Pen y Cwm is a delightful Welsh cottage nestling in the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage is one of two stunning holiday properties located at Tynyberth Hall near the former slate mining village of Corris. Both properties are wonderfully appointed, they each come with the luxury of a private hot tub and plenty of on-site facilities including an 18-hole mini golf course, heated outdoor swimming pool available from Easter to the end of September and a communal games room.

We had a fantastic week here, the views and setting were just amazing. The accommodation was clean and cosy, Danielle and Tom were great hosts- so friendly and very very responsive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! The kids loved the swimming pool and its long opening hours. Although there were other families staying in the other cottages it always felt very tranquil and peaceful with us often having exclusive use of the pool. It was great having a washing machine to use daily, as well as lots of other bonuses. We will definitely be back!

Lovely, quirky space with very friendly hosts, staff and animals! We have loved our time there and helping out on the farm with egg collecting and feeding the animals. My 5 year old learnt so much about the animals and all on the farm were so kind to him with his millions of questions. Swimming pool was ideal and we spent every evening in there (which was very much needed after a long climb up Pen-y-Fan!) Very peaceful and relaxing stay - we didn't want to leave!

The cottages are even better than expected. They are beautiful. Slept 4 comfortably with the use of a comfy sofa bed. The cottage itself was lovely, the views are stunning, the pool and facilities for the kids were great. Loved every minute and everyone is so friendly. Will definitely return to this sanctuary.

We had a really great stay, the bungalow is very well equipped and had everything we needed! Beautiful location with some great walks close by. I would recommend the Riverside Inn which is just a short walk for a lovely pub lunch/ dinner and friendly service.

Amy and the team were amazing from the start of the holiday to the end of the holiday. The cottage was well equipped with everything you needed. When we arrived and opened the door of the cottage it was lovely and warm it felt like home, the beautiful scenery when looking out of the windows was amazing,the heated pool was definitely a bonus. 10/10 Thankyou 😃

It was the holiday I didnt know i needed. Booked it last minute for me and my son (aged 7). Both enjoyed it. Went for 4 days and wasnt bored at any point. Lots to do on the location when dry or raining. Walked around the local area looking at the sheep, squirrels and the river. Felt safe to walk around during the evening too when getting dark. Son had fun holding the torch and searching for waterfalls coming down the surrounding valleys. Swimming pool nice and clean and good size. Had 8 in there at one point and plenty of room still. Other children on site to who all just mingled and played. Everything is relatively near if you have a car, shops and places to visit. Loved it so much that we have booked another week in April and family members also booked off our recommendation. Next time will take fishing equipment with us. Bring welly boots and spare clothes as the area is to enticing not to explore. Wifi available to for free if needed but no network signal due to location.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Jay Cottage, a 1br ground floor flat facing the stunning views across the large fishing pond and mountains. We arrived late in the day and the key was left at reception for us along with a map of the cottages and additional helpful instructions. The cottage itself was absolutely stunning, clean and tidy with a gorgeous gaming coffee table that we made use of throughout our stay. There was also tennis rackets, fishing rods, and other outdoor games available for free, alongside the games room. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the local area, although we didn't want to leave because the views were so beautiful and the area so peaceful! We had rogue roaming sheep with their tiny lambs outside out cottage every morning, and were often happily awoken by them, along with the ducks and birds. Staff were so kind and helpful, the onsite pool and play area were perfect for keeping the kids entertained, and we are already ready to go back!
