An ideal place for those who want to escape the daily routine and rest. The place is fantastic for those who like quiet and walk in nature. We hope to return in the future.

We stayed at Nuno's place with our 2 young children and had a really great time. The kids especially enjoyed the garden, the animals and the many delicious oranges. The house is as described and with the extra game room inside there is also enough space to play when it is still too fresh or wet outside. For excursions you actually always need a car, but there are many great places to explore. We can definitely recommend Nuno's place! We enjoyed our time here!

Lovely and peaceful cosy house surrounded by beautiful woodlands. The location is great if you want tranquility. The garden/pool are lovely and well equipped with little tables and chairs dotted around. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. A mini supermarket is 8mn away other wise Pombal is 25mn. Flávio is super helpful and friendly. He recommended a few places to go and eat. We loved our stay and would recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The house is in a quiet area very near to all the Knights Templars castles which we wanted to visit. Having the small swimming pool was a great addition. There are lots of good restaurants nearby.

Perfect getaway and close enough to visit Fatima and surroundings. The house is perfect as well as the garden. Has everything you need to enjoy inside or outdoors. Isabel was there for the check in and general instructions. She’s so kind, always attentive answering the questions we had. We rented a car due traveling to Fatima one day and Porto. A truly gem to visit

Herdade da Maxuqueira is a spectacular place that I hope to be able to return. The interior and exterior areas are very well cared for, equipped and comfortable for the number of people who stay overnight. In addition, Sofia was a great guest always available for any questions that arose. I highly recommend it.

It was our 2nd stay at Mariana's, and it was another great time. The house and its quiet environment are ideal for a relaxing family sehour. The pool, trampoline, basketball hoop, and BBQ, everything is done to make sure everyone has a great time! Thanks to Maria Leonor for the welcome and her kindness!

What a peaceful and lovely place. I was greeted by the hosts upon arrival and got a tour of the property, including meeting the friendly animals. Then I got to take a fresh salad right from the garden! In the morning, there were sheep accompanying me up the driveway, and the night skies were great for stargazing. If you’re looking to get away from it all with formidable hosts, kill no further.

Absolutely fabulous renovated Quinta set amongst beautiful landscape and gardens of line and lemon trees, that easily fit a family celebration of 17. Each room with an en suite made it feel like our own boutique hotel. Incredible beautiful surroundings with multiple dining spaces- we were amazed at the value and would recommend immediately!

We had an amazing stay at Monte do Poejo! Truly a weekend to remember! The place looks even better than the pictures, everything is thought-out for a comfortable stay. You’ll never get bored there as the quinta has everything, from a guitar and a synthesizer to a swimming pool and a pool table :) But in all seriousness, it has all the amenities you can possibly need for a weekend getaway. Thanks Maria for being an amazing host and helping us in any way she could!

We enjoyed our stay at Ricardo’s. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were spacious and as advertised. It was noticeable that the hosts are making ongoing efforts to improve and modernise the spaces while maintaining some traditional charm. Everything we needed was provided. The pool was large with good depth variety, though it could benefit from better maintenance. Unlike other places, the automatic cleaning system ran only at night, so we often had to manually clear bugs from the surface before using it. We were a bit disappointed not to find some things, like darts and a hammock, that were shown in the photos. However, these were minor issues and had little impact on our overall stay. All the hosts offered exceptional hospitality, making us feel more like we had a personal guide than just a host. We enjoyed the daily bread deliveries and felt very welcome in the village and surrounding areas.

I rented this house to spend Christmas with my family that cale from abroad. The house was much bigger than we expected, our host Jorge was very helpful and responsive. We were very lucky with the weather so we spent most of our time eating outside. Kitchen was pretty well equiped. Evenings were a bit chilly as it a big house but have the fireplace was nice and cozy! I plan on renting this place again with some friends for sure! Thanks again!

what can I say! it was perfect in every way! From a beautiful location to a brilliant, friendly host everything was exemplary. The actual bnb was gorgeous and the amenities were great. can not praise it highly enough!

We love staying at the grandparents' farm Lourenço. A retreat in the middle of the mountain, perfect for resting and enjoying the best that nature has to offer. Always super attentive and ready to help, whatever it is (24 hours) We were also delivered the breakfast that was divine. The house is a 5-minute walk from the river, it's huge and the outer space is impeccable and very well taken care of. The house also has beyond the air-conditioned fireplace in all rooms. The only neighbors we have are a Dumbra and two very cute and friendly piggies.

An exceptional accommodation, with everything necessary for the convenience of the guests. Elevated Owner Friendship. Ease of recourse to third party aids. High Privacy in all rooms, with own toilets. To repeat, no doubt!

We booked Luís place for a special birthday & it was just the most amazing, rejuvenating place. The salt water pool was magical, beautiful, loving dogs on site, incredibly comfortable & luxurious feeling beds, bathrooms were spotless, lovely interior design modern Mediterranean style. The care takers were so caring, made a beautiful breakfast & catered for my dietary requirements. They were so kind, helpful & did everything to make us feel comfortable. We would have loved to stay longer & will be back for another special occasion in the future. Can’t recommend highly enough.

A very cozy and very well equipped house. The kitchen had everything (crockery, pots, pans, dishwasher). Very comfortable beds. Mosquito nets in almost every window, which were of very good quality and isolated the house from noise and wind. Right in front there is a task where you can have a coffee, soda or beer, but for other services (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, etc.) you have to go to Benedita by car (about 10 minutes). The area is quiet, with a lot of things to visit and see; Rio Mayor, Caldas, Péniche, Lourinha Dino Park,... The spectacular views of the house was a very pleasant stay, we felt at home at all times and Rosalina who did not welcome us and said goodbye was very kind and was attentive to us whenever we needed him.

Truly true: a paradise on earth. 45 minutes drive from Lisbon on a quiet road, ideal to visit the city. Gigantic large house with enough bedrooms and three beautiful bathrooms. Spaciously equipped kitchen. The house is in a secluded villa neighborhood and is secured as a fort knox, with steel panels that you can close for all windows. Not only do they secure well, but they also provide less warmth inside (lack of air conditioning is actually not a miss, it stays cool enough), and screens all the sound from outside. And the pool, the giant pool: WoW. Bigger than we had at many campsites in the past. In short: not cheap, but if you want to unpack it is highly recommended.

An idyllic and practical place. Very close to the freeway , very well connected. Keep in mind for upcoming visits to Portugal

Excellent stay. Clean, in good condition. Host always available for any issue. Less positive bridge: access to the house is done by a path of «dirt beaten», which may not be compatible with some cars.

The stay at Joël's went very well. The house is beautifully renovated, the host is very attentive ☺️
