Located right in the heart of the quiet and beautiful town of Machico, its about 50 meters from the beach (rocky and sandy) door to door with great restaurants.The Airport 5 minutes away. The Buddha Room is a very big space with private bathroom, couch and cable tv. You have a kitchen (with everthing you need) and a balcony that you can share with other guests.

Awesome and warm welcome, Nathan gave us plenty of information about the points of interest nearby and was attentive. The room is cozy. The common areas are large and nice, there is plenty to cook with simple dishes. BBQ evening on the program, at the best. Thank you

very good location, parking for scooters just in front of the entry. Stunning view from terrace where the breakfast was served. Room was clean and they cleanned it every day. It was a bit noisy from the street but this is expected in such as central location. Personnel were nice and friendly. Wifi was unfortunately annoying, it disconnected every 15m and required to reconnect.

Staying at The Rum Inn truly felt like home! Miguel and his partner were incredibly kind and welcoming—we had great conversations, exchanging insights about Madeira and life on the island. The ground floor features an amazing rum bar where Miguel crafted some fantastic rum cocktails and a delicious poncha. We also enjoyed a great breakfast there in the morning. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and great restaurants. Highly recommended!
