Beach house vacation rentals in Madeira

Thank you Veronica for letting us stay here. You have a little charm here for sure. Loved sitting out on the front balcony watching the ocean something I could do all day. The corner restaurant was an added bonus and the food and service was great.

This place was truly magical, definitely adventurous, and we made lots of memories that we will never forget! Thank you again!!!

Very nice little house with everything you could need in it. And a nice big garden, for breakfast and for chilling. Unfortunately, we were only able to have breakfast outside once because the weather was not so good. But Mariana can't do anything about that! Her partner Miguel is also very friendly and immediately helpful with small problems. Thx, you two!

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. It was very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the ocean and great location to discover the whole island. There was also everything we needed including the basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and herbs. The only small downside was that the town was a little too far to walk but there are a couple of restaurants that can be walked to. Maria was great at giving us recommendations and helping out when we had issues with our flights.

Casas Na Ilha was very clean, large and beautiful. We really enjoyed the stay. The pool and kitchen were great for large groups and each room had its own bathroom. We would come back. Isabel responded very quickly and kindly to messages and check-in with the door code was very easy and convenient.

The Miguel family was very welcoming and the accommodation is among the best in Madeira. A great location away from the busy streets of Funchal with private parking - perfect for heading out to all the trails.

One of our best AirBnBs ever. Exactly as advertise, Sofia's place is large, comfortable and beautifully situated. Jardim do Mar is our favourite spot on our favorite island. Would return to Sofia's place again and again - unfortunately next year renovation is planned but the current house is wonderful. Sofia is extremely helpful and responsive - I don't remember ever waiting more than 15 mins for a response. Our 5 weeks stay flew by. Highest level of recommendation.

It’s a really cosy place. Very well equiped. With a beautiful balcony. You wíll need a car to do most things. All the roads leading to Arco do Calheta amd the Hikers Refuge are very steep. There is a beautiful walk you can do in the neighbourhood without needing a car and one of the most beautiful hikes on Madeira (PR6) only fifteen minutes by car. There are a bunch of stray cats that frequent the balcony, but we’ve grown to appreciate them 😊. Johny is very helpful and responds to apps very quickly.

This is a fabulous home, in a great location. It was very spacious, both inside and out. The furnishings were lovely and it had everything you could hope for - the pool was great and the view stunning. Bruno and Carla were perfect hosts- very responsive - and we enjoyed meeting Bruno, who provided us with a great intro to the home and the area. Can’t wait to go back!

Very kind host and beautiful place. Our flight was sent back to Lisbon due to high winds so we ended up arriving after 1am and Nelson was kind enough to wait up for us and gave us a nice anniversary gift as well.

António was extremely helpful with a warm welcome and was very helpful with good information on the island and things to do. The villa was fantastic with many extra things provided for our comfort e.g toothpaste/wine/local fruit etc. The villa is about 20 minute walk down hill to the city which is very convenient but it’s a steep climb back up so we usually used Bolt/Uber which works really well for most of the island as the buses aren’t so good. I do recommend this villa as a great base with a warm welcome and warm swimming pool, thank you Antonio.

Really great house for 2 adults and a baby. Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen and all the baby stuff we needed (bath, high chair, cot etc). We got the pool heated which was nice for us in March when it was sunny. The terrace was also very nice with lovely views of the sea. It's on a steep hill so would recommend a car to get around (and to be a confident driver!)

Beautiful house! Amazing host, Paula makes sure everything is great. She even dropped by in the evening to bring new sheets when our baby threw up on our bed. Too sweet. Also the communication with her was the best ever. Big pool, great garden to have morning coffee in the sun, lovely village on walking distance. Good to know that the water pressure of the showers are a bit low, we were able to get a good shower anyway. Paula is super flexible, we were allowed to stay in the house until our flight left that day because there was not a guest coming that day or the next. All in all we would recommend Paula’s place 1000%.

It was the perfect stay! Easy to find, smooth parking, safe neighborhood. Everything was exactly as described and on the photos. Ligia and Emma were very responsive and kind and communicated proactively. The sea views are beautiful, the terrace, garden, and pool are wonderful and the lounge and living room are cosy and chill. The kitchens are very well equipped with everything you could potentially need which came in handy for the loads of cooking we did. The beds are very good and the area is very quiet. We had a great time and would definitely stay again. Thx again for hosting us!

Gary’s home makes for a wonderful stay. The property is well maintained and provides everything required for a stay. The views from the rear of the property are incredible, so much so that we opted to stay in the property rather than venturing out on occasion. Photos do not do it justice! Gary has been a fantastic host, providing excellent recommendations and always being willing to go the extra mile to accommodate. I would recommend Gary and his property to friends and family and will look to return in the future.

It is a beautiful, spacious villa. Very child-friendly due to the fence around the pool and the glass shielding of the property. 3 cots and 3 high chairs were well arranged. Heating the swimming pool is necessary in the spring. Friendly host who gives tips for restaurants and supermarket.

Very pleasant stay, the house was spotless. You will have a private pool and a beautiful view of the valley and the sea. The beds were very comfortable, no amenities to say. We are very happy and we are thinking of coming back to Madeira.

We had the best time staying at the Crystal house. Fatima was an incredibly friendly host who welcomed us personally and gave us privacy during our stay. She even brought us Madeiran wine and bananas from the garden. The space is big enough for 2 persons, especially with the royal terrace and balcony looking over the valley and the ocean! This was exceptional! The road in front of the house is not extremely busy, but the cars are loud sometimes. The kitchen is not very big, but it has the basics and is good enough for simple dinners. The bathroom is also quite small, but it’s clean and well equipped. The location on the island was ideal for us! You can drive to the highlights quite easily, while still enoying the local atmosphere from Madeira. Muito obrigado Fatima! It was amazing!

The apartment corresponds exactly to the pictures and is even more spacious than expected. Everything was clean and in the kitchen you will find everything you need for your stay. However, the absolute highlight is the fantastic view from the balcony – simply beautiful! A small note: the driveway is a bit narrow, but after a short time you get used to it. Carlos was always super quick to reach and very helpful. All around a really nice place to stay – we were totally satisfied and would be happy to come back!
