We loved our stay. The bed was so comfortable and we had a lovely time walking around the castle and enjoying the hot tub. Sharon’s instructions for driving in were spot on. The fields around the area are gorgeous with so many little lambs. Lovely hosts and Sharon’s marmalade was amazing!

This was such a lovely place in a quiet area with lovely views. We had everything we needed and we were able to use the bbq in the nice weather. The cabin had underfloor heating, so it was nice and cosy. We will definitely be back

Melanie was really helpful and friendly during our stay, really quick responses to messages when we had questions. Only had 1 very small issue and it was resolved immediately and generously! The lodge was lovely: the sauna and hot tub were perfect, all the furniture and throws made it very homely, also lots of games and dvds to use so we were never bored. Would definitely recommend, thank you for a luxurious weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the pod was beautifully kept. Everything was clean and we were provided with everything we needed. The photos do not do the pod justice, the views were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. We can’t wait to return.

Arrived to a beautiful cabin, with unbelievable views from the decking area (as told) over the golf course and to the mountains in the back ground. The cabin itself was easily accessible, very clean, homely and welcoming. Hot tub was already warm-to my 9 year olds excitement, he was in it before I had time to pop the kettle on! Isabelle as the host was fantastic, I had asked for details of local things to do-walks, museums, cafes/restaurants all information had been sent to me before arrival from her. Where the cabin is located is perfect, it’s peaceful, tranquil and the right place to go and deeply unwind. I am already looking at our next visit, friends and family are also interested too. We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights there, and with it only being an hours drive away for us it’s the perfect find. Thank you for having us Isabelle-we will be back very soon!

A lovely little place to stay. Nice and peaceful and relaxing. Very clean and spacious and the hot tub was well maintained. Ruth was very helpful and always on hand if needed.

Surrounded by magnificent scenery and all the comforts of home, Penny’s place truly feels magical. The area is abundant in wildlife, offering numerous spots to unwind and absorb the breathtaking views. Thank you for sharing your enchanting retreat with us! Recommend as a cosy stop off to recharge with the supercomfy bed and hot tub overlooking the Dee estuary. It was just what we needed after a day of walking the Pilgrims Way. Gemma recommended a local lady who makes curries which were ideal for us.

We had a lovely stay and would recommend for a relaxing get away with lovely views. The place had everything we needed for cooking/bbqing and Tim was really helpful with local recommendations and getting us settled.

We had a beautiful stay! The view was amazing and the facilities were perfect. We loved the little reception area where you could get games, DVD’s and toys. We loved the little Easter touches aswell! The lodge was VERY clean easy to get in to, very clear instructions on how to use things and how to get in. My son loved the big field in front of the lodge. Overall it was a beautiful stay and 100% would recommend

We had an absolutely amazing 2-night stay at the cabin! Everything was so well arranged — from the cozy setup to all the thoughtful little details that made our stay super comfortable. The environment was peaceful and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the unforgettable camping shower experience — it was unique and surprisingly fun! We also really appreciated the lovely communication; we were provided with all the information we needed, which made everything easy and stress-free. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back❤️

We stayed here the night of our wedding, the host left some rose petals shaped in a heart with some love heart sweets, which was so lovely of them. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, the views & location was so peaceful and relaxing and the inside was perfect. Thankyou so much would 1000% stay again

A lovely couple of nights away. Great walks from the cabin and Marsden had some good pubs and food options. Lots closed on Tuesdays though. We walked to Slaithwaite along the canal and to Stanedge the other way. Had some good weather too. Barely the cockapoo loved her stay too. Thanks to Lesley for checking in on us.

We stayed at Riverside Cabins as a surprise for my husband's birthday. From the time of booking, with help to have balloons in the cabin prior to our arrival, to organising the hot tub to warm up quicker as we were only staying for 1 night, everyone was so friendly, accommodating & extremely helpful! I couldn't recommend this place enough! The location is no more than perfect! It was a freezing cold night (-2 i think) which gave us the beautifully clear skies on which to view the stars from the hot tub. I couldn't think of a better place to have been on such a perfect night! Luckily we live local so will definitely be staying again and I have already recommended Riverside Cabins to my family and friends. The cabin was clean, warm and cosy, well equiped & beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed. Loved it! I would say more but I'm running out of the allocated number of characters! Quick you need to book before you miss out on experiencing such a perfect location! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gorgeous place that is perfect for a city getaway, the surroundings are nothing less that mesmerising and it really allows you to get in touch with nature. It is a mere 25 minute drive to Snowdens Miners track and has a great little village nearby with all the necessities :)

When we turned up we were greeted and taken to the cabin to check in. Rias father was very helpful and made us feel very welcome, everything was explained to us and anything we should need we just had to ask. We absolutely loved our stay, it was such a cosy cabin and very much needed for some time away, it was in a lovely peaceful area and just a short drive away to the local shops and restaurants 😀 We will certainly book to stay here again. Hands down one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Rod and Victoria have done an amazing job with the cabin and it just ticked all the boxes. You couldn’t ask for a better location sat between the water and the lovely horses behind us. How nice it was to be sat round the fire pit watching the boats go by tucking into some sausages from the BBQ. The little touches really made the place feel like home. The fresh bread and butter. The outstanding marmalade to accompany a nice cup of tea with some milk 😊 and the hot chocolate, biscuits and marshmallows sure did go down a treat with the kids! They provided all the fire wood we needed for the night so we could get the wood burner going which made the cabin feel lovely and toasty. They also gave you some feed for the animals which was such an experience for the kids and they loved it. Super friendly hosts with great communication. Easy and accurate directions to follow. We absolutely loved this place from the moment we opened the door. Everything from the meticulously sourced textiles/crockery etc that matched the setting so well to the detail in finish of the cabin etc has been SO well thought out. It was the perfect place to recuperate and relax in nature. We saw so much wildlife- even just from the bedroom window! As soon as we walked in we saw deer just behind the cabin, rabbits, foxes, woodpeckers, red kites…the list goes on. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets a stride away. The icing on the cake was the wood fired tub which was unbelievable! On our last night we had the most peaceful, still and clear night, meaning that we could see the most incredible amount of stars! Cannot recommend this air BnB enough and Trish was the perfect host. A lovely welcome with personal touches, attentive and friendly host. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

Everything was perfect and the cabin had everything we needed - clean and comfortable. Hot tub is ideal for star-gazing at night and it feels very private. Loved it and would recommend to anyone!
