. Really peaceful and you can really recharge your batteries before another adventure. It’s close to Keswick and if weather is bad SW Scotland is only an hour drive. Our boys loved football pitch and trampoline but jacuzzi style bath felt like little cherry on the top of the cake. Natalie is an amazing host and I’d recommend staying here to everyone.
