Note for 2024. We have reduced our listing price by 20% for the year as there is construction work happening locally. Some works may be quiet or hundreds of meters away and past guests have said that it has not been a problem for them. We do want to be completely honest with potential guests. The Villa is on an exclusive private complex. 3 stories, with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, lounge, dining room, balcony and roof terrace and garden. Fibre internet. The Villa is in a quiet and peaceful location but has easy access to all local amenities, including supermarkets/shops , bars , restaurants, the Marina and Golden sand beach . A spacious , tastefully decorated villa , ideal for couples and families. Great combination of indoor /outdoor living - verandas and separate balcony with stunning sea views and mountain landscapes. We had an amazing stay! The villa was outstanding 👏 People were so kind in Madiera. Calheta is beautiful. We loved the swimming pool and made great use of it! Barbecue on decking with fantastic views and lovely garden with loads of space. Lovely marina in Calheta with amazing restaurants! We will be definitely going back 😍

We came for my mum's 60th and all absolutely loved it. The villa was very modern and exactly as described. Mariola was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. Location was very ideal, about a 15 min walk from the Old Town but note was quite hilly. It was also just around the corner from an Aldi & a Lidl. Taxis were very cheap and restaurants and bars all reasonably priced.

Craig is an amazing host, always here to help, very discreet, extremely responsive and flexible and super nice. His house was perfect for us as we stayed as 2 families, very well equipped, with multiple places to chill and relax as the day goes by, the pool is sensational and just perfect with kids. The lightings at night is great, we love the house and its garden. thanks so much Craig for this amazing stay.

Excellent stay with our family at the house. Bill was very responsive to requests - for example, the crib and high chair were not at the house when we arrived and the caretaker of the house didn't respond to my message. I sent a message to Bill and within 30 minutes he had taken care of the situation. We loved having the pool, though it was heated, it was understandably still a little chilly in early February. One thing to know about this location is that it is significantly cooler and more humid than Funchal. The sun doesn't rise above the hills (in February at least) to heat the patio until around 10 AM. Until that time a thick sweater is advisable. The house does have heaters and can be quickly heated. We wished there was more cookware to cook for our large group (it was sufficient, but could be improved) and let Bill know after our stay and he said he would have remedied it during our stay if we had let him know. Great host, lovely house! Also lovely location to drive to the West.

This house was amazing! The furniture and decor was top of the range. Every room had a wee private nook. The pool was fantastic and hosted very competitive water polo games between family members. We particularly valued the location as we could easily walk to three beautiful beaches and the town centre. It was expensive but a once in a lifetime experience for our extended family.

Amazing place to stay in the Algarve. If you’re not familiar with this area it’s a challenge to find a location that puts you in a place where coastal access is possible and the peace and quiet of Monchique is also available. An absolutely beautiful home with tons of character, views and space to spread out. We were here in the winter and used the living room fireplace a lot which was a nice treat. There’s a decent grocery store in Monchique but stocking up in a larger city beforehand is not a bad idea. Would recommend in a heartbeat and really hope we can come back.
