Lovely modern spacious well equipped apartment in an excellent location an easy walk downhill into the centre. Large bed, great shower, comfy living room with lots of storage space. We really enjoyed our stay.

We spent 4 weeks in Emanuels apartment. Walking distance to shopping, city center, and waterfront. Various bus routes just around the corner. We felt very welcome and the little practical issues that arose along the way were resolved instantly. Due to the location, there is a lot of traffic noise, but when it was too much, we closed the windows and the balcony door - and then it was ok. Emanuel is a great host who responded very quickly to questions. We were received very kindly and given great instruction. In addition, we got local tastings: -) We highly recommend a stay with Emanuel.

Carla welcomed us to the apartment upon our arrival and explained everything to us. Since it was still fresh at night, she offered and brought us another blanket. The apartment is centrally located in Funchal, which we found perfect. Carla was helpful and gave us good tips! Thank you very much!
