Family-friendly vacation rentals in South West England

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and it was just as good this time around. If you’re after peace and quiet in the countryside away from it all, this is the perfect spot. The outdoor hot tub and fireplace/oven makes it even better. Thanks for such a brilliant stay. I’m sure we’ll be back again.

What a gem of a find! We absolutely loved our stay here. From the river below to the hot tub, everything was so peaceful- exactly what we were looking for. The house itself is beautiful and has everything that you need for a family stay. We will definitely be returning!

We had a gorgeous couple of nights at Helen’s cottage. Ideal for the two of us and our 2 year old daughter. Spacious and exactly as described, in fact bigger than we were expecting. Helen sent us detailed directions (although they weren’t needed, easy to find via postcode) and gave us a warm welcome, showed us how to use the hot tub etc then left us to it, but was on hand if we needed her. Thank you for a lovely stay Helen, we hope to be back soon 😊

We stayed here for my Husbands 50th birthday, lovely place kitchen well equipped and hot tub was a nice touch. Lovely walks and easy to get to, would recommend

We had an amazing Christmas at Jan and Jamie’s property. There was even a Christmas tree in the lounge. Everything was a described. The house is very spacious and the hot tub was perfect for dark, cold evenings. We did have a bit of trouble finding the property . But we put a pin on goggle maps for others in our party. Not really anything to complain about. I would suggest a few notes on appliance, as we did not know how to use an induction hob . But always u tube to the rescue. The fridge did have a broken salad box and did seem to collect water I it. But this is just being picky. When overall our family had an amazing Christmas. Would definitely like to go back in the summer . Spa facilities also good with tennis courts. All used on our visit.

The house was gorgeous, perfect location for walking to the beach & pubs. Had everything we could need & more when it came to cooking our Christmas dinner. There was even a Christmas tree! Only disappointment was the hot tub not working but these things happen. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay, so relaxing and incredibly peaceful! We were made to feel very welcome and appreciated all the info on the local area and amenities. Would thoroughly recommend!

The house was really comfortable, clean and well furnished. The kitchen was really well equipped, had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The check in was easy, as was the check out. Really happy with our stay there. Recommended.

Everything went perfect during my stay. The whole place is in excellent conditions and well kept, besides having all the facilities to give the guest perfect autonomy during the stay. Mike's been an excellent host as well, always looking to have all the details explained and willing to help. If you're planning on staying in the Bridgend area, look no further.

Dave and Stacey went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, offering us an early check-in, which was incredibly helpful for my family. Their communication was excellent throughout, making everything seamless. The accommodation was conveniently located, close to many amenities, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we’d love to return during the summer. Highly recommend!

This is such a beautiful house with a beautiful garden! It’s super comfortable with lots of space. Our kids especially loved playing with the rabbits in the garden and the trampoline, and all the books and toys at the house. The house is in a brilliant location, near to fabulous beaches and lots of local amenities. Highly recommended - We hope to be back!

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

We had a lovely time staying at the cottage. The cottage was a great base for our exploring round the Isle of Wight. I can imagine the decking area is lovely in the summertime. Lots of space out the back for our dog to run around outside. The rooms were good size and clean and the kitchen well stocked with utensils and cooking items. Gail was very helpful and responsive and we are very grateful!

As soon as we walked in the door we loved this place! What a gem! The living area has large windows overlooking a peaceful valley full of sheep and chickens - a truly beautiful view to enjoy at any time of day. The house was wonderfully warm - as was the welcome by Tiffany. We felt personally greeted and our hosts could not have been more helpful. The house itself is gorgeous! Spacious and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. I had the best nights' sleep - the beds are so comfortable! The place is quiet and peaceful - you feel hidden away - yet Lyme Regis is just on the doorstep. We spent a day walking around Lyme, drinking coffee and visiting the shops, and one day just relaxing in Little Winter's Cottage. We absolutely loved the place and we will definitely be back! My wife and I had the most relaxing time at the "Condo" it was a great location to explore, the property was just perfect for the two of us and had everything we wanted for the weekend. It was clean and tidy with a wonderful log burner which was wonderful to sit in front of and listen to the wind and the rain on an evening. Jacqui was very responsive and helpful. The black dog just down the hill was welcoming and does the best Sunday lunch. A great find!!

We were a group of 15 friends and family - adults, teenagers and children - celebrating new year together. The property suited us perfectly and had everything we needed for a great few days. The location is excellent for the Jurassic coast beaches and Lyme Regis.

We had a wonderful stay with all our family to celebrate a special birthday - we loved the house, all able to eat together around the table was wonderful, enjoying chatting and drinking in the beautiful lounge and the younger ones loved the hot tub and braver ones the swimming pool. Great position for all the lovely New Forest areas and walks

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. New year’s stay to celebrate a 50th birthday with a family of 12. Bedrooms were spacious with a variety of layouts offered by Gill to suit our needs. We loved the hot tub and sauna, especially as it snowed on our second night. The log burner was perfect to warm up after a brisk walk to Harry’s cider farm and the local farm shop (recommend the fresh milkshakes there). Wonderful place. Thank you, would love to revisit and try out the pool in warmer months.

Thank you Paul, Sandra & Sam for a wonderful stay at Mistletoe Farm to celebrate my Mum’s 60th birthday. Everything was exactly as we hoped and more! The bar, garden kitchen and party room were fantastic areas. We loved the hot tub, karaoke, log burner and twinkly lights! The Somerset evening was brilliant - welly wanging was so much fun and we all really enjoyed the cider tasting and hog roast. Thank you so much for catering for the non-drinkers and veggies in the group! Paul was always available on his phone if we needed assistance, and always made sure we were warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed spending time in the kitchen and living area in the annexe - this is a really cosy spot. The surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk to Hornsbury Mill nearby. We would also recommend the 5 dials pub which is a 5 minute drive away - really lovely food, good service and a great atmosphere. The guests ages ranged from 2 to 80+ and everyone had a fantastic time! 🥳🎉

We stayed for a couple of nights close to Christmas, wonderful stay in this beautiful period home, with the village looking very pretty and festive. Having use of a sauna and pool, while it was frosty outside; made our stay particularly enjoyable!

A fantastic cottage for my family of 4. The location was amazing and everything was perfect for us to enjoy a few days walking the beautiful cliffs of the SW path. Highly recommend
