Lofty converted barn - The Forge, private hot tub

AnthonyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely, restful place to spend a week. The local area is beautiful with more options than you can handle for historical places to visit, fine pubs to eat at and towns to explore. The locals are friendly and the scenery is something else. Remember it’s a working farm, so the odd tractor sails by in the morning, but we used that as an ax use to head into a morning hot tub. Thank you for a great stay!

Mid Wales, farm house sleeps 14, natural pool.

RachelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This place is such a gem! It's a beautiful setting and the house is so well set up for a large group stay - we were a mixed family group and all ages (9-81!) had a great time. The kitchen facilities and bedrooms and bathrooms are great combination of excellent quality with a homely feel. As well as the house, the garden has several outdoor spaces/patios too, so you can catch the sun and views from all round the house. The natural pool and sauna room are the icing on the cake. Beautiful focal point and added a unique experience. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. We also had the excellent neighbours who greeted us with cake! An all round fantastic stay.

Country house in 5 Acres now with hot tub!

UrazzRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We recently enjoyed a fantastic 4 nights family reunion, and we couldn’t be happier. Doreen was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The property is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen and pantry fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, and glasses. One of the highlights was the amazing fire pit, beautifully surrounded by trees and lights, creating a magical ambiance at night. Doreen always refilled wood for cozy fires each evening. We also loved the swimming pool with its clean water and perfect temperature, and the hot tub provided a relaxing retreat after a day of fun. Overall, our experience was great, We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you again, Doreen and Peter, for being such great hosts and making our stay so memorable!

Elegant Home with Pool & Sauna near Golf Course

WendyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This house is in an outstandingly beautiful part of the country and we had wonderful walks from just a few minutes drive away. The house itself is very spacious and well appointed, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is fantastic and the garden is delightful. Yes , it is located next to a builders’ yard but it is really not an issue . However, the star of the show is the pool which really caused our grandsons’ eyes to light up when they saw it. It is quite warm and just very easy to navigate with the garden room ( with heated floor) separating it from the main house. A higher top step into the pool would make getting out a little easier for this grandmother. All in all we had a great time here- not quite perfect as it was expensive and the sitting room ( with gorgeous sofas) was a little tired, plus a massive list of tasks to complete on checking out but we would certainly stay here again as there is so much to do in the area and the huge pool is wonderful.

Vale Oak- Farm with stunning views

AndreaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What a great place to stay, we were in oak with another family. It’s over the swimming pool so we could nip down for a swim and hot tub. Easy to get to Brecon and lots of different things to do. We were advised lots of different places to visit and eat especially the ice cream shop!. The children could play on the field and park with a view of the sheep and cows. We will definitely be back!

MitchellRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I stayed here with 7 others for a chilled, relaxed night away from home and that’s what it proved to be! The heated pool was well used and an awesome feature in the cosy extension. Plenty of space to sleep everyone and had everything you needed. I stayed here with friends but I feel like it would also be perfect for a get away with the kids too. One thing that wasn’t advertised greatly was the view you get to experience in the morning, it’s stunning. Thanks for having us and helping us out with some fresh sausages and bacon in the morning!

Outshot Barn, with swimming pool near Hay-on-Wye

DavidRating, 5 stars7 months ago
On a family trip, we had a great time staying at the barn. It was cosy, warm and so lovely being able to see the animals on the farm. It was Easter so although we could use the pool, it was so cold that we didn’t.

Peaceful 3 Bedroom Cottage in the Welsh Hills

AdelRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely stay at Simon’s cottage. The cottage was charming and located in a beautiful, peaceful area. We loved lighting the fire for cosy evenings in. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfy. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful surrounding areas. We walked into Machynlleth one day which was straight forward with a steeper walk coming back. Our dog came along, and the conservatory was perfect to dry her off in after a rainy outing. We would be happy to recommend this welcoming cottage and Simon as a host.

Town centre Victorian period 3 bedroom home

CeriRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We were three friends (and two dogs) on a four night stay and Chloe's place was perfect for us. It was clean, quiet and homely. The bedrooms are very spacious with lots of storage. The lounge is very comfortable. Future guests might like to take extra tea-towels, as there was only one provided, and note that there is nowhere private to let dogs out. We would all recommend a stay here. Bishop's Castle is an interesting, quirky and friendly place to stay, with independent shops and cafes. We had a lovely evening meal at The Castle Hotel.

