Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South West England

What a fabulous house for a family break! So much space that for the 11 of us to spread out in,we never felt over crowded. The house was very well equipped,we could all comfortably sit down to eat. The garden was very safe for the children to run around in and it was such a quiet area. David was very responsive to any query I had. I think we could be back next year!

Lovely property with super cool styling. So deceptive - the understated front aspect gives way to a spacious, light and airy home. Relatively quiet given its Main Street position. Parking behind a bonus and genius idea! Everything you need for a great stay as a group or family. Would recommend and already have!

Lovely comfortable, spacious home. Everything we needed was provided, including milk, bread & tea and coffee, plus some delicious treats. The house was warm, spotlessly clean, and the instructions left for us to follow, clear and precise. It’s nice to stay somewhere in these post Covid days where such attention to super hygiene is still followed. Many thanks Wendy.

I stayed at this property with my family and easily one of the best Airbnb I have stayed in terms of comfort, location, surroundings, hospitality, communication from host. The hosts are gem of people who are very thoughtful in providing amenities and services to their guests. They had complementary welcome kit and had two pages with instructions to use listed amenities of the house as well as local grocery and food recommendation. I always had very proactive and positive conversations with Laura and Mike. I would recommend this airbnb to family (esp with kids) and friends. It is so relaxing that you can just relax and bbq in the backyard.

Amazing place for children, the outdoor space is magical and so much for them to do. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts were lovely. A few things in the house were a bit wonky but overall a great stay.

Lovely pre Christmas stay in Karen’s property . A party of 7 Adults 2 teens and a dog , we loved the extra touch of the Christmas tree , and made full use of the darts board and table tennis table . Lovely views, the house was in a prime location , fully equipped, very clean and highly recommended .

We had a perfect and Peaceful getaway was perfect for friends as there was plenty of homely spots and a lovely kitchen. the hosts were so helpful and very responsive. the property was clean and well equipped. Perfect location for a visit to Bath. We really enjoyed the walk from the house (along the canal) into the town. Margaret was an awesome host. She let us check-in early, and she left us some fresh milk for our tea and coffee upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment in a great location near to Cardiff Bay, which is within walking distance. Great amenities in the flat, lovely little extras like disposable slippers & toothbrushes. Clean & tidy. Dilan & Sumali great hosts with great communication. Would recommend & would rebook.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for 10 days from the US to attend a wedding. The flat allowed plenty of space for my family of 4 for the duration. It was nice to have a kitchen and be a short walk from 2 grocery stores. The town is beautiful, and people were so friendly. Staff at the Crooked Swan were a dream. We got to know several of them during our visit. A few recommendations: House instructions would be ideal. The WiFi network and password wasn’t posted, so we had to email the Swan, and it took a bit to get it sorted. It took us a few days to figure out how to open up the large ceiling windows throughout. There’s a pole in the primary bedroom to do it, but we didn’t realize what it was right away. It was very hot when we arrived, so that would have been helpful to know at check-in. It also would be great to have a large broom or vacuum, as the floors got quite dusty over our long stay. Overall, we loved it. I certainly recommend to others, especially families.

Really great value, finished to a good standard and very clean, had everything we needed for a base for the long weekend with two small children and a small dog. Coms were really quick and Amanda was very friendly and accommodating. Has a great parking space and really close to the beach and southbourne. Thanks for our stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pink House. It is a spacious and comfortable apartment with everything we needed to feel at home. The location is ideal, only a few minutes from the town, shops & beach. Catherine was a great host, very responsive & the Welsh cakes were lovey, thank you! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic apartment beautifully designed with all home comforts at your fingertips, great pub across the street and Sue and Phil were so welcoming and friendly! The apartment is such a great space with a fantastic open plan living/kitchen/dining area and great views! The bedrooms are comfortable and cosy and both en-suite. An easy walk to Truro town centre or the bus stops right outside and it’s a short ride to town Would recommend 100%!

Great flat with easy access to everything in the centre of Woolacombe. Short walk to the beach (even with a surfboard!). Free parking. Easy to find and get access to the property. The flat is on the 3rd floor, but there aren't many steps and easy enough to get up there without any hassles. The flat is light and airy with good sized bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area. Nice touch with tea, coffee, milk, cereals and biscuits on arrival. Great communication and fantastic host will definitely be visiting again!

Exactly as described and as shown on the photos! Super convenient and cosy and the hosts were really welcoming. I felt at home instantly. The location is perfect, everything is so close, there’s the train and bus stations, restaurants, shops and more. I a 100% recommend staying there 😊!

Absolutely amazing stay at Samantha's place! Communication was excellent from start to finish. The flat is truly beautiful - the photos don't do justice to how spacious and open the main rooms actually are. The location couldn't be better - just a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to the New Forest. We were able to explore so many beautiful sights all within easy reach. The beds were very comfortable and all appliances were new and worked perfectly. We hope to return again soon!

This is a gorgeous flat in a stunning location, directly opposite Tenby's South Beach and a 5 min walk from the town centre. The flat has been beautifully furnished with lots of creative touches here and there. Alison sent some very helpful pre-arrival information and was accessible to responding to our queries during our stay. Highly recommended!
