The kids and I had the best time! Having the sea and beach on our doorstep was incredible. Fossil hunting, fishing, walks, amusements, great food and a very cute little cabin to call our home for 3 days. Waking up and seeing the sea every morning was the icing on the cake. Thank you Neil & Sarah for letting us enjoy some of the magic. We very much hope to be back soon.

We had a fantastic time staying at James and Emma’s. Whilst the location is tucked away off the normal path, their clear instructions made it easy to find. Their restaurant recommendations were also great and meant we found some real gems that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We would love to stay again if we were ever back in the area.

We had a great few days. The hosts are a lovely couple who were extremely accommodating. We enjoyed exploring the lovely area. The place has a kitchen but there’s also a great pub serving food next door. Big bathroom with a newly installed rain shower. Thanks for everything.

Had a lovely two nights at the Apple Barn. Jocelyn was so friendly and helpful, and the location was brilliant, very central to Bruton. We had everything we could need and really appreciated the little touches like being left some home made cookies, bread and milk. Thanks so much Jocelyn for a wonderful stay

We had a lovely stay at The Granary. The house was pristine, the views were beautiful and it’s in a great location, not far from Bath. Jenna was also very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It was an amazing, peaceful getaway, definitely would recommend.

What a fantastic gem the Potting Shed was. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. A wonderful setting and had everthing we needed. Tamzin was on hand for any questions we had and we met her and her lovely friendly dogs. The bed was very comfy and the whole place was nice and warm. We've stayed in a lot of AirBnB'ss, and this was one of the best yet. Claire's place was very well presented, with everything we needed for a quiet weekend getaway. The location is ideal for Dorchester, and for exploring the Dorset countryside. The place was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the wood burner made the place very cosy indeed! Claire was very communicative and friendly, and she went out of her way to make us feel at home.

Such a great place to stay! It has everything you need to instantly feel right at home. The welcome package was a lovely touch and included a few generously sized dog biscuits along with some treats for myself which went down especially well with my pup! Jacqui gave us out privacy, but was always super responsive when we needed something. I’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back myself again in the near future!

This holiday cottage was wonderful and contained all the comforts of home. The bed and pillows were super comfy and I slept really well. Perfect location to explore the area and close to town. Parking was free and convenient. Lynne was on site and always available. Communication was excellent. Lovely garden with koi pond was a bonus relaxation.

Mark and Maria’s place was an absolute dream to stay in. We booked it very last minute on the day due to our previous booking cancellation. They were very responsive and understanding about what happened to our previous booking. The place is very good for families. It is spacious and clean and a peaceful area. There is a close Sainsbury’s and KFC so quite convenient for quick food shopping. The best part of the place is the amazing hot tub. It’s very good for winter and for friends to chill with. We are very thankful for Mark and Maria as the angels who rescued our almost disastrous minibreak. Thanks and definitely highly recommended.

Spent a lovely few days here, lovely hosts. Very cosy getaway, clean well equipped and great water pressure/heating. Couldnt ask for anything more. Great for walks to the Tor and Chalice well and an easy walk to town. Will be back again.

Peace and quiet. Lots of walks from the village. Easy access to Exeter and further ibto Devon.
