Great base to explore the area

we stayed with sharon for a weekend at the beautiful lodge. a very comfortable space, well thought out, with a very well-equipped kitchen (nothing was missing!), spacious and well-maintained bathrooms. a living room with a beautiful view. good price, very close to the town and with very nice and caring hosts.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay in Jan’s accommodation. We arrived 1st week of March and were greeted with a very clean, warm living space. The freshly cut Daffodils were a nice touch. You get your own little boundary containing a lush lawn, 2 beautiful apple trees and lots of seasonal flowers, it’s pretty and you get a nice sense of privacy. Jan is a great host. She is very friendly & communicative, has great local knowledge and always happy to help with whatever she can. She gives you plenty of space to enjoy your break but if you’re up for a chinwag she has all the time for you. The town of Bishops Castle has a lot to offer, with lots of small businesses that seem to be thriving. There are a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes all of which are good in their own ways. Our favourite was probably the Happy Bap for a small bite and a coffee. There is also an excellent quality butcher, petrol station, 2 convenience shops and variety of cute crafty shops.

Cute little home, perfect for a night in the valleys. It was very cosy and just what we needed for our stay. I also had a very deep sleep in the huge bed upstairs. Very comfy and with no outside noise did not wake once! Would stay again.

Great stay, exceeded expectations

Me my partner and two sons stayed here for Easter weekend. We absolutely loved are stay… the site the lodge is situated in was lovely with great facilities for my 4 year old son. He loved the swimming pool and park. Me and my partner also got a lovely massage! The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. (Full equipped kitchen, towels and robes, tea and coffee) The jacuzzi was the highlight of the weekend! We enjoyed it so much we have booked to return for my son’s birthday weekend :)

Very responsive and catered to our dietary requirements for the breakfast options. Super friendly and understanding, would definitely recommend for walks in the local area.

We had an amazing stay at the nest! It is a lovely peaceful location with plenty of space! The wood fire was warm and cosy and the sofa was so comfy and honestly a big selling point for us and lovely to chill on in an evening! The property was clean and just so so lovely! The hosts are very helpful, quick to respond and answered all our questions quickly. It honestly is a beautiful place to stay. It is quite rural but we wanted that as we live in a city it was nice to be in a quiet space! We drove into Ludlow about 35 minute drive and had an amazing meal at a restaurant called The French Pantry I really recommend this place it was extremely good food! The cooking facilities at the nest are great with everything you need so we also cooked as well. The bathroom is lovely and feels brand new! I really recommend this. We could 100% come back xxx

I really had a very beautiful and peaceful stay at Jasper’s Caravan. The location was private and charming. Great for a relaxing stay away from the city. Jasper was so friendly and responsive. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy a peaceful stay in a private caravan.

I had a great stay at Nikki's place, had everything i needed for my short time and i had a top nights sleep. Nikki was super welcoming and made me feel right at home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dolguog. The room was as described and easy access. Great communications from Stephanie our host and a super breakfast in the morning. Would come back again for sure.

My family and I had a lovely stay in elenor cottage , the surrounding scenery is breathtaking and peaceful , the cottage is homely with everything you need including a lovely welcome basket , Kathryn was a great host always responsive and greeted us when we arrived would definitely come back and reccommend to friends and family

Bryn dropped us a pin to make our journey very easy and straight to the front door for a great start Before we set off Bryn had sent us many recommendations for places to visit and eat, with this information we booked 2 evening meals in the local pub The Raven reccomended by Bryn A great tour of the property and its ammeinaties from the host set us up. The views from the property are breathtaking and some wonderful walks with the dogs The hotub was so relaxed and private, we had a few drinks and let the dogs safely walk about whilst listening to some music The Sauna is a must for your stay I had a few visits myself The property itself was spotlessly clean, kitchen full of everything you would need all and in great condition The beds a very comcomfortable, we did struggle to keep the dogs off though haha. The main living area views are amazing, just to sit and look out in the morning whilst havhaving a brew is worth a visit by itself A perfect visit just wish we had longer

We loved staying in the Mill Pond Caravan. The grounds are just stunning! Julie's instructions were very clear, so we found it and got in easily. The caravan is cosy and well equipped. fresh clean towels and bed linens and extra blankets if you get chilly. We had a bit of a wet week weather-wise, so it was great to be able to pop the heating on quickly in the morning to take the edge off. Otherwise, the caravan is warm and dry and cosy. Julie is definitely a super host, very friendly and welcoming. The kids absolutely loved the walk up into the orchard and then back down by the waterfall to follow the mill stream back. Would recommend ' the garage' to stay at for a little trip away. It was just as the pictures showed, very clean and has everything you need in the home. The hot tub was amazing 🤩 it's lovely way you end an evening, looking up at the stars, sitting in the bubbles. Such a peaceful place. Anna is very responsive if you do need anything or have any questions.
