Bungalow vacation rentals in West Dorset District

Would highly recommend Candice & Dan’s accommodation. From the time of making the booking they were friendly and helpful. We needed to have oxygen delivered to the accommodation and they were great at helping with the arrangements. The check in instructions were simple and clear as were directions to the site. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, plenty of space and really comfortable. Great location and walking distance to Christchurch town and a 20 minute drive to Avon/Mudeford beach.

Lovely property in a quiet area. Short walk to the beach. Several craft shops to visit. Nice walk through to Bridport and the market there. We would recommend eating at the George. Nice pub and great food.

We thoroughly loved our stay and would like to make a return visit asap. We love swanage and the surrounding countryside but Blake’s place for comfortable and a perfect location

We have previously stayed at the bungalow and will likely stay again. It’s ideal for families with small children with the park opposite being a real added bonus. There is plenty of space and having 3 bathrooms is a rare luxury! The views are stunning with the beach, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hosts are warm and responsive and were extremely accommodating. The break is just what we needed!

Dave's bungalow was ideal for our needs, which were about accessibility but also allowing dogs to stay. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard and very clean. The bathroom is wonderful and although the kitchen is a work in progress, it's quirky and well equipped. The garden is enclosed and dog safe, with a handy path behind it. Dave provided us with some good recommendations; Budleigh Salterton beach was lovely to visit on a warm Friday evening. Overall we had lovely relaxing break and would recommend this accommodation.

Good value accommodation in a nice house in a quiet area of Swanage. Good facilities and a comfortable bed. Kathy also provided cereals and milk for breakfast. There was also a useful microwave in the room which I used for morning porridge . Would be happy to stay with Kathy again.

This house is all about the location, with fantastic views and only a few minutes walk down to the beach. There is a high street nearby with plenty of shops for whatever you might need. As per the other reviews, the house is in need of some care and attention. Was disappointed to find there was no toilet paper or soap when we arrived, not the end of the world, just an inconvenience. The house is spacious and was great for our needs, we had a great stay. Would recommend.

Great location in Mudeford close to beach and walks,near to transport links to get around the region.Very quiet local area.Bungalow was spacious,clean and very well equipped.Garden was lovely,enclosed and safe for dogs, a great place to be.Mudhuts support was proactive and responsive.We had a great 4 days and would book again!

We are a group of mature ish Ladies who got together for a Christmas catch us. 3 travelling from Worcestershire the other up from Plymouth. Sue and Ken’s Property without a shadow of a doubt is the best Airbnb I’ve booked and stayed at. Right from the beginning of my enquiry Sue was very responsive and very helpful. Booked it quite a few months ago as we wanted to go to the Bath Christmas Market. Midsommer Norton is only a 15 minute drive from Bath. We chose to use the local bus service so we could all have a Drink. Direct Bus to Bath Bus Station that took 35 minutes. We met Sue and Ken when we arrived by fluke lovely couple. Their property is stunning and extremely clean and tidy. Very comfortable warm stay. Can really recommend the local Indian Takeaway Masala delivered for £1.50 and the quality of the Food was excellent and a lot of it. All in all a perfect stay will definitely use this property again as a good base to meet up. Highly recommended.

Wow, what an amazing place. Cath was a great host, meeting us at the property, even baking is a cake, showing us round and recommending pubs and running routes in the area. Loved the hot tub and wood fire. Bedrooms were great sizes. It had everything we wanted and even more, we didn't even get chance to play pool or table football. Great walks in the area, with lovely pubs. To be honest we didn't want to actually leave the house, as it was such a great, sociable space. Definitely looking to book again next year!
