Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Galena

Recently stayed here for a long girl's weekend and it far exceeded our expectations! There were 4 of us and we each had our own bedroom AND bathroom which is really hard to find. The kitchen and dining room are spacious and the living room super comfy - we spent our evenings there just chatting and hanging out. You can tell that Andrew and Sara put a lot of thought and effort into decorating the space to give it a very cozy and inviting vibe. Lots of extra touches - the soft linens, sound machine in each bedroom, cute decor. We definitely intend on another girl's trip to Galena and plan to stay in this house again. Highly recommend!

What cute and accommodating place!! Very quiet and peaceful!! And an awesome story behind the humble abode, just ask Cowboy Joe!! It is a great place if you plan on venturing out during the day and want to come back and relax!! The hot tub was awesome. The beds are amazing too. As mentioned before the kitchen is bare except for cooking and eating utensils. So plan for that. We would definitely do a retrun trip!!

The hosts were very helpful and communicated well. The actual home was very well kept and nice and cozy. Will definitely be back

This was the perfect house to stay to celebrate our friend Turning 30. The house was immaculately clean very well updated looked identical to the photos. So close to town but felt so remote. It was the perfect chill getaway!

This quaint, quiet and remarkably cozy cabin was a perfect weekend retreat! We stayed two nights and really enjoyed everything this cabin had to offer. The kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast every morning and pack a lunch for walking the state park only about a mile down the road. Watching the pelicans swim down the Mississippi was morning entertainment from the porch chairs. The relaxing jacuzzi tub was a special treat every evening as we watched our favorite show from the outdoor tv. This cabin was well equipped, decorated thoughtfully and tastefully and provided us with a relaxing get-away! In addition, Pauline was quick to deliver a new coffee maker when the one we had wouldn’t work! Thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your slice of Heaven!

This cabin was fully stocked with amenities, linens, soap, washing detergent, kitchen equipment and was super clean. The area around the cabin peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a cabin getaway. Definitely worth the price.

Visited from Chicago after graduation from residency with my mom, sister and dog. It was just what we needed. Sooooo peaceful, restorative and tranquil. The place was comfortable and cozy. I really enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and chatting with my family while watching the rain, the fireflies and the mooing cows. Will probably visit again sometime soon!

Enjoyed our trip to Galena and our stay in Elizabeth at the bnb. Only wish the temperature was warmer the weekend we was there but still had a good time

Great place to stay while visiting family!

A great place super close to downtown Galena and a quick drive to Chestnut Mountain - truly the best of both worlds. We had a wonderful time staying here with our dog who especially loved the big back yard.

The cabin was beyond peaceful and very private! But not far from shopping, and restaurants! Hot tub was clean and very well maintained! Was such an amazing/beautiful getaway!

We have nothing but great praises for this cabin! Very clean the moment we stepped in! Having a bed and bathroom and living area on both levels was terrific. Plenty of games, blankets and towels. Kitchen is small but has everything we needed for our stay. The outside spaces are to die for and the view is hard to beat. You can walk trails around the pond or even canoe on the pond! The views of Dubuque at night are also beautiful. The place was so quiet and relaxing and absolutely perfect for us! We are already planning on coming back! Rob was very responsive and gave us all the information we needed!! Thanks again Rob!
