We had the pleasure of staying at Luis and Helena's stunning stone home, and it was truly a wonderful experience! Luis greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel right at home. He provided recommendations for local dining and must-see attractions. The house itself is a masterpiece, filled with antique charm and exquisite materials, it’s the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. This is a fantastic spot, we left feeling refreshed and grateful for our stay. If you're looking for an authentic and serene experience, look no further!

The view from the house is absolutely beautiful and the house is very modern and comfortable! The pool is also lovely!

This is my very first rental on Airbnb with my partner and what a shock, the villa is wonderful. The arrival was perfect because the panoramic view is exceptional. The care given to the check-in by Simone and Frédéric is great because they took care to explain everything to us so that we did not waste our time with our stay. Here we are far from the "lockbox" as I have already known it. The decoration, the quality of the furniture and materials are an undeniable reference and make the stay even more amazing. The comfort of the beds is just perfect as is the soundproofing of the villa. Staying in this beautiful villa is a joy every moment. From waking up, with sunrises, to the sound of the surrounding nature on our morning walks. All shops and restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk from the property. What more can we say than thank the owners for this pearl made available to us.

The experience exceeded expectations, Ana explained the amenities of the house very well and indicated several places to eat and visit. The house was impeccably clean and organized, with a very well-equipped kitchen. The atmosphere of the house is very welcoming. In short, Ana was always very helpful and hospitable, it made us comfortable. I highly recommend it.

A really calm get away with a very warm welcome that makes you feel at home straight away. Quality interior, with nice wooden furniture and good quality woodstove, supplied with all the wood you might need: we felt welcome. If travelling with dogs: very enjoyable garden with perfect fence. The comfortable terrace for enjoying the sun even in the end of november.

It's been a great stay with family and friends. The house is wonderful, according to what is shown in the pictures and description. Joaquim has been on the lookout and was quick to respond at all times. Super-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds, clean and large bathrooms. Nothing negative to note.

Really: a paradise on earth. 45 minutes drive from Lisbon on a quiet road, ideal for visiting the city. Gigantic large house with enough bedrooms and three beautiful bathrooms. Spaciously equipped kitchen. The house is in a secluded villa neighborhood and is secured as a fort knox, with steel panels that you can close for all windows. They not only protect well, but they also provide less heat inside (missing air conditioning is actually not missed, it stays cool enough), and shield all the noise from the outside. And the pool, the giant pool: WoW. Bigger than we had at many campsites in the past. In short: not cheap, but if you want to unpack, this is highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous renovated Quinta set amongst beautiful landscape and gardens of line and lemon trees, that easily fit a family celebration of 17. Each room with an en suite made it feel like our own boutique hotel. Incredible beautiful surroundings with multiple dining spaces- we were amazed at the value and would recommend immediately!

Memorable few days at this mansion. It's historic charm is preserved and we enjoyed living in the past, with a big open fireplace for the cooler evenings. (Be gentle with furniture, in order to help these vintage pieces last) Its a very spacious home, with guests having access just the ground floor. For the taller people in our group, the antique beds were on the smaller side, but it was a small compromise The pool and garden were great for relaxing, no busy roads nearby to keep the peaceful ambience. Manuel and Carolina were gracious and responsive hosts. Luisa is a very kind housekeeper who was available if we needed anything. There are two friendly dogs living on site who were keeping us company. We'll be back for sure.

Excellent stay. Clean, in good condition. Host always available for any issue. Less positive bridge: access to the house is done by a path of «dirt beaten», which may not be compatible with some cars.

We had a great stay! The place had lots of space both outside, by the pool, in the rooms, and in common rooms. A very nice dining area outside by the kitchen. The place is quite rural so we were glad we had a car. Without this, it would probably be difficult to get around, and not least to shop, since the nearest shop was about 15 minutes to drive. We had the impression that there would be bikes available, but it turned out that these had to be rented for 10 euros per day. As we experienced the surroundings, biking around anyway was not so relevant. It may also be worth noting that there are two dogs living on the premises that move freely around outside and in common areas. For us there were no issues related to this. Both of them acted perfectly fine. The host is very nice and welcoming. We recommend the place and think it's ideal for a larger group who want a quiet rural stay with a focus on being together. Great amenities!

The best vacation we've had with your family! Thanks to Francisco and Filipa's hospitality and all the attention to detail they've had during our stay, and thanks to an absolutely wonderful house, we've had one of the best family weeks ever. It's the perfect house for a group of friends or family who want to enjoy a super relaxing stay. For the kids, the pool has protection all around, there is an indoor and outdoor play area, and everything is super safe, giving the children total freedom throughout the stay. We have sought this option to avoid the beaches this summer marked by Covid-19 and we really don't want anything else! Above the house, the super spacious outdoor and indoor spaces, with multiple options of space for convenience or to relax, the rooms are also super spacious, 3 of which are en-suite. The kitchen is huge and super well equipped, the barbecue is super professional... The garden is a real paradise! Thank you Francisco and Fiipa for providing us with this vacation to be unforgettable!

Very nice place for a Relaxing stay. Pool with great sun exposure. Large house with large rooms. Access to the river at the end of the street about 400mtr. Host very available at all times. I highly recommend it!

Loved the place. It was our home base for attending the Feira do Golega a short drive away. Tomar was an unexpected bonus! Will come back for a longer stay.

Everything went well. Great communication with the responsible people. locals with a lot of privacy....very good for a family vacation: with pool, bbq, games, bath towels...everything we need. Grata

We (a group of 3 adults and 3 teens) have just returned from a week at this fantastic property - the photos truly don’t do it justice. The house is spacious, spotless and very well equipped and we all loved the pool - the views are beautiful. Communication was quick and comprehensive and family members were on site to greet us on arrival - and available if needed throughout the stay. It was great to spend time away from the tourist trail in such beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommended

Very clean, pleasant space with a beautiful swimming pool, great BBQ area, 2-car garage, very clean, well cared for, equipped with everything that is needed for everyday life. From clothes, cookware, dishes, etc. I have spent vacations in several dwellings and have never found one so complete at all levels. All the surroundings, were of great sympathy and kindness (Odette & Horacio, sister-in-law, brother and mother). Who wants a nice place to relax, nothing better than this one. Note: the images do not live up to space. It is even larger, with a huge saltwater pool. A very nice and relaxed surrounding area. To talk about how much I enjoyed this experience, I would have to write a very extensive text. I only have to thank people like this, who care about providing good moments like this. It should be noted that at the level of appliances, there is absolutely nothing missing. And I end by thanking this beautiful experience.

Wonderful vacations We are a family of ten and we have spent 14 fantastic days in august 2024 at Joao’s family house at Salvaterra de Magos. The house is very big ( as presented in the pictures), very calm., very confortable (including excellent mattresses ) , very clean and with breathtaking views of fields mountains and birds. It is so well oriented that we did not suffer at any moment of heat . Almost no need to use the air conditioner The kitchen is big , functional and fully equipped with all necessary stuff The pool and gardens are wonderful and very well maintained as in the pictures It is close to all facilities and supermarkets and with very easy access for excursions on the Tajo river and to Lisbon area . The only inconvenient for us were the mosquitoes at the sunset . We would like to thank Joao for letting us sharing his wonderful family house , for his kindness and politeness and allowing us to have these wonderful vacations !!

This house was perfect for our two family group of 7. So much space, for everyone to find areas to relax in. The pool and the layout worked fantastically for us and the child everyone feeling safe at all times The furnishing were luxurious and “extras” were brilliant.
