Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santarém District

A peaceful, rural location. The comfortable king size bed gave us our best few nights' sleep for months. We'd prearranged for a supply of groceries and paid them on our arrival. With a good stock of food and drink we could stay local and take advantage of exploring Ruth & Graham's vast expanse of fields with fig and olive trees and rambled through their wood down to the river. The facilities inside the barn/cottage are faultless, we had good internet connection and my husband was able to fulfill his work commitments and conduct a video conference. The bathroom/shower was spotless with strong water pressure so that just a gentle turn of the tap gave us perfect showers. Every aspect of what a visitor might need has been well thought through and provided. We took gentle strolls along tracks near the neighbouring tree plantations where the smell of eucalyptus was cleansing. I enjoyed their spring flowers and flocks of birds. I baked a cake and shared it with our hosts. Will rebook soon.

Casa da Margem is in an incredible place in Albufeira and the stay and vacation were memorable. The host João and the person in charge Mr. António was always 5 stars in communication, availability and proactivity. I highly recommend Casa da Margem.

We had some issues in the check in, our host mistake the dates and didn’t gave us the code to get into de building but everything was solve in an hour. It’s amazing place, big , comfortable, clean in a quiet location. The kitchen is very well equipped. It’s just a shame, not be able to use the swimming pool.

Very nice location for this very welcoming accommodation where everything has been thought out with care and attention. The host put himself in the tenant's shoes, thinking about every detail that would make the stay enjoyable. Everything was very clean and I recommend this place for a visit to the area.

I was looking for accommodation for a pilgrimage site where the accommodation opposite the hotels is in a very pleasant atmosphere with beautiful corridors in the apartment building and a view of a small part of the basilica. The kitchen has enough utensils for a quick lunch or breakfast. The bathroom is nice, clean. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable, the sofa bed in the second room is sufficient for a few days. Overall, I rate the accommodation as very good, I recommend it :)

It's been a fantastic choice. If we return to Fatima, we will stay in this apartment again. It was very clean, impeccable. With an Aldi next door to shop, but best of all, just a few minutes from the sanctuary of Fatima on one side and the road to get to the house of the shepherds on the other, it couldn't be better located. What my wife liked the most was the silence at night, we slept wonderfully, and that is very important. Thank you Rui for your kindness!

My husband and I loved our one week stay at Elsa's home and were sad to leave. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well outfitted, water pressure in the very spacious bathroom was great, and the balcony with table and chairs and view of the castle was amazing. The air conditioning came in handy for a quick cool down of the room, but it wasn't needed much. The location was a lot of fun, allowing us to walk all over town, and the restaurant recommendations were great. Our only difficulty was locating the parking garage, and that was because we didn't think we could drive down the street it was on! The attendants were very courteous and helpful, and we usually ended up just paying 3 euro to garage the car from 7pm to 10am, moving the car out to either explore nearby towns or simply to put it in the local free lot. We absolutely loved our stay and definitely recommend it for anyone looking for an in-town Tomar experience!

We just stayed at Martine’s accommodation and It was perfect we got to enjoy the pool as weather was hot it’s very close to Tomar and also close enough to Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima We really enjoyed our stay and Martine was lovely very accommodating and making sure everything was ok for us I Highly recommended this accommodation

Helen&Chris are lovely people. They gave our family a very warm welcome. We felt at home. Very neat and clean. The garden, pool and orangery are all spectacular. We loved spending our evenings at the taras or playing in the pool. Helen and Chris were very helpful with all instructions and sites or restaurants to visit. When we needed help they were very easy to communicate to. Highly recommend to visit Helen's & Chris's Orangery ☺️

We all loved our stay! Karla is an amazing host- going over and beyond. The airbnb was spotless, modern and perfect location. Coach station and Sanctuary was close and walkable. I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Fatima.

This was a lovely stay, at Casal do Varatojo. Sara and the whole family were wonderful. We enjoyed a yoga class, and my daughter loved the surroundings, Fátima, the pool, the friendship with Camila, everything really. The blackout happened during our stay, and I'll never forget how they were so proactive in providing information and all that was needed to make our lives easier. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful place, neat, clean, very accommodating, close to Basilica, restaurants, grocery store and all other amenities needed are in close proximity. Second time we stayed at this place, definitely will stay again if available. Thank you Celia E Jaime
