Paula's place is fantastic! The town is very peaceful and scenic and not busy like some parts of the city. A great escape if you're looking for a relaxing time on Sao Miguel!

Wow just wow, what a location. If you like to hike stay here. There are ao man hikes around the place and you have the lake in you're back garden. The airbnb has everything you need and the shower is fantastic. When we arrived there were some snacks on the tablet, so friendly! We definitely recommend it!!

It was an outstanding experience for us to stay in Joao' exquisite place. The location is so special and the house is a masterpiece and so, so comfortable. We couldn't believe our luck sitting at the fireplace and taking in the unbelievable view. Even if you just have a few days, I would highly recommend staying here.

We LOVED our stay in Bretanha! We felt at home from the moment we stepped in the door. Mila the cat was a special highlight for the kids - so loving and sweet. The house had everything that we needed, Robert had great recommendations and the small town was quiet and off the beaten path. If you are looking for a quiet home away from home and a base to explore the island this is a fantastic option!
