Helen&Chris are lovely people. They gave our family a very warm welcome. We felt at home. Very neat and clean. The garden, pool and orangery are all spectacular. We loved spending our evenings at the taras or playing in the pool. Helen and Chris were very helpful with all instructions and sites or restaurants to visit. When we needed help they were very easy to communicate to. Highly recommend to visit Helen's & Chris's Orangery ☺️

A charming and cozy spot in a picturesque location. The place was clean, though I noticed a few small roaches on the kitchen counter—likely due to the building’s age and not the host’s fault. Parking was a bit of a challenge, and my only other issue was the lack of toilet paper, which was inconvenient since I arrived late at night and couldn’t purchase any upon arrival. Other than that, the place was perfect!

The place was unique, better than described super clean, very well equipped. We will come back very, very gladly. Many thanks to Karla 😍

Casa do Varatojo is a tranquil and healing location in a small town, offering warmth and hospitality beginning with Sara and her family, and continuing throughout the surrounding communities. I've lived in Portugal for three years in the southern part of the country, and was so impressed at how uncommonly welcoming and accepting of a total stranger the community members have been in this area. Casa do Varatojo itself is a great place to relax and unwind and explore surrounding destinations nearby, including Nazaré. The casinha where I stayed for several weeks was warm, cozy and clean, with a nice shower and little terrace. Sara and her family were helpful and always available if I needed help and information. I had a special request for my reservation, and Sara couldn't have been more accomodating. Finally, Sara offers yoga classes several times a week, and generously offered to let me use her yoga studio many times. It was a great stay! Thank you Sara and your lovely family!

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

Large apartment , ideal for a family with 3 children . Good location a few minutes from the city center with availability of a parking lot in the basement. We enjoyed the master suite . Simple glazing but we were only disturbed for one night because of a party in the apartment below.

Spectacular Experience! From the moment of the reservation to the check-out, Mrs. Sónia e o Sr. Rui were impeccable with us. Always very attentive and responsive to all the issues we had. The house itself is spectacular and corresponds to the description taken/the photographs. We were very happy with the choice and the conditions. The location of the condominium is very good. It is in a place is quiet and 20 min. from the large hypermarkets. The neighborhood is super friendly, and access to the pool is definitely a bonus. This all culminated in a great week of holidays! Definitely an experience to repeat. I highly recommend the home of Mrs. Sónia and Mr. Rui for those who want to visit Tomar and/or take a relaxing holiday away from the chaos of the city!
