Beachfront vacation rentals in West Dorset District

WOW! What a fabulous bungalow and location. 4 of us and a dog stayed for a few days in April. The location is stunning, just minutes’ walk from Seaton Hole beach and the fabulous Jurassic Bites café and a short, spectacular wander from the beautiful town of Beer. The bungalow itself has everything you could wish for, including a walled/fenced garden that kept my dog happy and provided us with incredible sea views and garden seating. Louise is a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a relaxing stay. The fresh scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Thanks so much for sharing your bungalow.

myself and my partner and our dog chez had a 3 night stay. looking for peace and quiet and that was exactly what we got. The property was immaculate. Shower was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. Many thanks to lisa for having us stay in your lovely home.

The apartment is lovely and in the most perfect location, right on the harbour. There are loads of places to eat right on your doorstep. Can also walk to beach and shops easily. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again next time in Weymouth.

Lovely house with the added bonus of a parking space. The house was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. It was very well stocked with everything you could want and it's a very easy short walk to the beach. I absolutely would recommend this.

From the communication, to the quality of the accommodation & amenities to the welcoming touches with Prosecco & snacks, your thoughtfulness just made our holiday perfect!! The decor was bright, modern & beautiful; the house and furniture was spotless and the house had everything you would need for a weekend getaway. We were 9 people and a dog and there was ample room for everyone. We couldn’t be happier. The only issue is that since this was our first Airbnb adventure, we’ve now got our bar set too high 😊 Thanks once again for allowing us a fabulous few days in Bournemouth in your beautiful house.

A lovely, comfortable place to stay, with everything you need and in a great location, close to the beach as well as the town centre, but quiet as well. And best of all, the flat has super views of the Estuary and the spectacular sunsets. Jennifer is a great host, helpful and friendly. We've had a very relaxing break, and definitely hope to be back. Highly recommend.

A delightful stay in wonderful surroundings, views are sublime, home from home facilities, dog friendly property with lots of walks, well equipped kitchen although we didn't really cook as there are so many restaurants and bars to try! Julie ensured we had everything we needed and communicated well. look forward to a return visit when we have a bit more time to enjoy ourselves.

Lovely little caravan on a family run park. Caravan was clean and today and had necessary amenities required for our stay. Location was great, just a stones throw from Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach. Heated outdoor pool on site and small lounge / bar area. Parking spot right next to caravan.

We have just stayed at The Wales Retreat for the 2nd time (the first time being 3 years ago). This place truly is a retreat. The location is fabulous, a lovely quiet site and sitting on the comfortable chairs on the decking, all you can hear is the sound of the waves and the sea. All the different options for seating, means that there is a seat suitable for everyone. The garden is secure for dogs and there is an area for fire pits and BBQ. The Wales Retreat is true to the photos. It's spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It is a home from home and has all the facilities you need to make it a fabulous holiday. Emily keeps you informed of all the instructions you need to check in and a number is provided should you need it if you have any issues. There is a pub onsite which serves food in the evening and also has a children's play area. The walk down to the beach is not an easy one, but it is worth it. This is a five star accommodation and we look forward to staying again.

Great little 2 bedroom home, good location and walkable into Brixham Town (25/30 minutes). Didn’t get chance to use all the facilities as there was plenty on offer in the local area. Had a lovely break away during Easter.

We had such a lovely time at Sunset View. After a little blip getting started (which was very quickly resolved), we quickly settled in and felt right at home in Emily's comfortable and well thought out caravan. Devon Cliffs is a huge site but the van is in a great position in a quiet cul de sac so you're not 'on top' of other people. Only a 5 minute walk to the leisure area and shop and we had a lovely sea view when the sun came out! We really loved it and will definitely be back.

Another amazing time spent with family and friends in such a beautiful location. It feels like home and right now with a bad back, and not much walking possible, this is such a lovely place just to sit and watch the view change.

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed with plenty of parking for all 3 of our cars. Goodrington was a lovely sun trap out of the wind, we loved Cantina! The beds were so comfy and every room so light & spacious.

What a fabulous house for a family break! So much space that for the 11 of us to spread out in,we never felt over crowded. The house was very well equipped,we could all comfortably sit down to eat. The garden was very safe for the children to run around in and it was such a quiet area. David was very responsive to any query I had. I think we could be back next year!

A truly luxurious peaceful weekend with good friends. Beautiful home, so comfortable- had everything we needed. Location is excellent for beach/es and walks. Comfortable beds, plenty of room: six of us did yoga in the hall! Hot tub was fun, plenty of outdoor chairs and tables and the BBQ was perfect for a meal on the Saturday eve. Host Louise was lovely. Karen and John's home was the perfect, surprisingly spacious retreat for our relaxing long weekend. Our children absolutely loved exploring all the rooms and playing hide-and-seek! The thoughtful Easter basket they left was such a sweet and appreciated touch. Despite some truly awful weather on our first day, we were so grateful for how cosy and comfortable the flat was to return to. The property is clearly freshly refurbished, beautifully presented, and immaculately clean – honestly, it's probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!

The chalet location is beautiful Private, peaceful,the sound of waves crashing on the shore - for us particularly this was so poignant. The chalet is bigger inside than expected and as my husband said, ‘well appointed’. It has everything you need. Walks, fishing, friendly locals, good restaurants, nearby farm shops. I so wish I could stay again, for me, for my husband, the chalet, and West Bexington, will remain in my memory forever as somewhere painfully beautiful. Maybe one day in the future I can come here again. Please enjoy your time here, the host is so genuinely kind. This will become your most favourite Air BnB in the area.
