Vacation rentals with lake access in Lake Galena

A charming home away from home that we can’t wait to visit again. From the cozy living room to the comfy bedrooms, this is a terrifically well appointed place. We used the fully stocked kitchen for all our meals and dipped into the games cabinet on one of the rainy days. Only wish we could give more than 5 stars - we will definitely book again!

The Airbnb was perfect! It was super secluded, which was perfect for getting away from everything. There was so much fun stuff to do - we loved hanging out by the fire pit at night and my son loved the zip line. The fishing spot was great, and my son had a wonderful time with his grandfather fishing. We also went hiking and explored the trails around the property and seeing the horses. The whole place was just so peaceful. Matthew was quick to answer our questions; communication was great! The best part was that we had everything we needed right there, so we didn't have to worry about forgetting anything. We had such a great time that we're definitely coming back. It was like the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation all in one spot.

From the moment we walked in, we immediately knew the place was perfect. We had a larger group- 5 couples, so the fact that we all had our own bathroom was huge! Lia is the perfect hostess and addressed any questions we had right away. Even going as far as offering to have a microwave delivered next day when the one in the house wasn't working properly. We will absolutely be booking again with Lia on our next trip to Galena!! Thank you for all you do and going above and beyond our expectations!!

This is the 2nd time I booked Laurie's place, so you know we were pleased the first time. It didn't disappoint. Last time was for our son's wedding, this time was for our future daughter-in-law's girls' weekend. House was perfect for hanging out, close to downtown for shopping and a night out.

We had a lovely stay at The Treehouse. Kimberly and Dan were wonderful hosts. We had one little snafu that was immediately addressed and no issues whatsoever from there. Gorgeous views, comfortable spaces, great community amenities. Enjoyed being a little off the beaten path as well. Guidebook was readily available and helpful. Kids had a blast with the games. Only wish it would’ve been a little warmer to use the deck and porch. Would definitely book again! Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed at this place for a few days — overall, everything went well. The house was clean, cozy, and matched the description. However, it's worth noting that the property looks a bit better in the photos than it does in real life. Still, everything we needed was provided, and the stay was comfortable. The host was always responsive, answered our questions quickly, and gave helpful tips. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient, with shops and cafes nearby. Thank you for the hospitality!

Jenny’s place is very nice , big enough for staying together or to have a few hours of privacy( we were 7 adults). The place is big enough. We went for Easter and was a rainy day but we enjoyed all together a game room in basement was fun . I will recommend it this place, is clean has everything it needed, quite. We we’ll be there again in summer time. Thank you for hosting us in your place.

this place was great had a small mishap but Jared made it right if you ever have an issue rest assured that it will be taken care of I will definitely stay here again me and my family had a great time

Right above The Grape Escape, a music and drink venue! Loud and SO FUN, perfect for our girls trip. Catherine was a great host recommending different spots for us to check out and we just loved the neighborhood dog who greeted us! Galena is gorgeous, super walkable and lots of fun night life. We will definitely be back!!

This place was so lovely! The pictures were very accurate but the sky lights and vaulted ceiling made it even better in person. Although the living room and kitchen space are small, it has everything we needed in a beautiful area of Galena Territory!

Comfy and clean!

Very cute & clean studio apartment. Perfect for those who like to be apart of the action downtown. You can hear the music and sound of the bar downstairs but it won’t be an issue if you like to stay up late and the ear plugs do work good. It was nice to stop by and drop our bags off or rest while shopping etc.

Brian was extremely communicative and helpful with all my questions and considered my family and I’s needs. The property was EXTREMELY clean which my germaphobe family and I highly appreciated. Would stay again! Thanks Brian and friends!

Serenity Woods was the perfect place for a great weekend getaway to Galena. The house is perfectly suited for two couples. It was a freezing cold weekend so we spent much of it inside and the house was so cozy. We did make it to downtown Galena for lunch and shopping and it was an easy drive from the house. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to make dinner. Everything was very clean and instructions were very helpful. I highly recommend Serenity Woods!

What an adorable cozy cottage! Our family of 4 loved it. It was a pleasant surprise to discover toys and activities for the kids when we arrived. We stayed during the Hot Air Balloon Race weekend and this was a great location to it. Downtown Galena took about 13 minutes to get to. Cottage was clean and comfy. We also went to the pool as part of the amenities and the kids had a great time! Thank you so much!

The cottage was very nice and our stay went smoothly. We had a beautiful view of the waterfall from the back deck and really appreciated having separate bathrooms in the upstairs bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Galena!

A perfect place for our ladies weekend getaway! The house was as described and had everything we needed. The location was close to the activities we had planned. We would definitely book a stay there in the future!
