Great location with some beautiful walks working the surrounding area. Very homely, easy to relax and just very responsive at all times.

We had a great long weekend here. The place was lovely and cosy and had everything we needed. Close to the local towns. Richard was very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was fantastic with views overlooking the fields. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The house was lovely. My teenage son most enjoyed the big tv on the wall. It’s walkable to the town so we ate out there. We were able to spend the day with our daughter before dropping her off at university.

The stay was superb - Alan the Partridge on the window sill every night. Helen was superb with us both when we were dealing with a family emergency. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely spot, quiet and peaceful - just what was required!

Beautiful cottage with lots of little touches that we really appreciated. Very well equipped kitchen with all the mod-cons. Two sitting rooms and one with a log burner that we used everyday. Nice to have a bath and separate shower. Three lovely bedrooms, all with a good amount of storage and comfy beds. We loved the area, lots of beautiful places to walk and take in the surroundings. Would recommend the local pub (Cricketers Arms) everyone was so friendly and the breakfast at the Pavillion was delicious. We’d also recommend Jacob’s Well in Honley, they were so accommodating with our booking and again, the food was delicious. We all loved our stay & would definitely go again.

Had a perfect stay in this perfect setting and accommodation. Everything about The Paddock was spot on, really highly finished and the host was great with comms. Got to feed the Alpacas and Gavin was super nice even taking our giddy Husky for a walk so we could enjoy feeding the Alpacas for 2mins without constant howling! Would definitely go back just hope we’ll be able to get booked in as I’m sure this place will be popular!

An absolute gem of a place with gorgeous views and endless birdsong. What a way to wake up! Beautiful walks everywhere, a quiet spot, helpful hosts - can’t recommend this place enough. Did I mention the baked goods? Delicious. Book this place now - you won’t ever regret it.

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

Short stay but we will definitely stay there again as we visit relatives in the area. Mark was a brilliant host and the annexe apartment was perfect and really warm! The weather was bitterly cold so it was nice to come back to a really warm place. Lots of little extras with breakfast cereal and good selection of snacks. The shower was fantastic we couldn’t praise Mark enough for making our short stay brilliant!

Marshall was a great host, he kindly gave us late check out free of charge..we will be back.

We had a lovely 1 night stay in this beautiful Airbnb. Alison Mary was very communicative, flexible and generous. The apartment is in a lovely garden, in a lovely residential area. We walked into Sheffield and enjoyed the nearby Botanic gardens. The kitchen is lovely, so well equipped and with added personal touches. The bedroom is comfortable and cosy and we enjoyed being able to have a bath. The decor is quirky and stylish. A great short break was had. Thankyou!

Lovely quick stay at Paul's, super peaceful cabin in beautiful location. Very helpful hosts who greeted us on arrival and walked us down to the cabin and explaining how everything works. Great outdoor kitchen with everything we needed. Dogs had a great time roaming around the space. Definitely a place we'd like to return again to.

Had an excellent stay at longhorn lodge after a zoo visit for my little girls 4th birthday. If I’m being honest the reason for me choosing this place was Isaac the cat and he did not disappoint. Both my sister and little girl were smitten. The lodge itself is beautiful and so very cosy, the hosts were on hand with any queries through message. Fabulous location for both the city centre and zoo. We loved it

Fantastic place and fantastic host. We had problems with our car and Tim and his wife were more than happy to help, taking us into town to pick up food. The place was lovely with beautiful views. Very peaceful and quiet. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely woodland cabin! Check in and out was the easiest we've have at our many Airbnb stays and we arrived to a fired up log burner and cosy interior. For people self-catering the microwave doubles up as a convection oven (handy to know if you're planning what food to take!). Lots of lovely walks and such a stunning surrounding area. Would love to stay again soon!

The cabin was a perfect getaway; despite the snow the cabin was cozy with the brilliant log burner and great insulation. It really is so well built. The kitchen was fully equipped with a cooker, kettle, pans etc… We were so impressed and would 100% stay again, especially as Jocelyn was such an amazing host both in helpfulness and friendliness throughout our stay. 10/10

I booked this for my parents 40th Birthday and asked if Charlottle would be able to put banner and balloons up for him which she did. it was so nice a cozy when we arrived absolutely spot on to description Smelt so clean as well we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back maybe in the summer. thank you so much 😊 xxx

We had such a relaxing time staying at the Loki Hut! The cabin was so cozy and peaceful - a perfect place to unwind. On our check-out day, it had snowed a lot, which made everything look even more beautiful, but it did make leaving a bit tricky. Thankfully, Dean, one of our hosts, was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure we got out safely and even helped tow us part of the way! He was so kind and helpful, and it really made such a difference. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting, we couldn’t recommend the Loki Hut more. We’re already excited to come back!

The cabin was just what I expected it to be: very cozy, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Gwion was a very responsive and helpful host throughout my stay. Logwood was provided upon request and was dropped off by Gwion himself and also by a man working on the farm down the road, who was also an extremely friendly chap. There are shops 10/15 mins drive away and plenty of scenic landscape to explore nearby also. I’d highly recommend this place to others and would happily stay here myself again in the future.
