The kitchen is really well equipped & there is a washer dryer. The dining area (ground floor) is great for an evening meal & there is a view of the harbour from many of the rooms. The lounge has amazing views of the harbour and is located on the first floor along with the twin bedroom and main bathroom.

We had a lovely few days here, it was exactly as described and the bed was massive and super comfy! The box of goodies was a lovely gift, and even had Easter eggs because we were staying over Easter! It was easy to find and Bo was really quick to respond. It’s easy to get around the New Forest from here, and The Horse and Groom is well worth a visit, just a 10 min walk away - friendly owner and delicious foods. We would highly recommend and will be back if we visit the New Forest again.

We had a two night stay in the stables, unfortunately upon arrival the heating/hot water had a fault, The hosts were quick to do anything they could to help, and even allowed us a free nights stay in the ' farm house'! This was all amended quickly the following day and we were offered another stay in the 'farm house' as an apology. In matter of a fact we were owed no apology! We had a fantastic stay and regardless of uncontrollable problems we felt nothing but comfortable. Thank you for all your help and handling a panic situation with grace. We absolutely will come back and will be recommending to people we know :)

fantastic property with an amazing view which gets better with the balcony where you can walk out and take in the wonderful views of the bay. everything you could possibly need is provided in this exceptionally clean property, with the added welcoming touches of fresh flowers sweets and a bottle of fizz were the icing on the cake . Steve is a fantastic and friendly host who responded quickly when we needed a boost in heating on a chilly evening if you are looking for a cozy and comfortable get away with a magnificent sea view look no further just , we counting down the days until our next stay already in May . thank you Steve for an amazing holiday home 10/10

We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

We had the most fantastic time - the lodge was clean, beautifully furnished and cosy on a cold March evening with the wood burner - loved the record player with the albums - The little touches such as biscuits, coffee and croissants were appreciated as were the refillable bottles of hand wash, shampoo etc. You can immediately tell that the owners have put a lot of hard work and love into their property. My friends and I were together for our 50th birthday celebrations and downtime from our hectic lives and we couldn’t have picked a more idyllic spot. Beautiful walks, fabulous scenery and such a calm quiet place. An ideal location to explore the coast and also the local high street with pubs and restaurants is an easy walk - the hot tub was an absolute added bonus. All communication from the hosts was spot on - Thank you and we will be back again.

A great find! We had a lovely stay at Carl’s place, which was in a great location. Within easy walking distance to the beach, off road parking, clean comfortable annex with all the comforts of home. We had an amazing weekend at The Bungalow in Dorset. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning lake view and the peaceful setting. The bathroom was modern, with a powerful shower and fresh towels. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The hosts clearly put great care into ensuring a fantastic stay. We loved exploring the nearby walking trails and charming villages, but the bungalow itself was so wonderful that we spent most of our time enjoying its tranquility. We stayed with our dog over new year, from arrival we loved the place, great views from the bedroom just lying in bed and from the living room. A pub was only 0.3 miles from the house and we enjoyed a leisurely walk into Poole Quay crossing the Twin Sails Bridge, plenty of places to eat and drink with a dog, and somehow the walk back seemed quicker. Really enjoyed our stay and felt very home from home. The welcome box was super nice one for us and one for our dog, really nice touch.
