Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Galena

The Airbnb was perfect! It was super secluded, which was perfect for getting away from everything. There was so much fun stuff to do - we loved hanging out by the fire pit at night and my son loved the zip line. The fishing spot was great, and my son had a wonderful time with his grandfather fishing. We also went hiking and explored the trails around the property and seeing the horses. The whole place was just so peaceful. Matthew was quick to answer our questions; communication was great! The best part was that we had everything we needed right there, so we didn't have to worry about forgetting anything. We had such a great time that we're definitely coming back. It was like the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation all in one spot.

Nathan was a great communicator and everything was as expected. Clean/neat house with very cute decor. We are thankful that he allowed our two dogs to stay as well since it can be difficult to travel with pets. Close to downtown.

Stayed here with family. Easy to find. Quiet. Layout worked out well. 3 bathrooms! Able to block off stairs. traveled with a senior dog with a bad knee. Kitchen had anything we needed. Relaxing after a day at Chesnut Mountain. Beds comfortable, bathrooms spotless. husband enjoyed the puzzle ball game. Nicely decorated to reflect the holiday season!

Stayed at Emily’s place with a large group for a weekend ski trip. Emily’s house fit our needs perfectly with good sized rooms, PLENTY of bathrooms, and cozy living room. The surroundings were beautiful- we enjoyed the hot tub on a very cold weekend. Although it’s in the territory it was a quick 10 minute drive to the downtown shopping and 20 minimum to Chestnut. Comfy beds! Thank you so much!

We had the best weekend in Galena and Joel’s house was the perfect spot. The location was perfect for us - a quiet, wooded lot about 10-15 minutes from town. The layout of the house is ideal for couples or families as each bedroom has its own bathroom which is something I always appreciate with a bigger group. Joel was very responsive and even flexible with our last minute request. Thanks for providing a smooth check in/check out. It helped make for a perfect weekend in Galena - can’t wait to return soon ☺️

Great place, this is our hometown so this is like being home! Back driveway area could use a light, it was a little dark back there. Otherwise everything was good-the ice maker on the fridge seemed a bit finicky but such a beautiful kitchen!

This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was amazing. We absolutely loved it. It was so clean, looked exactly like the pictures and had everything you could need. It's a short drive to Main Street in Galena but well worth it for the private peaceful location. We will definitely be back.

The property was easy to find and an easy drive to Chestnut Skiing. The decor is perfect and welcoming, reflecting the out-of-doors environment and landscape. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing family dinners. We had everything we needed.

I would recommend Jared's place as great spot to stay in Galena. The townhome was exactly as advertised, clean and quiet. The furnishing, bedding and all the rest were comfortable and stylish. The surroundings are beautiful and Jared was a wonderful host. I would definitely return next I come to Galena.

Our family absolutely loved our stay in Galena. Jennie and Rob were very responsive and their home was beautiful and clean. It was a very pleasant experience and peaceful little getaway with our family. We definitely recommend them as hosts and what they have to offer. Would love to rebook a trip in the future.

Loved our lazy time at this beautiful house! Despite some crazy fog we were able to enjoy the beautiful view! Home is comfy with plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was also great! Danesa provided lots of great info! Hope we can visit again!

A beautiful place with lots to do. From the fishing pond to the fun stiff in the basement to the great outdoor space, my family had a wonderful time.

This was our second time staying at Zoe’s cottage in Galena. We love being able to travel with our dog and this location was so close to downtown Galena. The cottage is cozy and everything was as expected. We’ll be back again.

Everything went well with our stay. The location was easy to find and it had all the accommodations we were needing. A sound machine might be a good addition as the street has a lot of traffic which made sleep difficult. All in all we had a great stay!

The 1920's Spanish Revival home was just what we expected, like stepping back in time 100 years but with modern amenities and a clean, uncluttered look and beautiful aesthetic. It was a lovely mix of old and new with everything you might need for a respite away from the everyday. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy living room, sun room and dining room and cooked up a storm in the well stocked kitchen. Ample sunlight streamed inside in the mornings, perfect to wake up to a hot cup of coffee. We appreciated the ample blankets for the cold winter weekend, many extra small appliances to satisfy our creature comforts and small snacks and treats left out for us. I highly recommend this space, as it is a short drive to all Dubuque has to offer. It was clean, comfortable and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

What an amazing place!!! It looks exactly like the pictures and hasn’t the coziest atmosphere with so many amenities. The hosts were incredible- going above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. We will definitely be returning!

This was an amazing place to stay! Huge bathtub off the master bathroom. Gaining access to the Owner's club of the area was awesome to get our 4 month old in a pool for the first time. We will most definitely be back in the summer sometime to make the most of the other amenities offered.