Dolgenau Hir

IvanRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We fell in love with Ruth’s place within thirty minutes of arrival. We thoroughly the enjoyed secluded location, the poetic views and charming cottage. Ruth is an exceptional host. She provided clear instructions which were all easy to follow. The neighbouring cottage is also owned by Ruth and is listed for rental. It was occupied during our stay but that did not take away from the serenity that surrounds the place. We loved our time there. If the wind blows us in the direction of Ruth’s place in the future we’ll definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at the Glass house many times. It's an amazing place for friends to come together. Clean, comfortable and plenty of room. The village is beautiful and we recommend the Red Lion for dinner. The food was delicious. Check in was super easy, the hot tub was a bonus and it was a wonderful stay.

Abergavenny - Barn on the slopes of the Sugar Loaf

MartinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really enjoyed our stay at Caitlin's Barn. Check-in and directions were clear and simple. The Barn itself is very well appointed; lovely thoughtful touches from logs for the fire, cushioned outdoor seating, choice of two ensuite rooms, great kitchen, and modern yet classic and unfussy decor. This is a tastefully decorated place, and everything you might need is also provided; from dishwasher tablets to towels. Spotlessly clean. The location is tranquil and calming, surrounded by hills and views in every direction with a real sense of peace and relaxation. The only neighbour noise was the gentle baaing of the sheep in the neighbouring fields. Great for dogs: totally secure fencing all around, zero chance of escape. Although the immediate surroundings are steep (it's on a hillside), the property and gardens themselves are totally flat, and landscaped beautifully. A real home away from home and a very short drive to cute Y Fenni. Highly recommend. Diolch Catilin.

Danyfan Cottage

CatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage, quiet, warm and perfect. The wi-fi was so intermittent as to be non-existent but that turned out to be part of the charm - we were removed from the world for a few days. Lovely area, lots of walking and everyone we met in Brecon was friendly and welcoming.

The Byre, cosy cottage with views in Llangadfan.

LucyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very lovely stay at The Byre. The cottage is well equipped, very clean and cosy. Only thing is I didn’t realise the cottage was attached to the hosts own house so I was expecting to be more secluded and private. They did not impose on us at all, however we shared the garden and outdoor space. Found it slightly confusing to locate as instructions say to drive past their gate, but you actually use their gate as it is a shared drive. Easy once you know! Hot water didn’t run if the radiators were running so just made sure to switch it off if we were to use the shower or hot tap. Cottage had everything you needed with beautiful views. WiFi worked great and TV was fine. :)

Smithy Tranquillity

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at the Smithy for two nights while attending a wedding locally. Dominique was very quick to respond, helpful and friendly before and during our stay. The house is immaculately clean, warm, cosy and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is so well equipped, with everything we could possibly need for our stay. As with the rest of the house it is spotlessly clean, including every drawer and cupboard. I would love to stay again and explore the beautiful countryside and will definitely recommend to our friends.

Mountain views in the heart of Brecon Town

UlrikeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Julie's place is very well appointed, if the weather is ok there is a terrace in front of the house from where one can enjoy a wonderful view of the Brecon Beacons. The house is welcoming, the table set with some delicious biscuits and it is quiet and relaxing. Brecon centre is quickly reached on foot from Julie's house and so is the tow path along the canal for beautiful walks. I very much hope that I can come back!

Peace & Luxury in our Cosy Cottage in Mid-Wales

NaomiRating, 5 starstoday
We had a fabulous stay at The Paddock with our 4-month old baby. Deborah and Emma were proactive and responded really quickly to all questions, they kindly let us know that we could check in early which was much appreciated with a baby. The Paddock is even nicer in person, finished beautifully and has everything you need. We loved watching the alpacas in the morning and the views are amazing! The hot tub is a real highlight and felt very private, the dressing gowns and slippers are a lovely touch. We had a slight issue with the temp on our first night, however Gavin came round the next day to apologise and went above and beyond to make it up to us, which really demonstrated the care and pride which goes into this Airbnb. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thank you for making our mini break so enjoyable!

Idyllic, refurbished character barn. Sleeps 2.

ChloeRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Vera and Ian were incredibly helpful and friendly. They allowed us to check in a little early and even provided some helpful advice when we had car trouble. The annex is exactly as described and is set in such beautiful surroundings. We went for dinner at the Usk & Railway Inn which is walkable or a short drive and we had a lovely meal. Could not fault anything about our stay.
