Tiny house vacation rentals in Southern California

We had a lovely stay. The cabin was cozy and beautifully decorated. Less than a 15 minute walk to town. We will be back. Bonus having a washer and dryer.

Lovey Dovey was nothing short of hospitable and welcoming! The house was clean and provided pretty much ALL amenities you may need from a washer and dryer with pods to that hair dryer you always forget at home! 10/10 would recommend and would stay there again.

Home was perfect, enjoyable, and comfy for humans and pets! Spacious enough outside to relax and enjoy the sun with outdoor activities. Location is quiet and quaint. Would be our go-to for any future Idyllwild trips!

Beautiful place with lots of amenities and things to do. We stayed at the Playhouse and it was charming. Loved the water supply. Be prepared for the bees while eating by the benches but we are in the middle of the forest so expected. John was friendly and funny. Worth a visit and would come back here camping!

Amazing place to stay when skiing at big bear. Couch bed was great addition and place was full of games and Xbox to enjoy time

We loved our stay at Cozy Cottage. Host was so responsive and amazing and so attentive to detail. We had the sweetest welcome sign, my kids felt so special. She even had bowls and a bed for our puppy. We definitely had a great time and can’t wait to come back!!

An amazing home away from home experience with lots of coziness and gorgeous surroundings. We are so happy to had found a hidden gem only an hour away from L.A. The cabin was easy to find. It was also very clean and private. We enjoyed the backyard and water creek very much. We can't wait to be back again. Thanks again Mona!

Wonderful stay at the cottage! Fit four adults well. Great location- walk to shops and restaurants. Aimee made sure to greet us and that we had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommend!

Very peaceful spot, super clean. The hot tub is a fun addition and the view from the place is beautiful! Easy to get to and a great place to relax.

Excellent place to stay again,a lot of communication with Mrs. Rocio, she knows how to orient you and is on the lookout at all times, the room is very cozy makes you feel at home.

I enjoyed staying at Sarah’s place,it was an ideal spot for a peaceful getaway from the busy city. The home was generally clean and tidy, which I appreciated. I had a lovely stay overall, and I appreciate the care put into the space.

Loved my stay with Joelle and CJ, they provided great amenities and the view is absolutely gorgeous. They do a great job in making you feel right at home, while also maintaining privacy for guests. Really love what they did with the guest house overall, it’s very well designed and thought out! The patio lanterns and lights were also a wonderful touch to add to an already cozy ambience. I have already recommended this place to others and would not hesitate to come back :)

I had just a great time!! The house was clean and private. It looked just like the picture. It was amazing to be able to look at the stars from the hot tub!! Will definitely stay again. The host was amazing!!

Perfect place for a weekend get away! Cabin is super clean and great for a single person or couple. Lana & Alex were amazing hosts super responsive and helpful even set up a fire pit and got fire wood for me! The place itself is very clean and very well stocked which from my experience is above and beyond effort. I loved the area it was quiet and peaceful.

We stayed a week and this small house had everything two people needed for a very pleasant stay. It is very comfortable, relaxed, but also clean and tidy. There were many small touches that made it special. Location put you right in the midst of coffee shops and restaurants.

What an absolute GEM! We enjoyed everything about this little slice of heaven. Description and pictures are accurate! Although it’s even more beautiful in person. The views are unmatched! We enjoyed watching sunrises and sunsets. The fire bowl kept us cozy on cool evenings. Lots of cool birds to listen to and watch. Such a perfect place to relax, unwind and connect with nature. Close enough to Vineyards/restaurants/grocery. Would recommend Stone Brewery and Highland Valley Winery. We hope to visit this magical place again :)

Beautiful home and views! Host were responsive and gave clear instructions on how to arrive at the house for people who don’t have 4WD which was very appreciated and thoughtful! Hope to come back!

1,000 characters isn’t enough to say all the things about Maria & Sergio. Wonderful little home I would absolutely live in! I stayed 9 days waiting for my house to be ready in Morongo Valley and were this spot available for rent while I was shopping, I would have moved in! Maria is an absolute darling, there’s an awesome wrap around yard for my 2 gremlins (mini schnauzers) to run around and play or do their business, a grill outside with patio furniture, big screen TV, I mean, I truly couldn’t have asked for more! All the amenities you need and then some. The location is near to everything you could ever want, easy and close access to I-10, Walmart right down the road, tons of restaurants… I was sad to leave! Oh! Washer and dryer (with detergent & dryer sheets), fridge was stocked with food and drinks, she brought me a box of dates, always responded to messages, clean and nice furniture, flooring and shower. I wish I could give more stars and I 100% recommend this Casita Bonita!!!

I really enjoyed staying here, Terry and Jana were very nice and welcoming, they provided snacks, drinks, shampoo and conditioner, blankets, towels and almost anything I might need during my stay.

First and foremost, the directions to the location were spot on, super clear and easy to follow, so there was no way of getting lost. The pictures honestly don’t do this place justice. The view is absolutely beautiful, and the whole atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. It was exactly the kind of escape from reality I was hoping for. The space had everything we needed for our short stay, which made things really convenient. The only slight challenge I had was using the bathroom, but that’s likely because I’m 6 months pregnant, just a bit uncomfortable for me, but nothing major. Overall, it was a lovely, serene getaway and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone needing a quiet, restful break.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home! The outdoor shaded sitting area was so relaxing and comfortable. The inside was well decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked. The hosts are great with communication and providing clear instructions. We loved walking around the back and watching the sunrise. Beautiful home with beautiful surrounding nature!

I love this little tiny house. Everything about it was great. It’s a little community with different kinds of small housing, including nightly campers. It’s totally quiet and centrally located with just the most beautiful surroundings. I can’t rave enough about Borrego Springs….Oh yes, the kitchen was really well stocked and for some reason, I really loved the bed. I don’t know whether it was new or one of those memory mattresses, but it was really comfortable. I like that there was a carport to cover my car and a nice place to sit outside with an umbrella. A great week!
