Gorgeous Eastside Home+Yard+Bikes+5 Star Hosts

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very clean and well-appointed; particularly appreciated the older-growth trees in the neighborhood, and relative quiet being near the highway and flight patterns which were well-described in the listing. The steps to upstairs bedrooms were more manageable than anticipated, perhaps not suited for toddlers, tho not an issue for adults/older youngsters. Space is comfortable and a great place to feel at home; walking and biking options very convenient and nicely offered.

The Cottage

KelleyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
There needs to be a level beyond Super Host, like Extra Special Super Host!! Kelly & Scott would definitely qualify!! The Cottage is exactly as it appears on the airbnb site. What you don’t realize is just how comfy, cozy, quiet and peaceful it is. A quick 30 minute highway ride was all it took to connect with family in Madison this holiday weekend. When you live on water, it’s hard to do without the view. Not necessary with the Rock River right in the front yard here. Thanks for the perfect holiday weekend. Cannot wait to come back to The Cottage.

Lake Wiscosnin Cozy Cottage

BandanaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A Perfect Escape by the Wisconsin River! I stayed here for few nights in May while attending my son's graduation ceremony. Although the university was roughly 40-minute drive away, we found ourselves unwinding and disconnecting the moment we arrived at the cottage, exactly what I had hoped for on this trip. This cozy cottage is beautifully designed and sits right on the Wisconsin River, offering serene views throughout the day, especially at sunrise and sunset. We made sure to explore the nearby street on foot and enjoyed a lovely picnic at the local park. The firepit and side deck were perfect. I wish I had more time to enjoy those. If you’re into canoeing and boating, this location is ideal. Roger was a fantastic host, very prompt and attentive. Clear instructions made check-in and check-out effortless. I will stay here again if visiting Madison, Devils Lake, Mirror Lake, or other attractions in the area.

Beautiful 1 Bedroom Cottage Tucked Away in the Hills of the Driftless Area

BenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If you're looking for quiet, peaceful beauty out in the country, you'll be hard-pressed to find something better than Mike's cottage. One aspect I appreciated the most is that often times you'll find what looks like a very remote place that seems like it will be quiet, but the nearest highway can still be heard a ridge or two away. Not at Mike's place: all I could hear there was wind, a few birds, and my breathing. This may not be a draw for some people, but those people probably aren't looking for a place to stay in this region. For the rest of you, check this place out. I found the bed very comfortable, and I prefer medium to hard beds. Mike was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave plenty of helpful recommendations about his favorite restaurants and hikes. Good TV setup as well as hookup options to play your phone audio on some good speakers (so you don't need to bring a bluetooth speaker).

MJ's Penthouse ( A piece of paradise in Monroe)

VincentRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I have just gotten married the day we went to this location so it was our honeymoon destination for two nights! the location was absolutely beautiful. clean, beautiful, had Boardgames too! YouTube tv was a nice touch as well! we loved the restaurants nearby, very friendly people locally, and the environment was peaceful. everything went really well except for 1 thing. the toilets backed up a lot making us weary to flush even when hardly Flushing anything. we press and held the lever to make sure it flushed properly given that it is an older toilet system. that seem to work most of the time. but we had to have the plunger at the ready. other than that everything went great! would love to stay again in the future!

Prairie-Chic Downtown Lakeside

JoeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Alexander's flat in Madison was perfect for our stay. Right downtown, a stone's throw from the capital, and about a mile from the heart of the UW campus, this home was fantastic with a beautiful view of Lake Mendota. The best part of the experience was how easy it was to work with Alexander. He was very responsive to every question, he was proactive about giving us information needed for an easy and comfortable stay, and he was extremely thorough in the information needed about checking in and out of the apartment. All in, this was a great experience and I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks Alexander. - Joe S
