Farmstay vacation rentals in Wales

The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

We had a lovely few days at the Barn, using is as a base to explore the valleys, and sights in Carmarthenshire. The Barn is lovely and cosy - and actually feels bigger than it looks on the pictures. We loved the wood burning stove, with fuel provided and fire made the first night, which was a real treat to use - and if you are visiting at the right time of year, be sure to look outside at the stars in the dead of night, because we were able to see so much. The place would be easy to miss if you didn’t know where you were going, but we had very clear instructions beforehand and found it no trouble. To anyone wondering about the internet - some reviews here mention WiFi, but as advertised, there is no WiFi - which we actually enjoyed. If you need internet, mobile data doesn’t really work inside the barn, but was available as soon as one stepped outside, which was fine for our satnav purposes. Ann also offered to help us access the internet if there was an issue, but this wasn’t needed.

We had a lovely week at The Bothy. A peaceful cottage in a wonderful location. Alicia is a great host - very welcoming and with lots of local information. The Bothy is well appointed and has everything you need. Pretty gardens at this time of year a sea of snowdrops. The local pub is a few minutes walk away and was great for supper. We also visited very good restaurants The Walnut Tree and The Black Bear who both serve superb food. Lots of local walks and charming towns and villages. A restful stay in a beautiful location.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our dads 70th birthday. The house was beautiful and very clean, cosy and comfortable. We really appreciated the beautiful Christmas decorations. We all enjoyed meeting and feeding the goats and alpacas and using the games room. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The studio is perfect- really peaceful, spotlessly clean, cosy and bright. It had everything we needed, and the bed is brilliant, we slept incredibly well! Clare is super helpful and really welcoming, and we had a fantastic stay - we hope to be back!

Dream house! We had such a lovely time we extended our stay a further 2 days. I can't imagine how amazing the place would be in the summer! A huge thanks to Ben and Betty for being so kind and helpful, really wonderful hosts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for a holiday, Cardigan is a great town, lovely beaches nearby and loads of walks and countryside to roam in - straight from the doorstep.

The place is a credit to Helen and family. Very well presented. Helen was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful place.

The Hayloft is beautifully decorated, warm, in peaceful surroundings and with a warm welcome from Lois. A perfect place to stay to visit Carmarthenshire. The house had everything we needed to cook and relax. Highly recommended!

Fantastic few days at The Lock House. Spotlessly clean and warm with the house equipped with everything you would need. Lovely peaceful location but also close enough to the local supermarket. Everything was also well thought out for our 4 legged guest too. Great to be able to walk straight out the front gate and onto the canal towpath for a leisurely walk. Had a lovely sunday lunch at The Nags Head too which we would recommend.

Amazing place for children, the outdoor space is magical and so much for them to do. Beautiful surroundings and the hosts were lovely. A few things in the house were a bit wonky but overall a great stay.

I booked this for my brother and his wife as a surprise wedding gift and they absolutely loved the place. Peaceful location, lots to do, and they really enjoyed the hot tub. They said they would come back again. Thank you Ceri for putting up a wedding banner, that was a nice touch :)

We had a great stay. Sam and Neil are lovely hosts. We helped feed and get to know the sheep, which was fantastic. Couldn't recommend the accommodation more highly.

Sian and Warren were wonderful hosts, very friendly and we really enjoyed our alpaca experience with the 4 lovely Alpacas!! We also really enjoyed feeding the sheep in the mornings! The cabin is just like the pictures - very cosy and perfect for a weekend away! The hot tub is also great fun even in the rain. The area is very peaceful and is a short drive to the beach with some nice local pubs. Overall we had the best time and would definitely come back & recommend to animal lovers!

The lodge is beautiful, cosy and remote. The location is stunning, at the foot of the hills with rolling countryside all around. As the other reviews have mentioned the hot tub takes time to warm up (about 2 hours) but it's so worth it and really adds to the experience. We spent both evenings under the stars, amongst the steam of the hot tub with a glass of prosecco in head (another lovely gesture). The robes are welcome surprise too. It's also great for dogs, the garden is completely enclosed, ours had a great time. We did the source of the severn walk as recommended and it was beautiful. We were hoping for a relaxing break away from it all and that's what we got. Thank you for allowing us to share your amazing property. We hope to come back.

This was our 3rd time staying here and it’s just amazing. A real home from home. Georgina is amazing. So helpful. Everything you need has been thought of and even some wine and Welsh cakes left for arrival. We will be back time and time again. Thank you

Spent a weekend here with my boyfriend and it was an absolutely gorgeous place. The underfloor heating was an amazing extra and the amenities of the place were perfect for self catering all weekend. Host was so quick with her responses. Will definitely be back!

It is a lovely place for short trip. My doggy has a good sleep. There have enough space for dog play and run. Everything is good 👍🏻 Even October is windy months, it makes me feel like back to home. Nice! Thank you for everything. We really enjoy.☺️

A great place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Lovely area with signposted walks and very peaceful, and the hot tub was lovely after the cold January walks

Just back from a fabulous weekend! The pictures really don’t do it justice. Beautiful house, lots of room, great hot tub with amazing views. Very responsive host who was always quick to reply to any queries. Lovely walks round the farm, the perfect chilled girls weekend - we will be back!

Had a lovely stay over the Christmas period with family. Beautiful property, exactly as described in the profile and pics. Very short drive to the coast where there are some great walks. Definitely looking to come back again.

wow this place is magnificent from start to finish and the host Ffion is absolutely wonderful, I'd say this is a stay for everyone who likes mountain views which me and Emma love.The place is spotless and clean and from start to finish the best getaway we absolutely loved it and will be back if you will have us .
