Eco-Barn in Brecon Beacons

EllaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful stay here! It’s in a great location, close to lots of walks! The barn itself is lovely, there are 4 good sized rooms and 3 bathrooms (we were 4 couples and it worked really well)! The living area is lovely to hang out in! The rooms are nicely decorated, and the house has everything you need! Sally is a lovely and responsive host. I really recommend - we’re already planning our next stay!

Fan Cottage - sleeps 6 in luxury in Brecon Beacons

AmandaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a wonderful time at Fan Cottage. The beds were super comfy, the cottage was well equipped and the views were spectacular. The cottage was very spacious for our group of 4 adults, 2 children and our small dog. The Welsh cakes left in the kitchen for when we arrived were a lovely touch after a long journey. Would recommend and do hope to return again in the future. Thank you Fan Cottage!

Rural Home and Garden

SarahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
What a beautiful location and fabulous place to stay! So peaceful, private and wow .. the house is amazing! Everything that you could wish for, for a relaxing break away from it all. We loved the spacious kitchen area so much. The Aga is not only great to cook with, it also makes the living space so cosy and welcoming. The house has so many excellent features and is so homely and easy to relax in. Val and Nancy are kind, thoughtful and considerate hosts. They have expert local knowledge and are great communicators. Their attention to detail is second to none. Thank you Val & Nancy for the welcome gifts & for making this home a real treat. The flower arrangement was beautiful as are the many gorgeous house plants around the home. We all really enjoyed our stay. And left feeling calmer and way more relaxed than we were when we arrived!

Newly renovated rural barn conversion.

LyndsayRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Fabulous visit to Crickhowell. This barn conversion suited us perfectly! It was so peaceful and the amenities just as described. Would love to return during summer months to make use of the garden and bbq. Crickhowell itself had some fantastic shops, pubs and bars. We did a river walk to the cider barn and back. Will certainly visit again. Thanks Hannah for being a super hostess! The extra touches, wine, mince pies, dog treats etc were a lovely gesture to make us feel welcome. The Christmas tree looked great too 🎄

Cosy Welsh 3 bed dog friendly canalside cottage

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The lock house was amazing, if we could move in we would. You can tell the work and love that has gone into the place and it shows in the character. The location and scenery was picturesque, me and our dog really enjoyed waking up early, watching the sunrise and cows wake up and wonder outside. The house felt like a home, and I was very sad to have to leave. The location was brilliant 10 min walk away from the local pub and a few minuets drive to the local town. We went for a walking holiday which the location gave us plenty of. If you’re thinking of booking this place, do it, you won’t regret it.

Luxury shepherd’s hut in the Cambrian Mountains

ElaineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Despite the awful weather, the hut was so cozy and warm. The fire inside was perfect and didn’t smell smokey. We managed to jump in the hot tub when there was a break in the weather, and got to enjoy looking out over the hills. The WIFI was strong and the T.V has Netflix, which was ideal as the weather was so bad. We had a lovely stay, and Manon was an absolute star.

Abergavenny - Barn on the slopes of the Sugar Loaf

TetianaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful vacation home and it exceeded all my expectations. The location was absolutely wonderful, offering lovely views. The air was fresh, and the peacefulness of the area made it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The house itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The spacious living room with a fireplace provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen was modern and had all the essentials for preparing meals, and the bedrooms were comfortable with soft linens that made for a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the outdoor terrace, where I could enjoy my morning coffee while taking in the panoramic views.

We had an amazing stay. The house was lovely, and had everything we needed. Unfortunately there was a storm whilst we were there so we couldn’t get out and explore the local area, but the home was so nice it didn’t matter. The Christmas tree is a lovely touch, and made it even more cosy. Would definitely recommend

Wern Ddu, Defynnog, scenic Brecon Beacons

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wern ddu cottage was absolutely perfect!! Super clean, cosy, and everything we needed! The original beams and stone stairs made this place, it’s been recently refurbished and it’s just beautiful. Has everything you can think of to live there for as long as needed. We took our Labrador and just beyond the fence in the garden is the most beautiful little river which she loved hopping in and out of. Georgina was great, really clear instructions and gave us loads of ideas of things to do nearby. Perfect location to get to some amazing hikes and walks with a car. All in all 10 out of 10!!

The Stag Lodge in Bont Dolgadfan with hot tub.

BertinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fabulous stay at Jude & Hadyn's The Stag Lodge. Hadyn welcomed us at check in and showed us around. He has a fantastic personality and is a great laugh! The Stag Lodge was perfect. We had everything we needed for a great stay. It was so quiet and peaceful. Just what we wanted, away from our normal lives near the city! The accommodation was spotless and the bed was actually comfier than my own at home!! The hot tub was amazing; it was at the back of the lodge, to ensure total privacy for guests. The views of the landscape from the hot tub was a great addition. Thank you Jude & Hadyn for a wonderful stay. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

Aberdar Country Cottage and Cinema Cabin

KatieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Tim's place was lovely, 4 generations of our family (age range 12-92) stayed and there was lots for everyone to do. There are so many cycle rides and walks to do straight from the door without having to drive. Our favourite was a ride around llyn brianne, to Tregaron and back. The garden is great and our daughter loved the games room and everyone enjoyed the cinema cabin. There were excellent books in the house, including lots of local interest books. The house guide was also very useful.

Shepherds Hut with a View! Relaxing secluded haven

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely beautiful shepherds hut in stunning surroundings! The views of the Welsh hills from the hut were just gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting outside on the decking with a glass of wine watching the sun go down, and then having a fire and listening to the owls hoot, just bliss! The hut itself is so cosy, and fully self contained, we had everything we needed and were very warm and comfortable. Natalie and Ric were the perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming, and always on hand if we needed anything. And of course we couldn't write a review without mentioning Berwyn the friendly cockerpoo, who gave us a lovely welcomeđŸ„°. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough, the perfect weekend getaway! We will be back for sure. Michelle and Pete

Cwm Farm Cwtch Farm Cottage Brecon Beacons

KeithRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jodine was a great host as well as her dad we were a little unsure where we were going but they directed us straight to the cottage the cottage is on a farm so expect a few donkeys sheep and some very curious cats the place was very tidy with two good sized rooms a nice shower and a good kitchen. It would be best to bring food with you as there’s not much in the way of things without driving there is a nice welcoming pub which is walkable in the light but probably not in the dark I would recommend this as a place to stay in either winter or summer thanks again.

Fishers’ Retreat, beside the Olchon Brook

JohnRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Katy’s place is located in a wonderfully quiet and peaceful setting, surrounded by spectacular mountains and rivers with plenty of excellent walks to enjoy. The house has a nice, cozy feel with two good-sized bedrooms and full bathrooms along with a well equipped kitchen and lounge. The location is beautiful with plenty of wildlife and yet not too far from interesting places to visit including Hereford, Hay-on-Wye and other towns. The roads and trails along the mountains provide exceptional views of this rural landscape. We were looked after extremely well during our visit with plenty of advice on places of interest in the area, including trails, pubs and shops for provisions. In addition, Katy kindly provided home made granola as well as a pot of local yogurt and blackcurrants for breakfasts. We really enjoyed our stay.
